men are going to strike back
friday, february 13th, 2026
There’s a clip going around where some obnoxious woman decides that a guy walking out of a Quik-i-Mart is a nice guy and she takes it upon herself, being the heroine and the main character of the epic saga that is her life, to knock his cup of coffee from his hands. He’s a fairly big guy, fit, and he doesn’t lay her out across the parking lot with a right cross. It’s not that she doesn’t deserve it – she does. It’s that he is still defaulting to the male role in a chivalry system that no longer exists. This dumb woman is relying on the very guardrails she has bulldozed; she’s going to try it again, and this time she’s going to lose a bunch of teeth.
Oh well.

It’s no surprise to anybody who is paying attention that the complex system that governed the relationship of men and women throughout the ages has been disrupted in the last 50 years. Two Helens have recently made a splash talking about this. Helen Andrews gave a powerful speech at last year’s Nat Con that got a lot of attention about the feminization of culture. More recently, Helen Smith, a.k.a. Mrs. @Instapundit, just published her important new book His Side, which commits the revolutionary act of asking men what they think about the current war on the unfair sex. We people with penises are not supposed to talk about any of this stuff. We’re not supposed to talk about how society has changed, for the worse, by the domination of feminine values over our institutions, institutions that were built to greatness through masculine values.
If you don’t know the difference between masculine and feminine values, I can’t really help you. You’ve bought into the gender-same lie. But when you see our institutions failing, having taken themselves off-mission and instead refocused on emotionality and the prioritization of feelings, that’s a big part of the cause of their downfall. And it’s no surprise that women have veered sharply to the left, the left’s priorities being the opposite of masculinity. Most of us remember that Simpsons episode where Lisa escapes a girl’s math class after the teacher (who comes off as one of those harridans shrieking at ICE heroes) asked the girls how the numbers make her feel; that’s pretty much all of society now.
This isn’t to say that women and femininity are bad. They aren’t. They are a part of humanity. But so are men and masculinity; the problem is the dedicated campaign to stamp out the male part. The sexes combine to create a functional society of human beings, the yin and yang, if you will. You need both, in proper proportion. Disrupt that balance and you get, well, this current mess.
Somewhere along the way, some women decided masculinity is bad, and some men played along with this nonsense. Today, if you’re tough, aggressive, and don’t take guff from half-wits, or if you are aggressively heterosexual, you are toxically masculine. It’s possible to be a jerk in a distinctly male way; again, the problem is too much, or a perverted practice of the thing. Again, you need both sexes, properly understood. This is why you have a man and a woman, the two parts of humanity that come together and create a functioning society.
But we stopped doing that. As Helen Andrews observed, our society has gone way too far in the feminine direction, which is a problem because hostile societies have maintained their traditional, masculine focus when it comes to the areas of business and conflict. When you get a bunch of soft men, and they come up against hard men, the hard men win. This is why the most popular birth name in Europe is “Mohammed.” See, we have to help, so out rolls the welcome mat to people who hate us. It feels so good to be so nurturing, right? Resist? That’s mean. The impotent euro-eunuchs, whose great-grandfathers once conquered the world, cannot be bothered to either breed or defend their inheritance from people who do nothing but breed and take other people‘s inheritance.
Masculinity is about creation and destruction. Men build, and men destroy. Both things are important, including destruction. This needs to be explained to those who are soft and don’t understand, or are unwilling to accept, the occasional necessity of it. And when I say “creation,” I mean building things – bridges, pipelines, aircraft carriers, rockets to the moon. That’s the domain of men. I do not mean some teenage girl scribbling away breathlessly about her feelings in her pink dream journal. That’s the domain of women.
The fact is that men and women are different, something there’s been a concerted effort to not merely ignore but to overthrow by informal social coercion and the force of law. Oddly, it’s the feminine side that propels this campaign. If you track back the roots of the worst cultural trends of the last century, they all originate in a perversion of the feminine. For example, the greatest advocates of bizarre transsexual deviance are not men, though a significant number of men go along either passively or actively – they probably think they’re going to score if they show their tolerance bona fides. It’s women who are driving this big rig, the only kind of big rig women drive as a rule. It’s the women who decide that young Billy is really Susie and schlep over to the local butcher in her minivan. The invertebrate dad just sort of nods along. It’s the women pushing for men in women’s locker rooms, ironically. Imagine it getting traction if men had been at the forefront of the “Let us leer at you in the shower” movement. It would have never started, and if women right now said, “No,” this would end overnight. But for some reason that real men can’t fathom – maybe it’s the Chardonnay, maybe it’s the SSRIs, maybe it’s the dissatisfaction that comes with having leftist partners who can’t satisfy them –women as a whole refuse to reject this nonsense. And so it persists.
Orwell was right when he pointed out that women are the most eager to enforce the left’s ideologies. They’re the ones taking the lead to keep illegal alien criminals here – someone else can explore the deeply psycho-sexual underpinnings of the total dedication of affluent white ladies to keeping brutal Third World rapists here among them. Regardless, it is largely (and, often, large) women screaming obscenities at the heroes of ICE who are tossing out the Third World perverts that these women drool over.
Sadly, the same broken creatures have hijacked the institutions. Take the schools, please. It’s women who run the education system and turn campuses into conformity factories. Gone are the male role models that those of us from Gen X had. My old PE teacher, Stan Bingham – whose head was so riddled with skin cancer we called him “The Lizard” – probably fought it out at Pork Chop Hill, judging from the way he treated us. And we dug him.
As Helen Smith shows, men are undervalued, under-appreciated, and under fire. They are the worst, they are told, and when they react as rational beings to the incentives they face, the calumny only increases. Take the Great Opt-Out. Where are all the good men? Well, a lot of men who would’ve been good men are sitting at home on their couches, playing video games, smoking weed, and making wild, passionate love to their internet browsers. It’s gross, but what does it say about women that so many men have decided that kind of pathetic existence is preferable to being with girls?
There are a lot of good, conservative women out there and good, conservative men who have their heads on straight and who are out there building lives and families. But there are a lot of casualties from the gender wars. Many of these misguided women expect men to fulfill the role men used to play in the system that used to exist, but those women don’t want to fulfill the role they used to play in the system that used to exist. They want a man like their old-school dad, but they don’t want to act like their old-school mom.
Systems only function if all the parts work as designed. You can’t refuse to do your part in a system and expect it to keep functioning. When you change your input, you alter the output. Which brings us back to the Quik-i-Mart parking lot. Part of the system of chivalry that kept men from using their superior physical strength – yes, men are overwhelmingly physically stronger than women – against women is that women did not initiate physical threats against men. When a conflict arises, a normal man is not going to beat the hell out of you if you are a woman because he’ll probably hurt you out of proportion to your ability to hurt him, but your part of the bargain is not to make that conflict physical. Yet, what that dumb woman did with the guy’s coffee cup breached that unspoken agreement. She changed the rules. And she’s lucky that he defaulted to the system that used to exist. But if women keep pushing it, that’s going to stop. And it’s not going to work out well for the women.

A Day In The Life.
Up at 8:00a on Friday, a very cold 13°F, overcast, breezy morning, I upped the heat, made coffee, fired-up the Win-7 Pentium HP Desktop to let its 32 million lines of code load, had breakfast, had a couple smokes in the garage and checked the leftover errands list. I scanned the weather -- light sleet, freezing rain and light snow coming -- and the rapidly-breaking news, tuned into the "CP Show LIVE" at 9, and relaxed for the morning.
The light snow, from the passing squalls, started about 2p, and gave everything here in East York a very light coating, but other areas got next-to-nothing. Bitter cold and howling wind. 3 NWS (National Weather Service) Advisories and Warnings posted for the Susquehanna Valley: ***EXTREME COLD WARNING***, ***DANGEROUS WIND CHILLS*** and ***HIGH WIND WARNING***; OK, I'm staying inside and home. I did some condo chores, watched TV, had lunch, a short 1hr snooze on the LR couch, and closed the place when the sun was setting,
I made dinner, watched the evening news, and switched to Discovery's "Gold Rush" and "Gold Rush: Mine Rescue" until 2a, and unplugged.
Up at 9a on Saturday, a sunny, bitter cold 9°. howling wind -- all the weather idiots are ranting and raving about the -20° to -50° wind chill crappola -- with bitter cold forecast thru tomorrow night. Swell. I made coffee, had a couple smokes in the very cold garage, and scanned the news and weather.
As has been for the past ~6 days, the lead story is the poor 84 year old Nancy Guthrie lady, kidnapped in AZ, and the case status, I first thought this might be cartel-related, but now I'm thinking it's family-related. The SILK or the daughter. Maybe. And I think she might already be dead, wo/ her heart meds. Apparently, the Pima County Sheriff's office bungled the initial investigation and contaminated the crime scene. Popcorn, anyone?
After a leftover Philly Cheese Steak and a plate of Loaded Tater Tots from yesterday's Domino's delivery, I hit the LR couch for a nice 2hr nap, I had the last of the morning's coffee, went outside for a few minutes to get some cold, fresh air, and made dinner. After the evening news, I switched to Discovery's "Expedition Unknown" until 1a. Lights out.
Up at 0-DARK-THIRTY, aka 6a, on Sunday, I upped the heat, made coffee, scanned the weather and news. A nippy 8°, the NWS warnings were still posted on area websites and on TV. Laundry and some minor condo chores took up most of the day, and I called Sherry to get a day for us before both our schedules fill-up. No, I didn't watch the Stupor Bowl. Haven't for 25+ years. By 11:30p, I was in Dad's Ol' über-luxurious leather recliner, watching TV, and I guess I fell asleep, suddenly it was 1:45a. CRAP! I shut down and went upstairs to LA-LA Land.

Up at 9a on Monday, a sunny, clear, very cold 13° morning. Lots of pain, again, as with most mornings and days. After the "CP Show" ended at 12noon, I got ready for the day, and left for my usual Monday 3-stop trip down south of York.
Traffic was very light and I made good time. Back home by 1:45, I unloaded, had lunch and took a Tramadol for the pain. I worked on the stack of paperwork, on my desk until dark set in, closed the condo, had dinner and watched the evening news. Sherry called to reschedule our day together. Same-o, same-o, so I switched to Discovery/MT's "Iron Resurrection" until 11:30. Lights out.
Up at 9a on Tuesday, a cloudy, "balmy" 30° morning, with snow squalls moving thru the area. I fired-up the furnace, made coffee, had a couple smokes in the garage and tuned into the usual "CP Show" from 9-12. I had a couple errands to do, made lunch and grabbed a 2hr nap on the LR couch. After some paperwork -- the pile is now under control -- I watched the 6p evening news -- the Guthrie story dominating everything -- and switched to History's "unXplained" and TWC's "Weather Gone Viral". Lights out at 12 midnight.
Up at 8:15a on Wednesday, a cloudy, windy, 30° morning, with warmer temps forecast for the week. Heck, I'm ready for Spring. I upped the heat, made coffee, fired-up the Ol' HP Desktop, scanned the weather and news, and tuned into the usual "CP Show", from 9-12.
Heh, something weird going on in El Paso, TX, and it's a mystery so far. Is this it? Another school shooting, this time in Canada (BC). IT'S ANOTHER MASS KILLING BY ANOTHER SUBHUMAN TRANNY, with a gun!
Heh, I swapped-out the new power cord on the (relatively) new Canon PIXMA TS202 Inkjet Printer, and it now works. I've never had a simple power cord go 'bad' before. Amazon had them in stock.
Sherry arrived about 1:30p, and we had a wonderful time, as usual, thru the afternoon. She left around 4:45, before dark, and I re-scanned the news, made dinner, and watched the evening news. I switched to History's "unXplained Mysteries" and Discovery's "Expedition X" until 1a; lights out.
OK, I'm officially tired of the Nancy Guthrie Kidnapping, or whatever it is. So much, bungling, incompetence and so many delays in the case. What are we at: 11 or 12 or 13 days, now? This is now *RECOVERY* operation, not a *rescue* operation, anymore. Sadly.
Up at 10a on Thursday, a very windy, cloudy, 30° morning, I upped the heat, made coffee and fired-up the Ol' Desktop, to get weather and news. I skipped breakfast, had a 1p Weis Market delivery, and got a call from Weis Pharmacy, about waiting Rxs. I'll get those tomorrow. I had dinner, watched the news, and switched to Discovery's "Roadworthy Rescues" and History's "Ancient Aliens" until 12 midnight. Lights out.
Tomorrow starts a be week, here in the "Journal", and it's a clear one for me, except for some labs/bloodwork, for a end-of-month Dr's app't. Sherry's got a "full plate", but we'll see if anything opens up for us.
Our Super Bowl Satyricon

In recent years, Americans have known what to expect from our Neronian Super Bowl halftime shows: mediocre music veneered over with gaudy, flashily lit, but ultimately empty and meaningless sets. As seen again this year, the usual array of supporting dancers twerk and simulate intercourse, in sync with the main singer, mindlessly grabbing his/her genitals—apparently to highlight the explicit sexual allusions of mostly nonsensical lyrics. Super Bowl halftime has devolved into a stale Roman bacchanal—gaudy, raunchy, and empty—leaving millions bored, alienated, and wondering who the spectacle is even for anymore. For some strange reason, this Roman orgiastic ritual is supposedly designed by the NFL each year to appeal to American families of all ages as they gather together around the living room TV on their festive cultural holiday. But the script has now grown predictable and trite. This year’s mess jumped the shark and had a force-multiplying boring effect on one of the most tedious Super Bowl games in history. The decision to have Bad Bunny as the main attraction to sing solely in Spanish—only 14 percent of the U.S. population is fluent in Spanish, while 90 percent is proficient in English—was apparently designed to grow the NFL’s global audience, particularly in the Western Hemisphere, or perhaps to shock America to get accustomed to its new official multilingual identity. Yet of the anticipated 60 million Americans who likely watched this flat show, more than 50 million of them could neither read nor comprehend Spanish. And they had previously been insulted by Bunny to hurry up and learn Spanish before the game—or else? How odd that America provides translations of every conceivable language in its courts, hospitals, and schools for minorities of non-English-speaking residents. And yet at its annual signature sporting event, the marquee and main-event non-English speaker would not even provide translations for the vast majority of the viewing population. Part of the hype of Bunny’s appearance was his supposedly edgy decision to perform entirely in Spanish. But was that really so avant-garde? AD What would have been far more against-the-grain and bold for Bad Bunny would have been to find some way to reconnect with the millions of disenchanted families who simply wish a hiatus from the monotonously gross and politicized Super Bowl bacchanalias. Most in the stadium had no idea what Bad Bunny was singing about, if we can call his nonstop talking and mumbling true music. Fortunately for Bunny, that language barrier turned out to be about the only good thing about the entire Sunday disaster. Most of Bunny’s lyrics were raunchy and demented, and likely out-Epsteined the imagination of the late Jeffrey Epstein. In his vile, obscene “Safaera,” to avoid being censored, Bunny omitted a few of the song’s lyrics about his celebration of exploitative sodomy, fellatio, and anilingus—with misogynistic trashing of his compliant female sexual partners as “hoes.” (Do woke intersectional feminists weigh in on the side of Bunny’s DEI credentials and sexual fluidity, or do they bristle at Bunny’s “objectification” of women, as he reduces them to mere mindless receptacles of violent and toxic masculinity?). If Bunny’s purpose was to shock America, then he should have sung his full lyrics of “Safaera” in English, ensuring that his first-time listeners were forced to hear and react to his sick adolescent riffs on breasts, bottoms, phalluses, and vaginas. Bunny had been previously instructed not to repeat his prior performance-art trashing of ICE and to keep his politicking subtle and coded. Translated, that meant the NFL had greenlighted some of his obscene references as long as they were relegated to a Spanish-speaking audience only and toned down a bit. But he was not overtly to alienate over half of the NFL’s viewership, who not long ago had voted to stop illegal immigration and millions crashing the border. Bunny mostly complied, albeit with empty platitudes about hate and love, and reducing the American flag to a status similar to that of the other South and Central American states. Ricky Martin chimed in with his own incoherent Spanish-language harangue about the American rape of paradise in Hawaii (“They want to take my river and my beach too/They want my neighborhood and grandma to leave”). If Martin’s point was the arrival of too many newcomers, then he might have first reflected on the 10-million uninvited illegal aliens who, during the Biden tenure, stormed America’s southern border. A writer for the now-defunct sports section of the Washington Post had earlier and ludicrously boasted that the mostly forgotten Colin Kaepernick—the Dylan Mulvaney of the NFL—would be the most relevant figure at the 2026 Super Bowl. Perhaps he was—if the writer meant by “relevant” the narcissistic Kaepernick’s past popularizing of taking-the-knee during the National Anthem. That antic likely reduced NFL viewership by 25 percent in 2016-2017, and turned Sunday afternoons into racial psychodramas with two race-coded National Anthems. In sum, last Sunday was the same old, same old Super Bowl Satyricon.

'You’re Next, N****r': White Progs in Minneapolis Go Full Ku Klux Klan on Black ICE Agents.

These individuals are driven by strong emotions and a toxic sense of self-righteousness, which has led some to believe they can attack police with impunity—something Renee Good and Alex Pretti learned the hard way—or hurl racist slurs at non-white people. These officers are professionals; they won’t leave the city or be provoked. Instead, you’ll be recognized for revealing the fundamental flaws within white Democrats, a group that has historically been rotten.
Minneapolis has been on fire since Good and Pretti were shot and killed by law enforcement for stupidly trying to impede their operations. They weren’t executed. But the deportations will continue, which means crazed white liberals calling black ICE agents the n-word will also become routine. What sick people—and this isn’t the first time. I didn’t know Candyland had moved north.
?? JUST IN: Yet ANOTHER white leftist is calling black ICE agents “N*GGERS” in Minneapolis, and even threatened his LIFE
— Nick Sortor (@nicksortor) February 5, 2026
“You’re next, N*GGER!”
ONCE AGAIN proving Democrats are the ACTUAL racists.
Freaking disgusting people. pic.twitter.com/M4YANMDJxU
I don’t know what this is, folks. It’s a mess.
“You’re next n****r”—is that a threat, or some cheap historic throwback to when hunting parties were amassed to find escaped slaves? What arrogance you must have to think you’re so right that you have some pass to use the n-word as a white person. It’s not intimidation. It’s lunacy, and we’re all both shocked and chuckling inside. That’s all you got, you weak, pathetic, lonely, blue-haired freaks.
We will all go to bed tomorrow, and ICE will still be in Minneapolis.

The New York Times Thinks That American Taxpayers Are Obligated
To Solve The Personal Problems Of Everyone In The World
I often make fun of the liberal mindset that prescribes that all the personal problems of people in our society can and must be solved by government taxing and spending and the creation of more and more “programs” of one sort and another. As I write on my “About” page:
The central tenet of [the Manhattan] orthodoxy is that all personal problems of the people in society can be solved by government taxing and spending. The obvious corollary is that since all problems can be solved by taxing and spending, therefore they must be solved by taxing and spending, and anyone who stands in the way of those solutions is immoral.
The fundamental difficulty here, as Margaret Thatcher famously quipped, is that pretty soon you “run out of other people’s money.” And that’s when you are only trying to create perfect fairness and justice within your own country. More recently the progressive orthodoxy has morphed to a point where the American taxpayers are now seen as obligated to solve the personal problems of everyone in the world.
Do you think I am exaggerating? Consider if you will the most extreme of possible examples: Afghanistan. Are the American taxpayers obliged to solve the personal problems of the people in that god-forsaken country? If you are wondering, check out this piece from the New York Times on February 4, headline, “In Afghanistan, a Trail of Hunger and Death Behind U.S. Aid Cuts.”
Afghanistan — Isn’t that the country that fought violently and relentlessly for two decades to drive the U.S. out, finally succeeding when the U.S. withdrew in August 2021? We tried to bring 21st century civilization to this violent, tribal society, and they manifestly hated us and wanted nothing to do with us. They killed thousands of our soldiers. Now that we have left, it seems that they find themselves without enough to eat. Could that possibly be our problem? That is the gist of this article. In fact it’s even worse than that, because the article tries to spin the facts to make the reader feel guilty for the alleged suffering of these people. A few excerpts:
The U.S. aid cuts in Afghanistan were as sudden as they were brutal. Even after the U.S. withdrawal and the end of the war in 2021, the United States continued pouring money into Afghanistan. From the 2021 Taliban takeover until last year, Washington had provided nearly $1 billion annually — over a third of all aid flowing into one of the world’s poorest countries.
Did you know that after the disastrous 2021 withdrawal the Biden administration went right ahead and continued to throw a billion a year of American taxpayer money at these people who hate us? And then the bad, bad Trump people imposed the “brutal” cuts.
The [U.S. Agency for International Development’s] programs once helped clear landscapes scarred by war and mines, diversify crops and keep millions from hunger. Four million children are now at risk of dying from malnutrition, according to the World Food Program, the most in a quarter-century.
And it’s not just food but health centers:
Nearly 450 health centers closed because of the cuts, including a tiny white building in the drought-stricken village of Nalej, where Malika Ghullami safely gave birth to two children in past years and was pregnant again with twins last year.
Does it occur to you that the Afghans might have enough to eat if they devoted some effort to growing food instead of opium poppies? Exact figures are not available, but supplying opium to the international drug market is estimated to constitute up to half of the Afghan economy. Somehow this New York Times article never mentions that.
For some more honest information on the Afghan drug-dominated economy, here is a piece from February last year from something called the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime. The gist is that after a half-hearted attempt in 2022 by the Taliban-dominated government to ban the growing of opium poppies, the market has returned to “normal,” with Afghanistan by far the dominant supplier of opium in the world markets. The Global Initiative calls the supposed ban of poppy growing “smoke and mirrors.”
Fieldwork in Afghanistan in 2024 found that the sale of opium continued unabated and had even become more ubiquitous. . . . Contrary to initial predictions, the opium ban has not put an end to the illicit drug trade in Afghanistan. The powerful traffickers who were the main source of funding for the Taliban during the insurgency continued to operate freely. . . . Despite the Taliban’s show of strength, the resurgence of cultivation and the continued trade in illicit drugs are testament to the deep roots and resilience of Afghanistan’s illicit drug economy.
So how about Afghanistan taking some of the multi-billions from the international drug trade and devoting that to buying food or operating health clinics? I’m sorry, but that would be expecting these supposedly “fiercely independent” people to actually take some responsibility for their own lives and their own society. If you think they should, then you are not aware of the fundamental principle that it is the American taxpayer, and only the American taxpayer, who must solve all of their problems.
