You know, the kind of place where the media doesn’t report the news, they instead decide what news you should be allowed to hear.
The Mainstream media determines the headlines. And since 99.9% of the people who run the media are either liberal Democrats, or crony capitalists in bed with the DC swamp, they purposely choose headlines to confuse you, distract you, or sadly, outright mislead you. That’s called fraud.
Case in point. What have you heard about for a solid week? A small KKK protest in Charlottesville. And then this past Friday a quick interruption for Steve Bannon's firing.
But isn't news about jobs and the economy dramatically improving under President Trump much more important to the average American?
Under President Obama we had the eight worst GDP (Gross Domestic Product) years in the history of America. Our GDP was under 3% for all eight years of Obama. That’s never happened since the day our country was founded in 1776.
And during the 1930’s (the entire decade of The Great Depression) our combined GDP for the decade was 1.3%. Guess what our combined GDP was for eight years under Obama?
1.3%. We just lived through an "Obama Great Depression." Except this time the media never reported it to the people.
Barack Obama destroyed the US economy and killed the entire American middle class with his obsession with social justice, green energy, open borders, big taxes, big regulations, Obamacare and big government.
Yet the media said nothing. They never reported all this. Instead, the media used the words “in recovery” thousands of times during Obama’s eight years. How could the eight worst years since 1776 be called “a recovery?” It’s all about what headlines the media chooses.
This was a massive cover-up of the failure of Obama’s policies.
Obama was a dream killer. A curse. He was Freddie Kruger.
If Obama’s economy was a movie, it would be “Night of the Living Dead.”
But this week the Atlanta Fed reported something remarkable. They predict the 3rd Quarter GDP of America will be 3.7%. That’s explosive growth. That’s like the Reagan years.
President Trump has changed everything in only seven months. Just by cutting a bunch of regulations and giving entrepreneurs, risk-takers, CEOs and small business owners “hope,” President Trump has brought us back from the dead.
Donald Trump is a magician. He proved that with the right attitude towards business, you can erase eight years of disaster and failure and misery, in record time.
But has this been a headline in the news? NO. It’s nowhere to be found.
But it’s not just GDP. Corporate earnings are setting records, job growth is phenomenal, there are more manufacturing jobs than at any time since before Obama took office, border crossings are dramatically down, and food stamp use is down by 1.3 million. Trump accomplished all of this in only seven months.
Has any of this been in the headlines? NO. It’s nowhere to be found.
Instead we are fed a steady diet of one protest-gone-bad in Charlottesville. And Donald Trump’s views on white extremism, the KKK and Neo Nazis.

On the same weekend as the one heinous protest and tragic murder in Charlottesville, we had 9 murders and 33 shot on the streets of Chicago. This happens every weekend in Chicago- a city run 100% by Democrats for the past half century..
Did you see that in the headlines? No.
Why was one tragic murder at a protest in Charlottesville far more important than nonstop mayhem and murder on the streets of Obama's hometown of Chicago every single week, 52 weeks a year?
At the same time, Debbie Wasserman Shultz is involved in what might be the biggest scandal in political history- allegedly involving bank fraud, extortion vs. 30 Democrat Congressmen, possible funding of terrorism with taxpayer money, espionage, a gigantic breach of national security, and the sale of state secrets to foreign enemies of America.
Not in the headlines.
At the same time, the FBI has re-opened the investigation into the meeting on the airport tarmac between Attorney General Lynch and Bill Clinton.
Not in the headlines.
At the same time, Julian Assange and Kim DotCom of Wikileaks claim they have news that will shock the nation over the DNC leaks, Seth Rich’s murder and Robert Mueller’s entire case against President Trump. Again, no headlines in the media.
It kind of makes you wonder...

A Day In The Life
All day Thursday and part of Friday, I had the worst of the "faux-flu", from Wednesday's 2 shots, drenched in sweat, until Friday morning. All I could seem to do was stay-put at home, endure the sweats and chills, drink lots of water, sleep if I could, even though I had a small "to-do" list, which would just have to wait.
There was a massive screw-up with one of my two realtors, and the prospective buyers on my old GC& N 20-ac property, and I'm still trying to track it all down, but without original date/time stamps, it's almost impossible. By the time I'd found out that it happened – Friday 6pm – it was too late to do anything and get the process back on track.
Up at 9:30 on Saturday morning, I made some of the French House Gourmet Coffee, (I use blended Half & Half/milk to get each coffee's true flavor), made a bowl of Shredded Wheat w/ Blueberries, and thought about what to do about the Jeep's once-again, non-functioning AC system, right in the middle of Summer. Swell. Luckily, it was in the low-70s, no humidity, and more like Fall than Summer. I needed to get to Contino's Shoes & Repair, south of me in Dallastown, to get some more notches in my leather belt. I'd found some 15-16 pair of 36" x 29" Lee® Jeans, from 2012-13, and they fit nicely, now. Dad stopped by and gave me a lift. Because of my minor balance problem, I'm still not able to safely drive the Jeep, with 100% confidence, for extended periods.
Becky stopped-by with some groceries and a visit, but by 3pm, I was tiring fast. My stamina, strength and endurance are AWOL, since 30-plus days in the York Hospital. I emailed my personal/corporate attorney for a property sale update, watched some new episodes of History Channel's amazing series, Ancient Aliens, and pulled the plug at 10pm.
It had been raining for most of the day, with the outer rain bands of Hurricane Harvey touching us and everything from Texas thru the Midwest into the Northeast, and would continue for the next 3-5 days, non-stop. As dry as it's been for the Summer weeks, our ground has had no problem absorbing the rainfall. The Gulf States' ground is a whole different story, though. I have neighbors and friends who are glued to their TV sets, watching everything they can get about Harvey, whereas I periodically just get some updates. Many have family living in that area, and I can understand their concern. The friends I have in the Texas area are mostly Dallas and north, so they're not seriously affected as the Houstonians are.
Instead of setting-up the computer to record the F-1 Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps, to auto-record on Sunday morning, and let me sleep until noon, I got up at 7:30am to watch it live. Big mistake. After a long, hot shower, I started 3 loads of laundry, and get some small condo chores done. By early afternoon, I was feeling sick with stomach pain, had the laundry and chores done, and laid down on the LR couch for just a "short rest". 6hrs later, I woke to Vegas Rat Rods, and finished-out the evening until 9:30, and went upstairs to bed.
Awake and up at 6:30am on Monday, I made coffee, had some OJ, eggs and toast, a bottle of Ensure, and promptly threw it all back up. And my BP readings were off-the-chart, possibly due to the 21mg nicotine patches I've been using for the past weeks. Swell. I have a dr's app't on Thursday, so I'll deal with it then, unless it becomes more serious between now and then. I've just stopped using them for now, to see if that makes any difference. The "walk & talk" I wanted to have with my dear friend, Sherry, will just have to wait until this is resolved.
Around 4pm, I got the mail and went for a short walk to get some fresh air. The rain continued. I now had a new pile of mail to open and sort, paperwork to do, and when I started feeling sick again, stopped, laid down on the LR couch, and snoozed-off. By 10:30pm, it was "lights out" at my address.
Awake at 9:30am on Tuesday, I made coffee, had some V8 and a single piece of toast. After throwing-up yesterday's breakfast, I wanted to avoid that happening again, at all costs. Becky stopped by with stuff from a grocery shopping list, and then Karen, my Bennett-Williams realtor stopped by, with a new contract my attorney had drawn-up for the potential Buyers, which also needed signing; the Buyers had already signed it. This new and more stringent contract should help the Buyers avoid missing anymore closing dates, and it raised the escrow deposit well above $25k, and forfeiture is 100% in my favor.
I kept checking-in with Fox News Business and Weather Channels, to see the markets' latest action and how the cost of gas is being affected by Harvey closing down 16% of US refinery capacity, with so many refineries located in the Gulf. And of course the weather forecasts. There were some good CATV shows on from History and Discovery Channels, so I busied myself channel-flipping with them, until I began to fall asleep and went upstairs to bed, around 11:30pm. At least the nausea is gone for now. Lights out.
I got-up at 9:15 on Wednesday, had some OJ, coffee and Cream of Wheat. While running a few errands, I started to feel nauseous again, cut the trip short and came home. Wrapped in the afghan blanket, I fell asleep on the LR couch, while listening to the live (9-12) stream of the Chris Plante Show. Tomorrow is my app't with my Cardiac Surgeon, who did the stent work a few weeks ago, and I'll have a chance to see the pics taken inside my heart's occluded arteries and veins. I watched some new CATV series' episodes, and quit at 11pm.
After breakfast and lots of coffee, Becky stopped by to get me to my now-10:30am app't, moved-up from 12noon by the Apple Hill Medical Center's Cardiology Scheduling Dept-From-Hell, and we left. NOTE: I can drive, but I take Becky along for her medical expertise and knowledge, to help "translate", and in case I have to me a decision, she's there to advise me. The Cardiac Surgeon dr who did my stent work was our primary meet, and he showed me recordings of the heart's veins/arteries before/after the 5 stents were meticulously placed and activated. Fascinating and life-saving stuff. As I've done with the drs, nurses, techs etc who were involved in my cardiac and pancreatic care, I thanked him for saving my life.
After finding a date error on my monthly calendar. I spent almost 2½-hrs going thru paperwork and files to re-confirm those dates logg-in and posted, while watching Rancher, Farmer, Fisherman until 11:30pm, then called it a day. No appointments tomorrow, so I'm going to try to sleep-in as late as I can.
Conundrum.
The very definition of the word conundrum is "something that is puzzling or confusing". Here are six conundrums today, in the US:
1. America is capitalist and greedy - yet half of the population is subsidized.
2. Half of the population is subsidized - yet they think they are victims.
3. They think they are victims - yet their representatives run the government.
4. Their representatives run the government - yet the poor keep getting poorer.
5. The poor keep getting poorer - yet they have things that people in other countries only dream about.
6. They have things that people in other countries only dream about - yet they want America to be more like those other countries.
Think about it. That pretty much sums up the USA in the 21st century. Kind of makes you wonder who is doing the math.
These three, short sentences tell you a lot about the direction of our current government and cultural environment:
1. We are advised to NOT judge ALL muslims by the actions of a few lunatics, but we are encouraged to judge ALL gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics. Funny how that works. And here's another one worth considering...
2. Seems we constantly hear about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come we never hear about welfare or food stamps running out of money? What's interesting is the first group "worked for" their money, but the second didn't. Think about it. And last but not least...
3. Why are we cutting benefits for our veterans, no pay raises for our military and cutting our army to a level lower than before WWII, but we are not stopping the payments or benefits to all illegal aliens?
Am I the only one missing something?

Obama: "Entrepreneurs Don't Build Businesses"
"Last week, President Barack Obama delivered some telling remarks to a fire station full of people in Roanoke, Virginia. I'll save you the trouble of reading the (long and uninspired) speech and provide you with the most interesting part:
"If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." – President Barack Obama, July 13th, 2012.
It would be easy to respond with something along the lines of, "Somebody else made that happen? Who? Who magically imagined the product or service, started the business, built it up, and created the jobs? Who was it? The tooth fairy?" And to some extent, President Obama's statement is so ridiculous as to merit that sort of quick, flippant response.

However, he's not entirely wrong. This reminds me of an argument that Massachusetts Senate demokkkRATic candidate Elizabeth Warren would probably make. If he's talking about a mid-sized or large business, where an entrepreneur has hired additional employees, then at that point the business's success isn't purely that of its founder.
Employees add value to a business through work and ideas. That's why you hire employees, after all. Steve Jobs didn't invent every last detail of the phones, computers, and tablets to come out of Apple over the last decade. There were engineers working on those products who developed them. So, employees help entrepreneurs to build their business. "Somebody else" did indeed play a part in making that happen.
But what makes the president's remarks so inane is the totality of what he's saying. He's not saying that entrepreneurs and employees work together to build a business. It's not a collaborative effort. It's all thanks to the employees. Usually, I can understand the way the president's mind works on most issues by examining it through a pragmatic, liberal, or progressive framework. This one baffles me.
As I explained, I can see that he has some of a point, but he's still just obviously wrong on the broader point. Sure, the employees help to build the business, but the business itself wouldn't exist without the entrepreneur. So, to say to entrepreneurs and to business owners, "...you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen," is just wrong. It's silly. They did build that by setting the foundation for the business.
Entrepreneurs are almost always the hardest workers in their business. They work a simply insane number of hours to get their idea off the ground. If they succeed (and they face a tremendous risk if they don't), then they'll start to grow and to hire employees to help. Honestly, if I were an entrepreneur and I read those remarks by the president, I would be furious. It's a tremendous insult to the true job-creators in America, entrepreneurs.
In the context of a long, somewhat rambling campaign speech that touched on every issue under the sun, it may seem as though I'm over-exaggerating the importance of a minor thing he said. But President Obama isn't a stupid man, or even one who makes off-the-cuff remarks he doesn't really mean. He's a very smart man, and he meant what he said.
When the most important issues for most Americans are economic growth and job creation, I believe it's essential to know exactly where both candidates stand on the importance of entrepreneurs. The reason for the freak figures was that scores of temperature records from Russia and elsewhere were not based on October readings at all.
