earlier this week, former President Bill Clinton advised President Obama to "honor the commitment" he made and to allow Americans to keep their health care plans, if they like them. That was a central promise Obama made when he sold Obamacare, but one that turned out not to be true when Obamacare began to be implemented last month.

"So I personally believe, even if it takes a change to the law, the president should honor the commitment the federal government made to those people and let them keep what they got," Clinton in an interview released Tuesday.

Now President Obama is taking Clinton's advice and trying to honor that commitment. In remarks today at the White House today, Obama said, "I completely get how upsetting this can be" lose insurance plans that I promised Americans would be able to keep. "To those Americans, I hear you loud and clear."

But there's a catch with president's proposed solution. The president is not proposing that the law be changed to allow all health insurance plans grandfathered into Obamacare's eligibility requirements.

No, instead the White House is saying that it will use "enforcement discretion" to allow illegal health insurance plans to be able to still be sold. That is, the Obama administration will not enforce the penalty on individuals for not having eligible health insurance plans and they'll allow the insurance companies to still sell so-called bad plans – plans they technically can't sell under Obamacare.

"Under the White House's approach, the Department of Health and Human Services will notify the nation’s state insurance commissioners that they have federal permission to allow consumers who already have such insurance policies to keep them through 2014," reports the Washington Post.

He'll also be forcing insurance companies to help advertise for Obamacare by letting customers know that there's an Obamacare marketplace where they can purchase (or get subsidized) health care coverage.

Obama's proposal is an extra-legal solution to a big problem for millions of Americans around the country.

"I don't see within the law how they can do this administratively," said Speaker John Boehner in a press conference on Capitol Hill. "No one can identify anything the president could do administratively to keep his pledge that would be both legal and effective."

The proposed White House fix so that Obama can honor his commitment is also likely to create more problems and to further distrust the American people have for this administration, which makes law based on what it chooses to enforce while sidestepping the constitutional process that is in place.

Indeed, there's another problem. As Texas senator Ted Cruz says, the president cannot fix an unfixable law. "We cannot 'fix' Obamacare. The damage has been done, as millions of Americans have already been made to pay higher premiums and lose their jobs, wages, and health care plans," Cruz said today.

President Clinton famously dismissed Obama's candidacy for president of the United States by saying, "Give me a break. This whole thing is the biggest fairy tale I have ever seen."

With Obama's reliance on "enforcement discretion," it would now seem that Clinton had a point – and that the "fairy tale" continues.

A Day In The Life

I slept-in until 6:15am on Friday, getting-up just as it was getting light outside, at a bitter 21°F. With the heat turned-up from 68°F to 77°F, Turkish Bathrobe on, I made Fresh-Squeezed OJ w/ lots of pulp, French-Roast, Turkish-Grind Coffee (from whole, freshly-ground Starbuck's® Dark French Roast Fresh Ground Beans) with my Chemex® Drip System and 2 English Muffins with Blueberry Marmalade. I gathered-up the paperwork and RMA mailing labels I'd printed for Becky yesterday, grabbed a bananna, and headed-off to Weis Market at 8:45am, to get some things, before going over to visit Dad and her. There were electric garage door problems, and a furnace needing a Winter

check-up, so we got on those, right away. Always on a freaking Friday, aren't they? I left at 11am, and headed home to rake leaves from my front porch/walk/driveway into the yard, so the lawn clean-up people could deal with them. I worked on spackling some wall spots, sanding and painting, getting ready for a complete repaint and re-carpet/re-flooring job, within the next 10-12mos.

For lunch, I finished-off the last egg salad into a nice Egg Salad Sandwich, had a ton of leftover fries from yesterday's Five Guys' burgers/fries meal, courtesy of Becky, and went out for a short hour's walk. Dad had given me a small pile of paperwork to file in the old GC&N's 2011 Donations files, so I had to find those files on the basement shelves' corporate file boxes and get them into the right sleeves. I loaded more mags while I was down there, while listening to Rush, in the background. Afterward, I came up to take a 2-hr snooze on the LR couch, until 5:45pm, when the usual Mark Levin Show, came on from 6-9pm. I packed-it-in for the night, around 9:30. I had some trips to Southern York County in the morning, and wanted to sleep as late as I could.

I was up at 5:30 on Saturday morning, 41°F outside, warmed-up the Condo, made the usual OJ, coffee and had a bowl of Honey Smacks, for a change. I scanned the weather and news sites, checked email and my "to-do list"

for the day. A t-storm had just passed thru the area, so it was still drizzling as the stormfront moved east into NJ. I had to meet a friend down in Stewartstown, at 11am, so I took my Bushmaster AR-15 A3 Carbine, a Satchel Bag of 25 loaded 30, 40 and 60-round 5.56mm/.223cal mags along, my Kimber sidearm (natch) with 10 extra mags and ammo, and some 15 old silhouette targets. We spent several hours shooting at the old GC&N's Range, and I zeroed-in the new Viridian Green Laser with the Trijicon ACOG TA01 Scope, at 100yds. Back home by 4pm, I spent a few hours cleaning the AR-15, and by 5:15pm, it was dark. I made a quick Turkey Club w/ Fries, relaxed, grabbed a shower, and went to sleep around 10:30pm. I needed to go food shopping in the morning, drive over to Dad's to visit, and get some laundry done.

I slept like a stone until 6:30 on Sunday morning – my "Circadian Rythmn" must be reorganizing for the better – and felt rested, pain-free and actually good when I finally rolled-out at 7am. I had OJ, coffee, Arnold 12 Grain Bread with Apricot Preserves, checked the weather, news sites and email. A thin line of

t-storms/coldfront was headed right at us from the west and southwest, as usual, with much more severe Midwest (IL, IN, OH, WI, MI etc) weather (tornadoes, severe t-storms etc) following all day Sunday there, and thru Monday in Western PA. I did a final check on my food shopping list and left for Weis Market, at 9am. I was thru in 15-20 minutes, drove over to Dad's and wound-up raking-off some of the huge amount of straw to rake-off the new grass seedlings, and mow the seedlings. The purpose of raking-off the straw/leaves now, is to get the ground dried-out and new seedlings mowed ONCE before Winter sets-in, so the seedlings aren't killed by early frost and cold. Ideally, two mowings would be best, but one On the morning's trip, I saw that gas/diesel prices at the pump, had dropped 2¢/gal, since Friday, November 1st: Unleaded Regular (87 oct) is now at $3.19/gal, Unleaded Premium (89oct) is at $3.29/gal, Premium (93 oct) is at $3.49/gal, with Diesel Fuel/Kerosene K-2 also falling to $3.79/gal, at most stations, in the York (PA) area. works just fine. It'll be lush, thick and green in the Spring if it's done that way. While Dad was using his electric leaf blower, Becky and I left so I could show her where Lowe's was located, and then drove to Home Depot to also show her where it was, and for me to get a frosted, artificial Door Wreath & brass hangar. She had shopping to do, grabbed a cart and we split-up. I got the wreath and was home by 2:30pm, made some quick Chicken Marsala and a bowl of Lentil Soup, for a late lunch. The neighbors were busy putting-up Christmas lights and holiday displays – some quite elaborate and amazing – and spent the rest of the afternoon loading more mags, doing paperwork, getting some envelopes (MS-Office/ Word 2007)

printed to pay bills with checks (yes, I still do those archaric things), and listening to Gun Talk streaming live. The "Gun Talk" KIDO 580am Live Stream came on, from 8-11pm; I also followed it on a Conservative forum's thread. By 11:15pm, the stormfront had begun to impact the areas just west of York, and I decided to close-down and got to bed. The multiple twisters' damage in the Midwest looked horrible.

By the time I'd woke at 6am on Monday, the bulk of the viscious Midwest t-storms had passed thru the area and were headed out to sea. I made coffee, OJ and some Arnold 12 Grain Bread Toast with Red Raspberry Preserves, checked the weather and news sites, downloaded email and went back to the weather sites. Other than ¼" of rain (Condo rain gauge) and a lot of wind, we suffered nothing appreciable in damage. The massive Appalachian Mountains usually buffer most storms coming from the west and southwest, unless they're really massive. It was already 56°F, although the cold front, which spawned the tornadoes and storms, passed thru right behind the stormfront. We had a mild day in-store for us. I grabbed a shower, started 2 loads of laundry, and checked my days' list

of things needing to get done before the plumber arrives tomorrow at 7am, to work on the Master Bath's sink leak. I went out for a 3-hr walk around the local park and over into The Galleria Mall's property, and did a few walking laps around their many acres. By 3:45pm, I was getting tired, headed home, took care of the laundry, and remade the bed. I made a Chicken Salad Sandwich on Croissant w/ Chips, for a late lunch, listened to the the morning's missed Chris Plante Show Podcast, and the usual Mark Levin Show, from 6-9pm. I stayed-up for another hour or so, to listen to some of The Michael Savage Show, but finally called-it-a-day, at 10pm.

Forgetting that Randy, my plumber from RE Sanders Co, would be here at 7am, I rolled over at 5am, and went back to sleep on Tuesday morning until 6am. So I had to hurry to get a quick carafe of coffee, OJ and toast, dressed and the Master Bathroom sink cabinets emptied. RE Sanders Co did all of our water well work and much of the plumbing at the GC&N Complex, over our 22 years of business and service. He found the shower leak and replaced the sink hardware, by 11:15am. I called Arthur to come over to Dad's at 10am on Friday, to help me with some projects. I'm also meeting the fomer realtor tomorrow at 2pm to sign some more documents toward the GC&N's sale. And I have to pick-up Matt from Spartan Computers at 1pm on Friday, to go to S&D Automotive, to get their puzzling connectivity problems solved. It was a cold 41°F outside, so I stayed in for the afternoon, doing computer work.

I had a Olive Loaf Sandwich and a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch. I baked-off 6 Chicken Cordon Bleu and a saucepan of fresh-made Classic Hollandaise Sauce, to split with Dad & Becky. By 4:45pm, it was getting dark, and as the oven was cooling down and warming-up the Condo, I worked on some "chores". My cleaning ladies called and asked if they could come on Monday, instead of Tuesday, because of the Thanksgiving Holiday. I listened to the Mark Levin Show, from 6-9pm; the Michael Savage Show from 9-11pm, and part of the morning's Chris Plante Show again, until 12:15am. Then, I closed-down for the night and vowed to sleep-in tomorrow morning, as late as I could.

50 years ago this week, Bell Telephone offered touch button phone dialing, instead of the rotary dialing we'd had for all those previous years; I remember it. It's also 50 years this week since JFK was assassinated – not by Oswald alone, IMO – but by much more sinister forces, still in-play today, and stronger than ever. I remember hearing the high school's PA-system announcement at 1:30pm EST, and that we all were sent home to be with our Families, for that sorrowful, national weekend. I had just received my Eagle Scout Rank, just 2 days before JFK was assassinated.

I slept-in until 7:30 on Wednesday morning, a bitter 23°F outside, cranked-up the Condo heat, made OJ, coffee and toast with Apricot preserves. I called Arthur and had him reschedule the raking/mowing to tomorrow, since rain was coming on Friday and Saturday. The ground just isn't drying-out anymore in these cold temps; The mowing must get done asap. The new grass had grown-in nicely, after we raked-off all the straw and leaves, and needed mowing. I packed-up several Chicken Cordon Bleu in Hollandaise Sauce, and took them over to Dad and Becky, around 9:30am.

I didn't stay long, since I had some errands to run, they were busy with projects and I'd be back over at 2pm to meet with my former realtor. I left, did the errands and was home by 11am to catch the last hour of the Chris Plante Show. I listened to Rush for 2hrs, and then I headed back over to Dad's to meet with Terry at 2:15pm, signed some documents, and came back home by 4:30, as it was getting dusk. Putting the Jeep in the garage for the night, I lit the front door's Christmas Wreath, and spent 45mins looking for a 1990 folder prepared by my Land Development Engineering Co, for the new potential buyers. I found it and will copy it tomorrow. By 6pm, the Mark Levin Show came on until 9pm, and then the Michael Savage Show was on from 9-11pm. I have to meet Arthur at 10am at Dad's to get straw/leaf raking and new-seedling mowing done, and then I have a relatively-free afternoon. I closed-down at 11:45pm.

I overslept on Thursday morning; 8:15am and I had to be over at Dad's to meet Arthur at 10. I made OJ, coffee and checked the weather and news sites. Good thing I moved the mowing day from Friday to today, as the stormfront was already moving into Western PA, and with even colder weather coming, it'd never dry-out enough to get the new seedlings mowed once before Winter sets-in. I may be dumb, but I'm not stupid; I knew the weather would "move-up", as it'd always done on jobs, from my 22yrs of scheduling at my old GC&N business' landscape contracting. The Midwest and Plains were full of rain and snow, and it was all moving east, more quickly than forecasted. I skipped breakfast and hurried to get the Jeep loaded, and left at 9:30am. I had to make copies of the original 1990 Septic System

Study, for the realtor and his new potential clients, and did that quickly. Arthur arrived at 10 with his walk-behind gas mower, while Dad and I raked and re-raked and carried the straw and leaves on a tarp, over to piles in the cul-de-sac's edges, for the city's pick-up. Even though the straw extended down the sideyard and into a newly-seeded large area in the backyard, I decided to stop at the lower edge of the frontyard, since the other areas just weren't ready to be uncovered until Spring. They'd been re-seeded several weeks after the front walk and driveway areas, and needed the straw and leaves for Winter protection. It'll be important to get that stuff raked-off quickly in early-mid-April, so the Spring warm sun and air can acelerate the seedlings' growth. Everything completed, I left at 11:30am, made a couple of stops, and unloaded the Jeep after garaging it. For lunch, I made a Chicken Salad Sandwich on Wheat Toast, Deviled Eggs, and a bowl of Celery & Potato Soup. I slept for a few hours until dark, tired from the morning's work. By 6pm, the Mark Levin Show came on until 9pm, and then the Michael Savage Show was on from 9-11pm.

Tomorrow starts a new week here in the "Journal", and it'll be busy with Dad & Becky coming for Thanksgiving Day Dinner and several special side dishes. I have a lot of prep work to get it all done, plus I'm sure other things will pop-up for the calendar. I have a "to-do-list" of things to get done, which I'll work-in along with the bigger stuff. Are you truly ready for when, not if, TSHTF (The Shit Hits The Fan). And a lot of my "Journal" Readers have emailed and called me to discuss what preparations they should take for that "coming awful event". Believe me, "it" IS coming. Based upon what's happening around the world and here in the US, I have a terrible, terrible *gut feeling* that TSWHTF (The Shit Will Hit The Fan), sometime in 2014. Don't ask why; I just do.

First, Israel is preparing for war, after being attacked for years on many fronts, and not fighting back as she should have. This war will truly have "Biblical implications" around the world. The Middle East is rapidly-collapsing under the subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic riots (muslim Brotherhood) and rule ("arab Spring"), with world crude oil prices projected to hit $200+/bbl, or even higher into the $300-$400 range,

Europe is on the verge of insolvency and collapse, no thanks in great part to Germany, teetering-and-tottering Asia and South America will quickly-follow, then comes the downfall of Canada, and The USA won't be far behind, in late 2012 and into 2013. Watch this video; be sure you're sitting-down, and don't have any food or liquid in your mouth upon which to choke.

"Last week, President Barack Obama delivered some telling remarks to a fire station full of people in Roanoke, Virginia. I'll save you the trouble of reading the (long and uninspired) speech and provide you with the most interesting part:

"If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." – President Barack Obama, July 13th, 2012.

It would be easy to respond with something along the lines of, "Somebody else made that happen? Who? Who magically imagined the product or service, started the business, built it up, and created the jobs? Who was it? The tooth fairy?" And to some extent, President Obama's statement is so ridiculous as to merit that sort of quick, flippant response.

However, he's not entirely wrong. This reminds me of an argument that Massachusetts Senate Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren would probably make. If he's talking about a mid-sized or large business, where an entrepreneur has hired additional employees, then at that point the business's success isn't purely that of its founder.

Employees add value to a business through work and ideas. That's why you hire employees, after all. Steve Jobs didn't invent every last detail of the phones, computers, and tablets to come out of Apple over the last decade. There were engineers working on those products who developed them. So, employees help entrepreneurs to build their business. "Somebody else" did indeed play a part in making that happen.

But what makes the president's remarks so inane is the totality of what he's saying. He's not saying that entrepreneurs and employees work together to build a business. It's not a collaborative effort. It's all thanks to the employees. Usually, I can understand the way the president's mind works on most issues by examining it through a pragmatic, liberal, or progressive framework. This one baffles me.

As I explained, I can see that he has some of a point, but he's still just obviously wrong on the broader point. Sure, the employees help to build the business, but the business itself wouldn't exist without the entrepreneur. So, to say to entrepreneurs and to business owners, "...you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen," is just wrong. It's silly. They did build that by setting the foundation for the business.

Entrepreneurs are almost always the hardest workers in their business. They work a simply insane number of hours to get their idea off the ground. If they succeed (and they face a tremendous risk if they don't), then they'll start to grow and to hire employees to help. Honestly, if I were an entrepreneur and I read those remarks by the president, I would be furious. It's a tremendous insult to the true job-creators in America, entrepreneurs.

In the context of a long, somewhat rambling campaign speech that touched on every issue under the sun, it may seem as though I'm over-exaggerating the importance of a minor thing he said. But President Obama isn't a stupid man, or even one who makes off-the-cuff remarks he doesn't really mean. He's a very smart man, and he meant what he said.

When the most important issues for most Americans are economic growth and job creation, I believe it's essential to know exactly where both candidates stand on the importance of entrepreneurs. Yesterday, we learned that President Obama believes that entrepreneurs don't build businesses. Ultimately, they're irrelevant. Take that for what you will." ©Principles and Policy, July 14, 2012

Some People Just Need Killing

It's not my intentions to be the judge here — that's God's "job" — but rather to "hasten the meeting" so that He can send the following subhuman filth to the "Fires of Hell", "River or Lake of Sulphur", or whatever He deems appropriate.
