83 crazy numbers from 2013

friday, january 3rd, 2014

during 2013, America continued to steadily march down a self-destructive path toward oblivion. As a society, our debt levels are completely and totally out of control. Our financial system has been transformed into the largest casino on the entire planet and our big banks are behaving even more recklessly than they did just before the last financial crisis. We continue to see thousands of businesses and millions of jobs get shipped out of the United States, and the middle class is being absolutely eviscerated. Due to the lack of decent jobs, poverty is absolutely exploding. Government dependence is at an all-time high and crime is rising. Evidence of social and moral decay is seemingly everywhere, and our government appears to be going insane. If we are going to have any hope of solving these problems, the American people need to take a long, hard look in the mirror and finally admit how bad things have actually become. If we all just blindly have faith that "everything is going to be okay", the consequences of decades of incredibly foolish decisions are going to absolutely blindside us and we will be absolutely devastated by the great crisis that is rapidly approaching. The United States is in a massive amount of trouble, and it is time that we all started facing the truth. The following are 83 numbers from 2013 that are almost too crazy to believe...

#1 Most people that hear this statistic do not believe that it is actually true, but right now an all-time record 102 million working age Americans do not have a job. That number has risen by about 27 million since the year 2000.

#2 Because of the lack of jobs, poverty is spreading like wildfire in the United States. According to the most recent numbers from the U.S. Census Bureau, an all-time record 49.2 percent of all Americans are receiving benefits from at least one government program each month.

#3 As society breaks down, the government feels a greater need than ever before to watch, monitor and track the population. For example, every single day the NSA intercepts and permanently stores close to 2 billion emails and phone calls in addition to a whole host of other data.

#4 The Bank for International Settlements says that total public and private debt levels around the globe are now 30 percent higher than they were back during the financial crisis of 2008.

#5 According to a recent World Bank report, private domestic debt in China has grown from 9 trillion dollars in 2008 to 23 trillion dollars today.

#6 In 1985, there were more than 18,000 banks in the United States. Today, there are only 6,891 left.

#7 The six largest banks in the United States (JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley) have collectively gotten 37 percent larger over the past five years.

#8 The U.S. banking system has 14.4 trillion dollars in total assets.  The six largest banks now account for 67 percent of those assets and all of the other banks account for only 33 percent of those assets.

#9 JPMorgan Chase is roughly the size of the entire British economy.

#10 The five largest banks now account for 42 percent of all loans in the United States.

#11 Right now, four of the “too big to fail” banks each have total exposure to derivatives that is well in excess of 40 trillion dollars.

#12 The total exposure that Goldman Sachs has to derivatives contracts ismore than 381 times greater than their total assets.

#13 According to the Bank for International Settlements, the global financial system has a total of 441 trillion dollars worth of exposure to interest rate derivatives.

#14 Through the end of November, approximately 365,000 Americans had signed up for Obamacare but approximately 4 million Americanshad already lost their current health insurance policies because of Obamacare.

#15 It is being projected that up to 100 million more Americans could have their health insurance policies canceled by the time Obamacare is fully rolled out.

#16 At this point, 82.4 million Americans live in a home where at least one person is enrolled in the Medicaid program.

#17 It is has been estimated that Obamacare will add 21 million more Americans to the Medicaid rolls.

#18 It is being projected that health insurance premiums for healthy 30-year-old men will rise by an average of 260 percent under Obamacare.

#19 One couple down in Texas received a letter from their health insurance company that informed them that they were being hit with a 539 percent rate increase because of Obamacare.

#20 Back in 1999, 64.1 percent of all Americans were covered by employment-based health insurance. Today, only 54.9 percent of all Americans are covered by employment-based health insurance.

#21 The U.S. government has spent an astounding 3.7 trillion dollarson welfare programs over the past five years.

#22 Incredibly, 74 percent of all the wealth in the United States is owned by the wealthiest 10 percent of all Americans.

#23 According to Consumer Reports, the number of children in the United States taking antipsychotic drugs has nearly tripled over the past 15 years.

#24 The marriage rate in the United States has fallen to an all-time low. Right now, it is sitting at a yearly rate of just 6.8 marriages per 1000 people.

#25 According to a shocking new study, the average American that turned 65 this year will receive $327,500 more in federal benefits than they paid in taxes over the course of their lifetimes.

#26 In just one week in December, a combined total of more than 2000 new cold temperature and snowfall records were set in the United States.

#27 According to the U.S. Census Bureau, median household income in the United States has fallen for five years in a row.

#28 The rate of homeownership in the United States has fallen for eight years in a row.

#29 Only 47 percent of all adults in America have a full-time job at this point.

#30 The unemployment rate in the eurozone recently hit a new all-time high of 12.2 percent.

#31 If you assume that the labor force participation rate in the U.S. is at the long-term average, the unemployment rate in the United States would actually be 11.5 percent instead of 7 percent.

#32 In November 2000, 64.3 percent of all working age Americans had a job.  When Barack Obama first entered the White House, 60.6 percentof all working age Americans had a job. Today, only 58.6 percent of all working age Americans have a job.

#33 There are 1,148,000 fewer Americans working today than there was in November 2006. Meanwhile, our population has grown by more than 16 million people during that time frame.

#34 Only 19 percent of all Americans believe that the job market is better than it was a year ago.

#35 Just 14 percent of all Americans believe that the stock market will rise next year.

#36 According to CNBC, Pinterest is currently valued at more than 3 billion dollars even though it has never earned a profit.

#37 Twitter is a seven-year-old company that has never made a profit.  It actually lost 64.6 million dollars last quarter.  But according to the financial markets it is currently worth about 22 billion dollars.

#38 Right now, Facebook is trading at a valuation that is equivalent to approximately 100 years of earnings, and it is currently supposedly worth about 115 billion dollars.

#39 Total consumer credit has risen by a whopping 22 percent over the past three years.

#40 Student loans are up by an astounding 61 percent over the past three years.

#41 At this moment, there are 6 million Americans in the 16 to 24-year-old age group that are neither in school or working.

#42 The “inactivity rate” for men in their prime working years (25 to 54) has just hit a brand new all-time record high.

#43 It is hard to believe, but in America today one out of every ten jobs is now filled by a temp agency.

#44 Middle-wage jobs accounted for 60 percent of the jobs lost during the last recession, but they have accounted for only 22 percent of the jobs created since then.

#45 According to the Social Security Administration, 40 percent of all U.S. workers make less than $20,000 a year.

#46 Approximately one out of every four part-time workers in America is living below the poverty line.

#47 After accounting for inflation, 40 percent of all U.S. workers are making less than what a full-time minimum wage worker made back in 1968.

#48 When Barack Obama took office, the average duration of unemployment in this country was 19.8 weeks. Today, it is 37.2 weeks.

#49 Investors pulled an astounding 72 billion dollars out of bond mutual funds in 2013. It was the worst year for bond funds ever.

#50 Small business is rapidly dying in America. At this point, only about 7 percent of all non-farm workers in the United States are self-employed.  That is an all-time record low.

#51 The six heirs of Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton have as much wealth as the bottom one-third of all Americans combined.

#52 Once January 1st hits, it will officially be illegal to manufacture or import traditional incandescent light bulbs in the United States. It is being projected that millions of Americans will attempt to stock up on the old light bulbs before they are totally gone from store shelves.

#53 The Japanese government has estimated that approximately 300 tons of highly radioactive water is being released into the Pacific Ocean from the destroyed Fukushima nuclear facility every single day.

#54 Back in 1967, the U.S. military had more than 31,000 strategic nuclear warheads. That number is already being cut down to 1,550, and now Barack Obama wants to reduce it to only about 1,000.

#55 As you read this, 60 percent of all children in Detroit are living in poverty and there are approximately 78,000 abandoned homes in the city.

#56 Wal-Mart recently opened up two new stores in Washington D.C., and more than 23,000 people applied for just 600 positions.  That means that only about 2.6 percent of the applicants were ultimately hired.  In comparison, Harvard offers admission to 6.1 percent of their applicants.

#57 At this point, almost half of all public school students in America come from low income homes.

#58 Tragically, there are 1.2 million students that attend public schools in the United States that are homeless. That number has risen by 72 percent since the start of the last recession.

#59 According to a Gallup poll that was recently released, 20.0 percent of all Americans did not have enough money to buy food that they or their families needed at some point over the past year. That is just under the all-time record of 20.4 percent that was set back in November 2008.

#60 The number of Americans on food stamps has grown from 17 million in the year 2000 to more than 47 million today.

#61 Right now, one out of every five households in the United States is on food stamps.

#62 The U.S. economy loses approximately 9,000 jobs for every 1 billion dollars of goods that are imported from overseas.

#63 Back in 1950, more than 80 percent of all men in the United States had jobs. Today, less than 65 percent of all men in the United States have jobs.

#64 According to one survey, approximately 75 percent of all American women do not have any interest in dating unemployed men.

#65 China exports 4 billion pounds of food to the United States every year.

#66 Overall, the United States has run a trade deficit of more than 8 trillion dollars with the rest of the world since 1975.

#67 The number of Americans on Social Security Disability now exceedsthe entire population of Greece, and the number of Americans on food stamps now exceeds the entire population of Spain.

#68 It is being projected that the number of Americans on Social Security will rise from 57 million today to more than 100 million in 25 years.

#69 Back in 1970, the total amount of debt in the United States (government debt + business debt + consumer debt, etc.) was less than 2 trillion dollars. Today it is over 56 trillion dollars.

#70 Back on September 30th, 2012 our national debt was sitting at a total of 16.1 trillion dollars. Today, it is up to 17.2 trillion dollars.

#71 The U.S. government “rolled over” more than 7.5 trillion dollarsof existing debt in fiscal 2013.

#72 If the U.S. national debt was reduced to a stack of one dollar bills it would circle the earth at the equator 45 times.

#73 When Barack Obama was first elected, the U.S. debt to GDP ratio was under 70 percent. Today, it is up to 101 percent.

#74 The U.S. national debt is on pace to more than double during the eight years of the Obama administration.  In other words, under Barack Obama the U.S. government will accumulate more debt than it did under all of the other presidents in U.S. history combined.

#75 The federal government is borrowing (stealing) roughly 100 million dollars from our children and our grandchildren every single hour of every single day.

#76 At this point, the U.S. already has more government debt per capitathan Greece, Portugal, Italy, Ireland or Spain.

#77 Japan now has a debt to GDP ratio of more than 211 percent.

#78 As of December 5th, 83 volcanic eruptions had been recorded around the planet so far this year. That is a new all-time record high.

Yes, 2013 was the Year Of The Zombies, and 2014 will be even worse.

A Day In The Life

I slept-in on Friday morning until 7:45 – could have slept longer but I have to start the day sometime – and got-up to a cold, 17°F day, but at least there was no snow for us, in the day's forecast. After getting bundled-up in my über-warm Turkish Bathrobe, I made Fresh-Squeezed OJ w/ lots of pulp, French-Roast, Turkish-Grind Coffee (from whole, freshly-ground Starbuck's® Dark French Roast Fresh Ground Beans) with my Chemex® Drip System, Fried Ham, Home Fries & Eggs, for breakfast. After checking email, the weather and news sites, I called Dad about going to Express Towing's storage yard, to get his very special Combat Wounded Veteran's license plate off the Jeep, before it's towed to the scrap yard. He told me that he'd called the company's owner, and he had removed it and would keep it in

the office for us until we could pick it up. So, no hurry on that. I tuned-in the Chris Plante Show, which had a decent sub-host until next week, and got ready for the day.

I had some errands to do, so I left at 10:30 to finish those up, and ran smack into "bargain shopper" traffic, clogging-up the roads around The York Galleria, in Rt24's northbound lane. Idiots. I bypassed them before it got too bad, and when Dad called to go get his special license plate, I used the "back roads route" north of me, thru Emigsville to get to North York. Even the sun didn't warm the day up very much; high was only 34°F, but the 35-45mph wind made it seem a lot colder. We got the plate, came back to Dad's, ran-off 5 sheets of pre-printed Patriotic NetStamps on my account on stamps.com, for him, Becky and myself, and I headed home via the back roads, for the day. After a couple more Classic BLTs, a bowl of Maryland Crap Soup and some Red Seedless Grapes, I continued loading AR-15 & AR-10 mags, did filing and gathered/sorted/prepared information from my files for Becky's realtor, who has a possible client-buyer for the property. A little later, I listened to the

evening's Mark Levin Show, from 6-9pm, and the Michael Savage Show from 9-11pm, both shows with sub-hosts. I'd had a day-full by 11:30pm, and closed-down, armed the Condo, and called it quits for the night.

The clanging and banging of the garbage truck – working Saturdays to make-up for Christmas and New Year Holidays – woke me at 6am, on Saturday. And that was just the recyclables truck; the main truck hadn't come thru yet. Another cold and cloudy day, 26°F and thankfully not snowing. After turning-up the heat, I had some Texas Red Grapefruit, made coffee and Soft-Boiled Eggs w/ Bacon in a bowl, while checking email, and the weather and news websites. Heavy rain was forecast to hit our area tomorrow, and into Monday. At least it's not going to be snow. By 10am, temps had reached 51°F and I went out for a walk until 12:30pm, came back and made lunch. The Grilled Cheese w/Ham Sandwich & Potato Salad, and Onion Rings were good after the 2½hr walk. I drove the Jeep over to the nearby DIY carwash, and cleaned-off the road salt from the paint and undercarriage. Traffic was brisk to/from The York Galleria Mall, so I avoided going home that route, and took the back roads. I continued assembling a package of GC&N Property information for the interested realtor, and did some other paperwork. Weren't computers supposed to reduce or minimize paperwork? I must have misunderstood that bromide; heh. I watched all 15 episodes of Gun Talk's "First Person Defender" Series on YT; EXCELLENT! By

11:15pm, I was getting tired, remembered that I had food shopping to do in the morning, unpack and drive to Dad's to visit and pick-up some of Becky's homemade Ham & Bean Soup. After checking the weather maps, I saw the huge stormfront moving up the East Coast toward our area, as forecast, and Sunday would be a wet, but not snowy/icy day. So I closed down, armed the Condo and hit the sack.

The hard rain on the Condo's skylights and windows woke me up at 7:15am on Sunday. 34°F. It wasn't as cool in the Condo as it'd been for the past few mornings, but I cranked-up the heat anyway, made OJ and coffee, and checked the weather, news sites, and email, and saw the massive storm was overspreading our area, while moving-up into New England. It was just now turning into a Nor'easter and would hammer the northern states, after dumping a lot of rain in its wake. I can handle rain, and localized flooding; it's the massive snowstorms which paralyze a region and just plain suck. I checked my food shopping list, and got ready to go, and left for Weis Market, in East York, at 8:30am. I got thru in 20mins, and headed over to Dad's to visit. After talking to Becky and him, I found that he'd been hit with the CryptoLocker Virus on Saturday, and had to call Comcast to get help to

unlock his HP laptop, and fee-up all the files. Upon getting his usual weekly backup ready, I found that MS-Word 2007 was corrupted, and I had to rebuild the "normal.dat" file for him, to get access to his documents. The CL Virus had stepped all over the laptop's files and I finally saved 99% of them by rebuilding several registry files. Damn, what a mess! Becky had 4qts of Ham & Bean Soup for me, which I brought home with the groceries, unpacked and put away. High for the day was only 39°F. I made a Grilled Cheese, Bacon & Ham and Tomato Soup for lunch; that was good. The rain continued until 5pm. On the morning's trip, I saw that gas/diesel prices at the pump, had increased 10¢/gal, since Wednesday, December 24th: Unleaded Regular (87 oct) is now at $3.39/gal, Unleaded Premium (89oct) is at $3.49/gal, Premium (93 oct) is at $3.69/gal, with Diesel Fuel/Kerosene K-2 also dropping to $4.09/gal, at most stations, in the York (PA) area. After writing out checks for upcoming bills, and doing 2 loads of laundry, I listened to some "Gun Talk" Radio Archives of older shows, and listened to streaming "Gun Talk" Radio from 8-11pm, followed it on this Conservative forum, and shut-down at 11:45pm. Tomorrow's errands, more laundry and a realtor meeting.

Despite a turbulent night of weird dreams and little real sleep, I managed to stay in bed until 7am on Monday, and got-up to a balmy, sunny 45°F day. After making OJ, coffee and an English Muffin w/ Marmalade, I checked the weather and news websites, and scanned email. (I wonder if the Brits even eat those things?) Heavens To Murgatroyd: we just got finished with all of the "Christmas Sales", and now it's "New Years Sales" and "Winter Sales". Tons of emails coming in screaming ***SALE!***. Yikes! Another dreary day; tomorrow too. But Thursday and Friday could get interesting for this region, as two major storms will impact us. After my usual morning shower, I left at 10am to get some overdue things done. Traffic was getting heavy near the usual shopping centers and malls, and I was back

by 11:30. Temps had dropped to 39°F, and it was just plain "raw" outside. I made a Bacon Cheddar-Cheeseburger w/ Fries, logged on to the HP.com site, and tried to order a superfast HP Compaq Pro 6300 Microtower PC for $1,500 as a back-up, like the one I'm using now. They ain't pretty, but they are reliable and superfast. I spent the next 5¾-hours on HP's site, on-hold/being transferred and finally cut-off as they closed at 8pm. My BP spiked, and I called Matt from Spartan Computers to stop by at 10am on Tuesday. I gave-up at 10:30pm, and just relaxed from all that BS on HP's site. They're having some serious website problems, and everyone I talked to at HP, confirmed it, and couldn't help me. By 11:45, I'd had enough, took some aspirin, closed down, armed the Condo and went upstairs to bed.

I got-up at 6:30am on Tuesday morning, to another cold 26°F and dreary day. While making OJ and coffee, I checked the weather and news sites, and saw that we're now forecast to get hammered by a potentially massive snowstorm, just as my new appliances are to be delivered and installed on Thursday morning, from Heidelbaugh's Appliance Co., in York. Swell; just what I needed! Undeterred, I re-tried the HP.com website and ran into all kinds of roadblocks and stonewalls, which prevented me from making the $1,500 hardware/software purchase. Matt, from Spartan Computers, stopped by at 10am, and together we tried navigating the screwed-up HP mess. Matt tried Ebay, and we found the exact same HP computer, i5 3.4 3570 quad-core processor, 16GB of DDR3 memory, and MS-Office Pro 2007, for half the cost. HALF

THE COST! So I used my Ebay account, and ordered the hardware and software. SUCCESS! Damned HP.com bullcrap, anyway. That HP.com website nightmare behind me, I had a Grilled Cheese w/Ham Sandwich & Potato Salad, for lunch, and relaxed for the afternoon, listened to Rush (Mark Steyn subbing) and worked on paperwork, after calling Dad to see what he was up to. I kept checking and rechecking the weather maps for the forecast Thursday's two merging storms' progress. Temps were dropping fast into the 20s, from the day's high of 39°F, as brutal frigid air and wind began to overspread the area. I started cleaning out the kitchen's old 'fridge's freezer, and moving the stuff into the garage's top-loader freezer, since my newly-purchased unit would be coming in Thursday morning, along with a Becky-donated, nearly-new, pristine microwave, gas range and dishwasher. I'll miss my 23-yr old Frigidaire 'fridge, GE microwave, GE gas range and GE dishwasher. I listened to the Mark Levin "Best Of" Show, from 6-9pm, and the Michael Savage Show from 9-11pm, with a sub-host. I made it until 12:15pm, and then went upstairs to sleep. Happy New Year!

New Year's Day was very cold at 19°F, but the sun came-up as expected, despite all the predictions that the world would end. I got-up at 7am, fired-up the furnace, made coffee, had some Del Monte® Mandarin Oranges and Fried Ham Hash, Sunny-Side-Up Eggs & Ancho Catsup, quickly checked the weather and news sites, and saw the two storms building for a run at us tomorrow. From the looks of it, the two storms might not join into one large

blizzard, but rather hit as separate storms. Who knows? I left at 9am and drove to the bank to get some cash from the ATM, but the entire ATM system in York-Harrisburg was down. Next, over to Dad's to visit with him and Becky, and finally back home at 11, with a load of door gold hardware from her new Condo. Nice stuff, but I can't use it. I still had prep work to do for tomorrow morning's appliance switch/installation, so I spent a couple hours getting ready for that disruption. After a Turkey Club w/ Fries and a bowl of Ham & Bean Soup for lunch, in between prepping the kitchen. I noticed that a *** WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY *** had been posted on all regional weather sites, and the two storms were picking-up speed, toward us. With as much done in anticipation of what would happen tomorrow for the appliance removal/switch/new installation, I listened to the "Best Of" Mark Levin Show, from 6-9pm, and the Michael Savage Show from 9-11pm. Temps had dropped to 28°F outside, and I had the Condo heat up to 77°F to warm it up before I went to bed, which I did at 11:30. Tomorrow would be a hectic day.

After a night of vivid dreams, I woke at 5:45am, grabbed my usual morning Turkish Bathrobe, cranked-up the heat, made coffee and OJ, skipped breakfast, and checked the weather and news sites. The unpleasant *** WINTER STORM WARNING *** was posted on every local weather and new site, with *** BLIZZARD WARNING *** also posted for areas just north and northeast of the York-Harrisburg area. 3-5" was the initial call, and that's nothing compared to what was forecast for New England. I remember much, much worse than that on coming being

called "Blizzard of '96", and the Blizzard of '93, Blizzard of '03 and dual-Blizzards of '10. So this would be pretty much a non-event, for us. I got ready, brought some more empty medium cartons from the basement, moved the Jeep to street parking, so Heidelbaugh's delivery truck could back into the driveway, and waited. As the snowstorm edged closer and closer to the York area, I also had UPS and USPS deliveries scheduled for today and tomorrow, and possibly into next week, as 2 cases of bacon and 1 case of hamburger/ground beef arrived at 11am, and the HP Compaq Pro 6300 Microtower PC i5-3570 Windows 7 Pro computer, and extra 16Gb DDR3 memory and MS-Office Pro 2007 Suite I'd just ordered from Ebay on New Year's Eve Day (as opposed to New Year's Day), would be coming tomorrow thru next week, so it'd be a busy few days. The Heidelbaugh's truck arrived at 10am, after picking-up the 3 almost-new, pristine appliances from Becky's Condo, and the two installers got to work. Within 2½-hours, they had the 4 old appliances out, and the 4 new ones – GE Dishwasher, GE Microwave and Gas Range, and Maytag Refrigerator – installed and hooked-up to gas and water lines. I had to go out and run some errands, and by

3:15pm, it was snowing. Back before we got deluged by 2"/hr snowfall, I garaged the Jeep, and spent several hours repacking the new 'fridge & freezer with all the foodstuffs, sorting thru everything and pitching older stuff; it's going to take a little while to get used to the bottom freezer in that unit, but I finally got everything put away. The ice maker was cranking out cubes, and I had a cool Ocean Spray® Diet Blueberry Juice, while filling out the two rebate forms for the 'fridge, from energy company and the manufacturer, and listening to Mark Levin Show, from 6-9pm. I turned-on the CATV's The Weather Channel until 11pm, saw the upgraded *** WINTER STORM WARNING ***, and called it a day at 11:30. I'll probably be shoveling myself out and driving over to Dad's tomorrow, to shovel him and Becky out. It's been a long day.

Tomorrow starts a new week here in the "Journal" and, although nothing concrete is yet on my calendar, that will change by Sunday. I need to help Becky with some projects, as soon as her painters are finished, since she's the General Contractor on that job, as I was when I founded, excavated, built JS' Garden Center & Nursery, back in 1989-1990. Many of the business people I need to see, are on a 1-2 week vacation, so all that will have to wait. I've got enough projects floating around to keep me occupied.

Your TSHTF Survival

Are you truly ready for when, not if, TSHTF (The Shit Hits The Fan). And a lot of my "Journal" Readers have emailed and called me to discuss what preparations they should take for that "coming awful event". Believe me, "it" IS coming. Based upon what's happening around the world and here in the US, I have a terrible, terrible *gut feeling* that TSWHTF (The Shit Will Hit The Fan), sometime in 2014. Don't ask why; I just do.

First, Israel is preparing for war, after being attacked for years on many fronts, and not fighting back as she should have. This war will truly have "Biblical implications" around the world. The Middle East is rapidly-collapsing under the subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic riots (muslim Brotherhood) and rule ("arab Spring"), with world crude oil prices projected to hit $200+/bbl, or even higher into the $300-$400 range,

Europe is on the verge of insolvency and collapse, no thanks in great part to Germany, teetering-and-tottering Asia and South America will quickly-follow, then comes the downfall of Canada, and The USA won't be far behind, in late 2012 and into 2013. Watch this video; be sure you're sitting-down, and don't have any food or liquid in your mouth upon which to choke.

Just Google "survival" and see what comes-up. Damned-near everything you ever wanted to know how to prepare for this for-sure-coming "hellish holocaust", some of it in easy-to-download *.PDF format. Tens-of-thousands of websites are devoted to the topic of "survival". Do the same with "You Tube", and watch the thousands of videos. This is *NOT The Phony Y2K Crappola*; this is for real. I said numerous times that Y2K was a waste of time and money to prepare for, and that came true. I'm reading that "survival stores" are reporting a huge upswing in sales and preparations, and for good reason.

I'm also one of the very, very few who "predicted a 9-11 type event", 2 years and 8 months before it happened. Read down that "Journal" entry to the "Scary Stuff" section, and it was done by the subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic shit/filth/trash, NOT the US Gov't as some morons and idiots (Alex Jones & Co), have and still It's interesting you mention when an old paradigm dies and a new one takes its place. There are people who are still connected to the old one and can't conceive of life without that old paradigm. I think you saw that in the Great Depression. A lot of people never recovered from it because once that hit it was the end of their lives. claim. Need I say more about those certifiable and murderous, subhuman muslim/islamist wackos who are determined to kill all of us Proud Infidels?

Am I an "conspiracy alarmist" or one of those "crazed survivalists", sequestered in a Montana, Idaho, Utah or Wyoming compound or bunker? Not hardly; I'm simply in mid-State Pennsylvania, an Eagle Scout, Class of 1963, Order Of The Arrow/ Vigil Honor, and our BSA Motto was then, and still is now, "Be Prepared". Need I say any more?

Forget all of the "buy gold and silver" bullshit commercials; buy "brass and lead" for your guns. They're a far, far superior investment, IMO. Ammo is truly a "fungible" item; gold & silver aren't at all. They may be "intrinsic", but they're utterly-useless in a collapsing/collapsed society or world. Do the requisite research, as I've done. 'Nuff said on that subject.

BTW, how are you stocked-up for incandescent light bulbs? Within 4 weeks, manufacturing and using 100w incandescent will become "a crime", thanks to stupid-assed, liberal moron chimp, shit-for-brains, George W Bush & Co, in 2007. You'll be forced, under penalty-of-law, to use the very expensive,

dangerous and short-lived CFLs (Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs). Better stock-up NOW on 60w, 75w and 100w incandescents, where and when you can find them, before they become unavailable and illegal!

This government's ***CRIMINALLY NUTS***, in trying to regulate our use of anything and everything! It's fascism, socialism, Leninism and communism, dammit, and it won't stand! Where is that in The US Constitution? The US Government isn't empowered to force us to do or buy anything, and has overstepped its legal authority in The ENUMERATED Commerce Clause. The Commerce Clause is quite specifically an enumerated power listed in the United States Constitution (Article I, Section 8, Clause 3). The Contemporary Commerce Clause debate, When "decided by the SCOTUS in the Summer of 2012", will cause CWIII, if upheld. Stockpile NOW, because TSHTF before/during/after the November General Election!

Gold is NOT the way to go; lead and brass (aka ammo) ARE. Mark my words!

TSHTF this or next year, and members of the corrupt, criminal US Congress are helping racist, commie, lowlife scumbag Barry "Fuck America!" Obama (SAMBO-IL), by either collaborating with him or cowering before him, on his You are going to see, in metro areas, the absolute worst in humanity, as the people that are most dependent upon a collectivist system, whether they're these Occupy Well Street people, or people who are loaded up with debt, they are totally unprepared for an economic reality where their paradigm does not function. As a result they're going to go through the absolute most disgusting inhumanity that I think any American has ever seen as they go through this anger phase – and it's going to result in riots, and starvation and bloodshed. It has to happen. You don't have people's life savings disappear and people become desperate, and not have that happen. coming "Race War" plan.

We are *at war with Iran*; no doubt about it. Get used to it. And shit-for-brains, racist, commie, lowlife scumbag Barry "F•ck America!" Obama (TRAITOR-IL) has politely "asked" for our formerly Top Secret RQ-170 Sentinel Drone "to be returned". What a dumbf•ck Obama is! He should be charged, tried and imprisoned for *treason*, IMO.

I've been saying, for the past 2-3 years, that no one should buy any gold or silver; it's worthless crap if TSHTF (The Shit Hits The Fan). Instead, buy guns and ammo; they're a far, far better investment, IMO. Any questions?

Uh-oh, it's beginning to happen in Europe. Better get ready for it to come over here, soon, as The Fed f•cks America, once again. Time to abolish The Fed and its corrupt, criminal influence on America's economy!

Here's a very useful List of Barter Items, for when TSHTF. Get and stockpile those and more, if you know what's good for you and your family! Think I'm kidding? Better read this and think VERY carefully about it.

With the FBI already considering many US Citizens as "sovereign citizen extremists", are you ready for "Rex 84" & The FEMA Camps? A new bill has been introduced in the US House of Representatives called the National Emergency Centers Act or HR 645. This bill if passed into law will direct the Secretary of Homeland Security to establish

national emergency centers otherwise known as FEMA Camp Facilities on military installations. Some more detail on "Rex 84", right here, written by, very disappointingly, USMC Lt Col Oliver North.

"Economic chaos" ahead? You betcha. Are you and your family ready for it? It IS coming, at out current rate of out-of-control government spending.

Looks like a "race war" is coming, thanks to the hate-filled nigga race-pimps Jackson, Sharpton, Farrakan and New Black Pampers®, and time is growing shorter and shorter before TSHTF.

Don't let the possibility of DHS watching your every move deter you in preparing for TSHTF; do it regardless. Your and your Family's safety & survival always comes first. Beware of what your neighbors will do if you're prepared and they're not.

State and local resistance to the detention provisions contained in the 2012 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) continues to grow, rapidly-emerging as a nationwide movement against the illegal and unconstitutional Federal Jack-Booted-Thugs' powers.

America is already being turned into a giant prison camp, and 90% of Americans either go along with it or don't see it happening. I do.

When prepping, always plan your survival purchases first on paper; buy them afterward.

Here's another good preparedness/precious metals website, 321 Gold. No, I don't believe in gold & silver, for what's coming. I believe in *lead & brass*/*food & water* for that situation; the other stuff comes much, much later.

Obama: "Entrepreneurs Don't Build Businesses"

"Last week, President Barack Obama delivered some telling remarks to a fire station full of people in Roanoke, Virginia. I'll save you the trouble of reading the (long and uninspired) speech and provide you with the most interesting part:

"If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." – President Barack Obama, July 13th, 2012.

It would be easy to respond with something along the lines of, "Somebody else made that happen? Who? Who magically imagined the product or service, started the business, built it up, and created the jobs? Who was it? The tooth fairy?" And to some extent, President Obama's statement is so ridiculous as to merit that sort of quick, flippant response.

(Here's the video of that loony remark.)

However, he's not entirely wrong. This reminds me of an argument that Massachusetts Senate Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren would probably make. If he's talking about a mid-sized or large business, where an entrepreneur has hired additional employees, then at that point the business's success isn't purely that of its founder.

Employees add value to a business through work and ideas. That's why you hire employees, after all. Steve Jobs didn't invent every last detail of the phones, computers, and tablets to come out of Apple over the last decade. There were engineers working on those products who developed them. So, employees help entrepreneurs to build their business. "Somebody else" did indeed play a part in making that happen.

But what makes the president's remarks so inane is the totality of what he's saying. He's not saying that entrepreneurs and employees work together to build a business. It's not a collaborative effort. It's all thanks to the employees. Usually, I can understand the way the president's mind works on most issues by examining it through a pragmatic, liberal, or progressive framework. This one baffles me.

As I explained, I can see that he has some of a point, but he's still just obviously wrong on the broader point. Sure, the employees help to build the business, but the business itself wouldn't exist without the entrepreneur. So, to say to entrepreneurs and to business owners, "...you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen," is just wrong. It's silly. They did build that by setting the foundation for the business.

Entrepreneurs are almost always the hardest workers in their business. They work a simply insane number of hours to get their idea off the ground. If they succeed (and they face a tremendous risk if they don't), then they'll start to grow and to hire employees to help. Honestly, if I were an entrepreneur and I read those remarks by the president, I would be furious. It's a tremendous insult to the true job-creators in America, entrepreneurs.

In the context of a long, somewhat rambling campaign speech that touched on every issue under the sun, it may seem as though I'm over-exaggerating the importance of a minor thing he said. But President Obama isn't a stupid man, or even one who makes off-the-cuff remarks he doesn't really mean. He's a very smart man, and he meant what he said.

When the most important issues for most Americans are economic growth and job creation, I believe it's essential to know exactly where both candidates stand on the importance of entrepreneurs. Yesterday, we learned that President Obama believes that entrepreneurs don't build businesses. Ultimately, they're irrelevant. Take that for what you will." ©Principles and Policy, July 14, 2012
