It was a quiet Easter Weekend for me, as we're still on Winter Hours, but we switched over to Spring-Summer-Fall Hours on Monday, and will be open again on Sunday afternoons. I slept-in until about 10am, went down to the GC&N Complex to feed Pickle, then over to Mom & Dad's to have Easter Sunday Dinner with them and Becky.
Becky got the "24hr flu" on Saturday, Dad on Sunday, I on Monday and Mom on Tuesday. All in all, it was a crappy weekend and week for The Shelleys. Yeeeeeeeeeeewwwwww; it was an awful 48hrs!
It's been a long two weeks getting this 20ac complex ready for the 15th Open House, but we've done it. All is ready for tomorrow's festivities. Many physical changes were made to the grounds' layout, and we've got a full house of unusual, rare and hard-to-find nursery stock, Japanese Maples, perennials and other speciality plant material. I expect 1,500+ people through, and if I find some time to shoot some pics, I'll post them next week.
