Almost as suddenly as it started, it's stopped. The SoBig.F@mm worm, which bombarded my computers with infected emails from other users, is quiet. The firewall isn't going crazy, anymore. E-magazines aren't screaming about virus updates, and posters to news forums have dropped the topic, alltogether. My home and office units were wholly unaffected; Dad's home machine appears to have a power supply problem, and we're taking it in for service this week. However, a major DOS (denial of service) attack occurred on Tuesday, against some large ISPs, and was over quickly, also.
