I really hate to admit it, but it is. They are foresworn to change and alter it, and alter the moral fabric of American Society. They are to be feared, for they are the leftists, liberals, progressives, socialists, demokkkRATs, commies, nazis, fascists and other assorted subhuman filth. They are the subhuman ghouls walking amongst us. Fiscal Conservatism died many years ago, and never made a comeback. Social Conservatism has been dying by degrees, over the decades. A massive storm came through the region last Saturday, and rained-out our 15th Open House, with torrential downpours, all day, deluging us with just under 3". 250-300 die-hard gardeners came for the food, wine, music and plants, but nowhere near the 1,500+ who usually show-up for this social event. Temps in the 40s didn't help either. And the flooding was everywhere. This time of year, the weather's a crap shoot, anyway. I can remember about 10 or 11 years ago, when we were snowed-out with 6-8", and couldn't even get outside because of all the blowing and drifting.
Did you remember to set your clock(s) ahead, for DST? Right now, it's only dark going to work at 6am, but that'll change in a few weeks.
I've been running all week, to landscape meetings on dozens of customers' sites, doing work estimates, budgets, paying bills, landscape design, supervising my crews getting the garden center & nursery put back together with all the new nursery stock arrivals, handling walk-in customers, supervising my garden center staff (3), and just trying to keep my sanity.

Pennsylvania State Rep Jeff Habay is accused of lying when he told authorities he received an envelope containing a suspicious white powder from a constituent. Habay's attorney believes his client is the victim of a vendetta. Defense Attorney Jim Ecker said, "This is what really bothers me, is he is a politician. There isn't a month that goes by that I don't pick up a newspaper or watch you guys on TV and I see so and so politician, whether it's a US senator, a local person, indicted or arrested." Ecker said Habay will plead not guilty when he turns himself in Tuesday.

Paulette Baines, a lowlife subhuman porch monkey, was charged with assault with bodily injury in connection with the beating Friday, Dallas County Jail records show. Ms. Baines, 45, was released from jail early Saturday after posting $2,500 bail, a jail official said. She could not be reached for comment. A man who answered the telephone at her home and said he was her husband said they had no comment.
A Bainbridge Island millionaire is free after cutting a plea deal with prosecutors over child rape charges. David Nusbaum walked out of jail a free man after spending less than a year behind bars. In April of 2004, Nusbaum was charged with repeatedly raping and molesting a 13-year-old girl at his Bainbridge home. Detectives say the assaults began when the girl was just 6-years-old. She and her mother lived with Nusbaum for about nine years. David Nusbaum is less than an animal — he's subhuman — and needs killing. Zero recividism.
