Why would any president destroy the U.S. southern border?

The Left typically “pounces” on anyone daring to suggest that the Biden administration had green-lighted illegal immigration to gain new constituents for agendas that otherwise were without broad public support.

The Left smears critics of open borders as racist conspiracists spreading the “Great Replacement Theory.”

Biden’s border chaos wasn’t accidental — it was a political strategy to reshape America’s electorate and expand left-wing power.

Yet for years, Democrats and leftists themselves had written triumphalist books with titles like The Emerging Democratic Majority. And often they crowed that “Demography is Destiny.”

A few left-wing globalists even boasted of a new borderless world, in which anyone could live anywhere he wished.

Not too long ago, Texas State Representative Gene Wu (D-Houston), chair of the Texas House Democratic Caucus, jumped the shark to say out loud what is usually left unsaid about the Democrat agenda:

The day the Latino, African American, Asian, and other communities realize that they share the same oppressor is the day we start winning, because we are the majority in this country now. We have the ability to take over this country and to do what is needed for everyone.

The same unapologetic left-wing weaponization of illegal immigration is occurring in Europe. Sheer numbers there have already radically changed the demography—and political constituencies—of the continent.

Recently, the former Spanish “Minister of Equality,” an energized Irene Montero, offered an unambiguous rant: “I hope for ‘replacement theory.’ I hope we can sweep this country of fascists and racists with immigrants. Whatever their skin color, whether ‘Chinese, Black, or Brown.’”

The culmination of the new hubris in the U.S. was the Biden administration’s destruction of the southern border and enforcement of federal immigration law.

On some days, the Biden influx exceeded anyone’s wildest imagination, at a rate of 10,000 illegal entrants per day. The Homeland “Security” Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, in Baghdad Bob style, occasionally pontificated that the border was “secure”—as thousands in the background illegally swarmed the border, without health or even rudimentary background checks.

The Left’s political agenda for illegal immigration was to be realized either immediately through compromised ballot integrity or soon enough by warping the census-based reapportionment of congressional districts.

No wonder there is now near-hysterical Democratic opposition to even basic national requirements of a photo ID to vote. Yet, traditionally liberal polls like Gallup and Pew show that 83 to 84 percent of Americans support mandatory presentation of a voter photo ID.

Usually, the Left fawns over European protocols. But it now grows quiet when reminded that 46 of 47 European nations, even those governed by the Left, require IDs to vote.

Apparently, Democrats assumed that once 10 million more of the world’s poorest had illegally crossed the southern border, without audit or English proficiency, they would filter throughout American society and become impossible to repatriate.

Soon, open borders would flip more states blue, as well as increase their congressional seats. Illegals were to be redefined as mere “residents” and often recipients of mail-in ballots.

The reality that millions of new poor through their needs would grow the welfare state, expand government at all levels, require far more taxes, and fuel the DEI binary of oppressed/oppressors were added benefits.

The nexus between the nine-billion-dollar Somali welfare fraud and Minnesota Democratic officials offers a sharp reminder of how the immigration/welfare/DEI exemption industry was created and protected by authorities.

Biden’s new 10 million unlawful entrants may have increased the existing pool of illegal aliens (20 million?) to 30 million.

That total, in turn, radically grew the existing group of 20 million legal foreign-born citizens and legal residents of various categories.

So when Trump took office in January 2025, the U.S. had admitted a record high of foreign-born residents. They now made up some 16 percent of the population and perhaps 53 million in actual numbers.

The influxes came at a time when too often the melting-pot tradition of integration, assimilation, and acculturation was reviled and superseded by salad-bowl ethnic chauvinism and separatism.

Yet the triumphant Left never imagined a Trump reelection.

Nor could it grasp fully Trump’s counterrevolutionary effort to secure the border and undo the Biden nihilism.

Even more surreal to Democrats were his efforts to reinstate the integrity and supremacy of federal immigration law.

No one really believed Trump would seek to find and deport millions who had filtered through fifty states. Most were enjoying de facto immunity via hundreds of left-wing lower district court judges and blue-state officials of the Tim Walz/Gavin Newsom sort.

There is only one way that the left would ever oppose a return to legal, measured, and diverse immigration. Namely, if any of its immigrant constituencies in the future—such as the 55 percent of Hispanic males who voted for Trump in 2024—dared to vote on criteria other than federal entitlements, ethnic solidarity, and Democratic coercion.

Do that, and the Left would close the border quickly.

A Day In The Life.

Up at 10a on Friday, a mild, 36°F, overcast, foggy, breezy morning, I upped the heat, made coffee, fired-up the Win-7 Pentium HP Desktop to let its 32 million lines of code load, had breakfast, had a couple smokes in the garage and checked the leftover errands list. I scanned the weather -- 40s and 50s temps setting-in, and a possible snowy Nor'easter on the way -- and the rapidly-breaking news, tuned into the "CP Show LIVE" at 9, and relaxed for the morning. The Weis Market (Enola PA) delivery arrived around 1p, I called Sherry to see how she was doing, and left at 2p for the nearby Weis Market Pharmacy to p/u 2 waiting Rxs. Another 41°, drizzly day.

After 31 years of "The Journal" being uploaded to the server on Thursday evening, for Friday reading, I'm changing the procedure to a Friday evening uploAD, for Saturday viewing's "new week". Just a change of pace for me, that's all.

I had errands to do, garage cleaning while the Jeep was parked outside, with snow almost 85% melted from Spring-like temps. No nap today. After dinner, I watched the evening news, the switched to Discovery's "Gold Rush" and "Gold Rush: Mine Rescue" until 1a. Lights out.

I fired-up the furnace, made coffee, scanned the weather maps and news forecasts (Winter Storm "Hernando"), and checked the coming Nor'easter's progress. The NWS uses two computer models -- the US and the European, with the latter being far more accurate. Half of it's in IL-MO, while the other half is along the East Coast's NC-SC'GA. Hard to tell what'll happen at the point. Actually, we won';t really know until after it's over.

Nowhere to go, nothing to do, and no one to do it with.

The doorbell rang 3x in the afternoon, as GOP-affiliated people went thru the complex, asking for signatures to get some retired Repubs running in the Fall Mid-Terms. I stayed glued to the weather maps all afternoon and into the evening, to track the storm's progress. Heck, I'm glad to see some people are doing something before the disastrous midterms happen in November, and the GOP loses the US House.

I watched the 6p news, had French Toast for dinner, and switched to Discovery's "Expedition X" and History's "Greatest Mysteries" until 1:30a, and finally unplugged after checking the weather maps one more time.

Up at 9a on Sunday, a rainy, cold 33° morning, I upped the heat, made a new bag of Kenya AA Coffee, and scanned the weather and news. I scanned the weather maps and forecasts for "The Blizzard of '26", "Bomb Cyclone", Winter Storm "Hernando". Wheeew; too many names there. My opinion -- despite this dire prediction -- we won't know until this is all over.

I got ready for the day, and started a load of laundry, had lunch and called Sherry to see how she was doing. It'd been raining since early morning, and as temps dropped around 4-4:30p, it changed to snow. LOTS of snow. The coastal areas were really getting hammered, with very high winds, high tides, storm surges etc. By 11p, we'd gotten 2-3", as the snow began tapering off. A far cry from what doomsday crap the TV weather idiots were screaming about, with their hair on fire

The rainy afternoon went by too fast and soon sleet and snow joined-in the mix. I closed the condo, watched the "Storm Team" weather and news, and switched to History's "American Pickers", new show "History's Greatest Picks" and Discovery's "Filthy Fortunes" until 1:30a. Lights out.

Sleeping-in until 11a on Monday, a 31°, lightly snowing, very windy morning, everything was snow-covered frosting and beautiful, I upped the heat, made coffee and scanned the weather and news. The Northeast is getting hammered, and inland, we were spared the brunt of the storm. I decided not to do my usual Monday trip down south, as I checked the York County 911 website, there were many reports of accidents, traffic jams and still uncleared roads. I'll do it another day.

I closed-up the condo by dark, had dinner, watched the evening news and switched to the evening news, and Discovery-MT's "Iron Resurrection" and History's "Ancient Aliens" until 12:30a, and unplugged.

Up at 6a (with alarm) -- 0-DARK-THIRTY -- on Tuesday, a cold 23° morning. I fired-up the heat, made coffee and tuned into the "Chris Stigall Show", from 6-9. I gopt ready for the day and left for my 11a Nephrology app't, in South York. That went very well, and a 6mo follow-up is in order. I stopped at Weis Pharmacy to p/u 2 waiting Rxs, next stopped at FIVE GUYS Burger Store, and got 2 Dbl Cheeseburgers w/ condiments and 2 large fries: $45.50 (!) and ate a bunch of fries on the way to my next stop. Second stop done, Iheaded home, unloaded the car, had some lunch and grabbed a 3hr nap on the LR couch. I was so tired and exhausted, I was starting to get concerned.

After some dinner, I watched History's "Curse of Oak Island" until 9p, and YES, I watched the entire 1:48:00 POTUS' SOTU Speech, from 9-11, and it was good! The DemonKKKrats were lowlife hate-America dirtbags, as usual, and Trump's guests were amazing, especially the 2 MOH (Medal of Honor) soldiers. And the DemoKKKrats sat on thier hands all evening. Scum. I bagged it at 1a, and headed upstairs.Tuesday was the worst night in a long time. Going to sleep, but waking-up every hour, using the bathroom, repeat, rinse, repeat, rinse... I finally stayed up around 5a, upped the heat, made coffee, tuned into the "CS Show" from 6-9, then tried to figure out what to do for the day. My Net connection (xfinity/ Commiecast) was having connectivity problems, and went sideways, all morning, and email was gone once againe. Meh. I reset the xfinity modem/router several times and that didn't work, so I gave up after the last reset, and decided to let Commiecast fix their own crap equipment. I'm tired of workarounds.

After a big lunch, I crashed on the LR couch for 3hrs. I was really tired. By 6, it was dark, I closed the condo, made dinner and watched the news. I switched to "Expedition X" and "Ancient Aliens" until 11:30p. Lights out.

Up at 9a on Thursday, a cloudy, 34°, with light snow/rain forecast for the afternoon/evening. Sherry's scheduled to be here around 1, so we may have to cut that short if inclement weather arrives. I upped the heat, made coffee and tuned into the "CP Show, from 9-12. I scanned the news and weather, and the poor demoKKKrats are still smarting, whining and crying from Tuesday night's speech. I had some breakfast and got on with the day.

Small condo chores, 2 nearby errands and the afternopon was gone. I closed the condo, had dinner, watched the evening news, switched to Discovery's "Expedition X" until 12, and unplugged.

Up at 9a on Friday, a sunny, warmish 50° morning. I fired-up the furnace, made coffee and scanned the news and weather. With the "CP Show" in the background, I fired-up the 82" Samsung wall-mounted TV, to FOX to see if we're going to bomb the shit out of Iran today. Heh. I had a Weis Market delivery coming between 12-2p, so I'd have to stay here. Weis emailed me that they were "running a little late", and the final delivery didn't happen until 4:30p. First time it's ever happened. OK, that done and finished, I closed the condo, took a short 90min nap, and got up in the dark.

I had dinner, watched the 6p news, and switched to Discovery's "Gold Rush" and "Gold Rush: Mine Rescue" until 11:30. Lights out.

Tomorrow starts a new week, here in the "Journal", and I had my longtime Opthamologist app't, and upcoming cataract surgery on my left eye. My rigfht eye has MD (Macular Degeneration) so it'll slowly go blind in a few years, and isn't worth messing with, right now. Otherwise a clear week. Dr app'ts are beginning to increase as Spring approaches. I'm sure ready for Spring.

How Do They Come Up With So Many Stupid Democrats?

You have to hand it to Democrats, no matter how many times you are certain they can’t do something – be more corrupt, act sleazier, hate the country more, be idiots – they find a way to exceed what anyone thought was possible. In a sick way, it’s an accomplishment – a perverse one, but an accomplishment nonetheless. It’s enough to make you wonder if there is some sort of performance enhancing drug that lowers the bar to the point that you’d need a shove not to clear it.

The idea of a human being running a 3-minute mile was, for decades, laughable…until Roger Bannister did it in 1954 – finishing in an astonishing (for the time) 3 minutes 59.4 seconds on May 6th. Until then, no one had done it, as the speculation was a human being simply could not run fast enough for that long. In about 100 years of timing running races, no one had ever done what was considered impossible. On June 21 of the same year, the “impossible” record was broken by John Landy. Since then, the record has been broken 17 more times, with countless more runners besting 4 minutes regularly now.

No one could do it…until someone did it, then everyone started doing it and have been doing it ever since, proving that nothing is beyond the reach of human beings if we really apply ourselves.

Unfortunately, while that is true for the good things in life, it is also true for the bad, and the bad gets really bad when it comes to intelligence and members of the Democratic Party.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez flew to Munich, Germany, this week to participate a security conference where she and her fellow Democrats whine about their claim that the President is a fascist in the home of fascism, “genocide” in Gaza in the places where real genocidal plans were hatches, and climate change in person when they could have simply done a Zoom call and saved the “carbon footprint” of the flight.

What’s the fun in that? You don’t get a “free” trip to a conference in Europe for you and your fiancé if you just video chat in your appearance. I’m not saying she brought her finance with her to Germany, but I do think it weird she’s been “engaged” for years, whatever the reason, when a secondary effect of that is her fiancé’s finances do not need to be included in her financial disclosure forms. With her fellow leftists having their net worth skyrocket to the multi-millions due to the “earnings” of their spouses and all the justified scrutiny that comes with that, I’m just saying that putting off a wedding for as long as possible, in my opinion, makes political sense.

You gotta make hay while the Sun is shining, I guess, and certainly before the sunlight creeps into where all the money comes from…if that’s what is happening. (Just a guess…or one of them doesn’t really want to get married and that’s why they’ve been engaged since 2022.)

In Munich, this intellectual leader of the left was asked a simple question about whether or not the United States would come to the aid of Taiwan if China invaded, as they are desperate to do. This not-ready-for-prime-time-person responded with what could easily be described as an attempt to make Joe Biden look like a genius and Kamala Harris come off like a great orator.

AOC answered, “Um...you know...I think that uh...this is...such a, ya know, I think that...this is a um...This is, of course, a, uh, a very longstanding, um, policy of the United States, uh, and, I think, what we are hoping for is that we want to make sure that we never get to that point, and we want to make sure that we are moving in all our economic research and our global positions to avoid any such confrontation and for that question to even arise.”

Can you believe Jeopardy hasn’t called yet?

How does a political party produce someone so, um…articulate and special? How does a political party, that same political party, produce a series of “victims” of a child sex predator – who was a proud member of that same political party – who became entangled with that predator not when they were children, but when they were adults? Can’t they even stage a photo-op properly?

They can’t, because they don’t mean any of it. Do you really think AOC likes this country or cares about Taiwan or anyone who isn’t obedient, for that matter? Does any part of you genuinely think there is a single Democrat in the House who cares at all about who Jeffrey Epstein abused?

Democrats didn’t say a word about any of them for 4 years, now they can’t shut up about it. But only about the one man in the “files” who is only complained about by Epstein, as President Trump booted him from his life more than 20 years ago. Everyone else in there is a Democrat – all the people who stuck with him after his time under house arrest for soliciting sex from minors are Democrats. That’s not a coincidence, it’s a pattern. It’s who Democrats are.

So, it’s not that the party produces idiots, although it certainly is a magnet for them, it’s that it attracts horrible people who are awful to the children, women, animals, plant life and everything else that is not them or could hinder their goosestepping march to power. It’s not the 3-minute mile, more like the 3-point IQ. It’s who Democrats are.

Yes, Leftists are “Evil”. Here’s How They Got That Way—and Why You’ll Never Change Them.

“They are programmed…,” Soviet defector and ex-KGB man Yuri Bezmenov warned decades ago about the ideologues we call “leftists.” “You cannot change their mind…. You are stuck with them.”

It’s common for people to say today when contrasting our two major ideological groups, “Conservatives think leftists are misguided; leftists think conservatives are evil.” I, though, am different.

I know leftists are evil.

That is, practically speaking. Theologically speaking, I’m not judging their souls or inborn nature. Putting it plainly, however, and alluding to the reality that leftists have embraced evil, I will say they are so. I’m going to now explain how they got that way, too, and why Bezmenov was right: You will never, ever change their minds.

One more caveat: Because what’s true in principle is not always true in the particular, there are exceptions to the above rule. This is evidenced by the leftists who get “red-pilled.” Now let’s proceed.

It’s common to hear warnings about the effects of modern education’s left-wing indoctrination. We’ve all heard the stories, too, about young people entering college seeming normal and then going haywire—and even, sometimes, disowning their parents over political differences. Yet believing education is the only, or even main, culprit misses much.

The proverbial saying goes, “Give me a child until he is seven, and I will show you the man.” Psychologist Nicolai Sennels, who worked with delinquent Muslim youths in Denmark, once explained that what’s inculcated into a kid during his first seven years can become almost unchangeable (i.e., you’re “stuck” with it). And the “age of reason” has traditionally been considered seven.

The point is that by this age a person’s foundation (emotional and in other dimensions) is already largely formed. This means, too, that most formation occurs before the child has any schooling. But what is happening, mainly, during this period?

Ancient Greek philosopher Plato explained it well. Children must be raised in an atmosphere of nobility and grace, he stated, so that—and this is the crux—he will develop an erotic (as in emotional) attachment to virtue. (Note: Virtue is “that set of objectively good moral habits.”)

This is important because during these tender years, the child is too cognitively immature to grasp virtue’s importance intellectually. Once this emotional attachment is established, however, upon reaching maturity the individual will be much more likely to accept the dictates of reason. (For example, “There’s no such thing as a free lunch” or “You’re not owed other people’s money.”)

This is just common sense, of course. We all know how significant the formative years are (ergo the term “formative”); thus is abuse, especially sexual, during this period so devastating. Little children are as sponges, absorbing whatever truths, tastes or toxins surround them; they are as wet clay, too, highly malleable.

And whatever the negative influences, the point is this: Do the opposite of Plato’s prescription and raise a child in a degraded atmosphere, and the result is the opposite: He develops an erotic attachment to vice. Upon then reaching the age of reason, he will generally be very unreasonable. He not only will be less likely to accept reason’s dictates, but they may be anathema to him.

Unfortunately, too, forging a child in vice is far easier than inculcating virtue because, left to themselves, things naturally move towards disorder. (Think here of a house or car left to sit for years without maintenance.) In the case of individual moral development, this leads to what theologians might call “disordered thinking.”

As you might’ve guessed, too, the weaned-on-vice children tend to become what we in our time call “leftists” (or low-virtue people, LVP). And this explains a common experience normal people often have when debating them:

You present a logical point and factual evidence—and the LVP rejects it, responding emotionally.

Bezmenov referenced this phenomenon thus: You cannot change such a person’s mind even when exposing him “to authentic information. …The facts tell nothing to him.”

It also explains why two young people will attend the same college, exposed to identical propaganda, but respond very differently. The first will perhaps go along to get along, but roll his eyes and emerge with his degree—and with sanity (and politics) unchanged or even improved, having been spurred on to growth via exposure to error.

The second will become a raving, perhaps violent “leftist.”

Most would say the latter changed, and perhaps he did. What’s for certain is that each young person embraced ideology that corresponded to his early-years-forged emotional/moral foundation. The first student retained ideas that aligned with virtue because he was essentially virtuous.

The second easily gravitated toward ideas aligning with vice because he was essentially vice-imbued, an LVP. You could say that his college “transformation” was just a matter of what with animals is called “instinctual drift.” Only a catalyst was necessary—and the professors and their “teaching” were it.

This helps explain, mind you, the “red-pilled” leftists who experience political conversion. They are very often not LVP, just temporarily deceived people. And when finally witnessing leftism’s ugly face—such as merciless “cancel culture” or unjust political violence—they are viscerally repelled and then gravitate toward where they finally realize the greater virtue resides: the so-called “right.” (Note: “Greater” doesn’t mean “complete.” It means those in question are higher-virtue people, HVP.)

This also explains findings such as those presented in Peter Schweizer’s 2008 article “Don’t listen to the liberals – Right-wingers really are nicer people, latest research shows.” But they are “nicer” because they are HVP.

Philosopher C.S. Lewis framed this LVP-HVP difference very well in his 1943 book The Abolition of Man.

“No justification of virtue will enable a man to be virtuous,” he warned. “Without the aid of trained emotions the intellect is powerless against the animal organism. I had sooner play cards against a man who was quite skeptical about ethics, but bred to believe that ‘a gentleman does not cheat’, than against an irreproachable moral philosopher who had been brought up among sharpers.”

“Conservatives” are more likely to be bred believing “a gentleman does not cheat”; leftists are more likely to have “been brought up among sharpers.”

Anyone fancying this mere partisan prejudice doesn’t have to take my word for it. Just listen to LVP Democrat operative Scott Foval. He himself admitted on hidden camera in 2016 that there “is a level of adherence to rules on the other side [Republicans] that only when you’re at the very highest level, do you get over.”

So this is why I say, and know, that in principle leftists are evil. If this sounds uncharitable to anyone, I’ll offer hope: Leftists, you don’t have to wallow in wickedness. You can begin that journey into the light and seek virtue anytime you wish. The choice is yours.

On another charitable note, you don’t have to be a “sharper” to raise a sharper-like child. Why not? Well, harking back to Plato and raising kids, does an “atmosphere of nobility and grace” at all describe our culture today? With vulgarity and perverse sexuality infusing virtually everything now, with “Bad Bunny” truly epitomizing a bad collective sense of virtue, we now have a culture of vice. You don’t need abusive parenting or corruptive schooling to yield an LVP (though it helps). Just expose the child, unfettered, to enough TV, internet, and popular music.

And this is why, my friends, I’ve said that we can’t MAGA unless we MAMA: Make America Moral Again. A vice-ridden culture begets vice-ridden people—who then gravitate toward vice-reflecting ideology.

It’s so simple, perfect and demonic a scheme for creating citizens “of intemperate minds” who’ll invite and deserve tyranny that the suspicious could almost think it’s a conspiracy, and suspicious theists could almost think it’s a conspiracy transcending man. For we’ve heard that “politics is downstream from culture,” but the cleverest beings know that culture is downstream and upstream from human hearts.
