there's no readily-available evidence that large numbers of people aren't bailing-out of the Republican Party to go over to the dark side. They are leaving because thanks to the ongoing infestation of the party by liberal statists, they don't see a fundamental difference between the GOP and the Democrats. The Lesser Evil Argument that has persuaded some of us to vote for the likes of Bob Dole and John McCain, is no longer cutting it.

A new study by The Frontier Lab, a conservative market research group, found that Republican voters who leave the party do so because they are tired of being told to vote Republican as the "lesser of When you come to a fork in the road, take it for all it's worth. two evils". The group's study, "Switching Behavior: Modeling disaffiliation from the Republican brand", is published on the group's website and applies scientific methods of qualitative research to the GOP's most urgent problem.

Never mind the RNC's post-Romney-loss "autopsy", which was prepared by the same pointy-headed, unprincipled consultants who have been steering the GOP into oblivion.

Anne Sorock, author of the Frontier Lab Study, writes that the RNC autopsy failed to provide "meaningful insights about how the Republican Party's adherents are interacting with the brand as it stands".

She found four main reasons for the growing disaffection.

One was the rejection of the "lesser of two evils" argument – the argument that voters had to support a bad Republican because the Democratic candidate would invariably be worse.

A second event was a loss of hope in the Republican Party – a sentiment connected to the feeling that the party could no longer deliver on its promises – because its weak leaders had abandoned their Conservative principles and caved to the liberal-socialist-radical-demokkkRAT enemies.

A third reason that Republicans had decided to detach themselves from the party label was "affiliation with a new community" – primarily the Tea Party – Sorock says, which offers the kind of "camaraderie" that the GOP itself no longer provides its members.

Finally, a fourth reason Republicans identified for leaving was "perceived betrayal by the GOP establishment".

It's not time for the GOP to roll-over and put its cloven hooves into the air, just yet.

The good news for Republicans, Sorock says, is that disaffiliation can be reversed if Republicans strive to create a sense of community around shared principles and abandon the "two evils" argument – without attacking weak candidates.

One of two things will happen: either (1) principled Conservatives, who truly believe in limited government and American exceptionalism will take over the party, the way socialists/fascists/communists took over the Democrat Party; or (2) the Republican Party will be replaced by a new party representing Tea Party values.

The proverbial fork in the road lies directly ahead. If (1) is going to happen, it will have to be very soon. Time is rapidly running-out for the 2014 Mid-term Elections, and the 2016 General Election is edging ever closer.

It's either going to be The Tea Party or The Fourth Box. The former is more palpable, but the latter is readily available and viable option if (1) fails.

A Day In The Life

Friday was another cloudy, rainy and cool 66°F morning, as I got-up at 7:30, made French-Roast, Turkish-Grind Coffee (from whole, freshly-ground Starbuck's® Dark French Roast Fresh Ground Beans) with my Chemex® Drip System, some Fresh-Squeezed OJ w/ lots of pulp, and had a bowl of Cheerios w/ Red Raspberries, for breakfast. After scanning the weather and news sites, I checked my bank's online banking site, to be sure all the deposits from yesterday had made it thru into the correct accounts, and they did. I left at 9am to get a few errands done, as the rain started. DC, MD & VA were under flood watches, but the bulk of the Nor'easter storm passed to our east. I got home around 10:30, called Dad to chat, and decided to stay-in for the day and get some paperwork done.

On the morning's round-trip, I noticed that gas/diesel prices at the pump, had gone up 17-30¢/gal, just since yesterday, Thursday (7/11): Unleaded Regular (87 oct) is now at $3.45/gal, Unleaded Premium (89oct) is at $3.55/gal, Premium (93 oct) is at $3.75/gal, with Diesel Fuel/Kerosene K-2 now at $4.05/gal, at most stations, in the York (PA) area.

Suddenly, the northbound coastal Nor'easter turned east and headed for the York-Lancaster area; and it poured. I made a Bone-In Broiled Allen Bros® 16oz Filet Mignon, sliced thin, w/ cheese, on rye,

smothered with Sautéed Sweet Onions, for lunch. I listened to the morning's missed Chris Plante Show Podcast, worked on paperwork, online projects, filing and paying bills (yes, I still write checks), until 6pm, when the Mark Levin Show came on until 9. I did some research on several BOSE® Speaker Systems for Dad's and Becky's HP Laptops. My own Condo and former Office Logitech® Z-680 THX-Certified v5.1 Digital Surround Sound Speaker Systems are far too complex and powerful for their simple laptop units. I need to get them both something simple, compact, usable and nice. I'll just order one for Dad, and if Becky likes it, I'll get her one, too. By 11:30pm, I'd had enough comparing so many laptop speaker system options, I packed-it-in for the night.

I slept-in until 7:30am on Saturday; another cloudy, rainy start to the day, and a relatively cool 67°F morning. After coffee, OJ and Rye Bread Toast w/ Keller's® Butter, I checked the weather and news sites, and left at 9:30 to run an errand and stop-by

Dad's. After a nice 2hr visit and some projects, I left for home to get some more paperwork and filing done, in the basement's files shelves. The weather cleared-up, temps hit 85°F, and temps were forecast to rise into the upper-90s over the next 5-6 days; uncomfortable to be sure. The gunsmith from Freedom Armory called and asked me to come in at 10am on Monday, to select a new scope for my Henry® "Big Boy" .357 Magnum Lever-Action Rifle, and that all the machining work was done, and mounts installed on it and the Remy® 1100 Tac™ Semi-Automatic 12ga, plus I needed to bring back my Beowulf® .50cal, for padded butt-cushion fitting. I'll pick-up a couple boxes of 9mm ammo for Dad's upcoming new gun – he submitted his Permit for Concealed Carry on Friday, to the York County Sheriff – and I need to start stockpiling some ammo for him and Becky, for home and self-defense. I'll be taking the both of them, plus friends Sherry and her son Corey, to Freedom Armory for a 3hr Handgun/Shotgun/Rifle Training Class, and plenty of range time, in the slower Summer months

I also have to take my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee 'Laredo' in to S&D Automotive on Tuesday morning at 8:30, for state inspection and an AC System recharge, and when I'm done, drop-off my 1986 Infinity® RSb Studio Reference Series to Sherry's Son, Corey, to look at, for me. Next week's

beginning to fill-up, and Becky's moving load is due after the 18th, which could mean almost any day. The driver will call me a day ahead. And she'll be arriving at Harrisburg Int'l Airport/HBG around the 24th, for good, to stay at Dad's house for a while, until she finds and buy a new condo she likes. Busy, busy, busy times ahead. After checking my food shopping list for tomorrow morning, I listened to several older, missed Mark Levin Show Podcasts until (;30, when the long-awaited new hit the airwaves.

WOWZER! At 9:50pm, Zimmerman has been found innocent in the self-defense shooting of that lowlife, dirtbag, mentally-ill, racist, doper, ghetto thug Martin punk! I wound-up staying-up until 12:30am for the reports and updates.

I got-up at 7:30 on Sunday, half-expecting the major US cities to be on fire and full of riots from last night's "not guilty" verdict, but was pleasantly surprised to find nothing had happened. I made coffee, had some Del Monte® Red Grapefruit Sections, a bananna and checked the weather and new sites. 74°F already and headed into the mid-90s, with upper-90s coming later in the week. Nasty stuff. I got ready, started my Back-up/Restore Schedule, checked my shopping list, took 4 extra .45cal ACP magazines along in my Tactical Vest, in addition to the extra 2 I always carry in my Galco® Paddle Dual 8-Round Mag Carrier, picked-up my week's mail from the CHCA community mailbox, and left at 8:15 for Weis® Market. I sailed thru my long list, had a full cart and was back home to unpack by

9:30, set the computer to do a full-system scan with Windows® Defender, and left for Dad's at 10am. Already 86°F, the Jeep's AC system went from cold to barely cool, and it was nice to get inside and out of the heat/humidity. Becky called at 10:45am, and we went thru her moving load's estimated/scheduled arrival this week, and her arrival from SF, next week. I went home around 11:30, made a Turkey Club w/ Chips, did several laundry loads, cleaned bathrooms, opened a pile of mail, wrote-out checks for bills, and moved another stack of files to the basement for filing. There's quite a pile on my workbench needing hours of filing time. I listened to some missed Mark Levin Podcasts, and then from 8-11pm, to Gun Talk on the live KIDO stream, and will review some previous podcasts. I have to change/wash linens/re-make the bed tomorrow, and will start that load before I leave for Freedom Armory for my 10am appointment, stop at Lee's to look at/work on some of his Jap Maples, and will finish it all after I return. I packed-it-in around 11:30pm, after checking the upcoming week's weather forecast.

My "internal alarm" went-off at 6am on Monday; it was already a bright, sunny and 74°F day, destined for 93-95°F, and I made coffee, OJ and had a bananna. After checking the weather and news sites – ***HEAT ADVISORY*** – I stripped the bed for a laundry load, grabbed a shower, and got the .50cal Beowulf rifle and 2 carrying bags ready for my 10am appointment at Freedom Armory. With my Jeep's dithering AC, I wasn't going to do any other unplanned stops, other than just come home and get back into the cool Condo. It goes in for AC service and state inspection, tomorrow at 8:30am, at S&D Automotive. After packing the Jeep, I left at 9:15. Arriving at 10am,

I was disappointed to find out that 2 parts for the remaining rifles still weren't in yet, and it was a wasted trip; I'll have to go back, another time. I stopped at Brown's Orchards and got some things for Dad and myself, and jumped on to I-83 north. On the way home, the Bekins Moving Co mover called from out in western Ohio, and told me that Becky's load from CA would be in by 8am, tomorrow, and I had to reschedule my 2 appointments for Tuesday. Dad called and wanted to re-arrange the attached garage again, so I changed into "grubbies", as it's going to be a hot, sweaty day moving everything from one side to the other and re-wiring the area so that the 2 HP copiers etc still work; the load will easily occupy 80-90% of the garage. Crap. I hate this last-minute scrambling around, since we'd re-arranged the garage 2-3 weeks ago to accommodate the incoming load. I left for Dad's at 12:15pm to get started.

Temps hit 93°F/101°F Heat Index on the way over, and within an hour, we had it finished, and were both drenched with sweat. All garage work done, I headed home, grabbed another shower and dry clothes, and stayed-in for the afternoon. Due to the heat, I couldn't keep any food down, so I just drank Ocean Spray® Diet Blueberry Juice. I listened to the morning's missed Chris Plante Show Podcast, paid some bills, and went to an emergency CHCA Homeowner's Meeting at 6pm. 96°F/ 103°F Heat Index. Apparently, we have a Tier III Sex Offender renting a room in a unit owner's condo, and we're trying to get rid of him by changing the Association Bylaws. I proposed pitchforks,

torches and a noose at 11pm, and the attys were amused, but said we can't do that anymore. 50 years ago, maybe. I was back by 7:30, and caught the last half of the Mark Levin Show until 9, re-listened to the first 1½-hrs, and watched some Fox News CATV until 11. I needed to get-up by 6am and wait for the trucker's call, so we can get Becky's unloading project underway and done. I shut-down at 11:30pm. Still 88°F/94°F Heat Index, but dropping. Today would have been Mom's 90th Birthday.

I was up at 5:30am on Tuesday, to a "cool" 74°F, just as the sun was rising. While making coffee and OJ, I checked the weather and news sites – ***HEAT ADVISORY*** – and my cellphone to see of the Bekins Moving Co guys had called upon arrival in York – they hadn't, yet – and had a bowl of Cheerios w/ Red Raspberries, for breakfast. They did call at 8:15, and I drove to a North York shopping center parking lot to meet them, and the truck followed me back to Dad's neighborhood. It would be a long morning of getting that Bekins® 53-ft moving van into Dad's cul-de-sac street, getting Becky's 180-piece load off the truck and into the emptied attached 2-car garage. I checked-off all 180 items as they were unloaded and restacked. It was 3/4-full, stacked to the ceiling, when we finished, 3 hours later. Over 900 cuft. Temps for today were forecast 93-95°F and a sweltering 103°F Heat Index, factoring-in humidity and wind. Sucks to be all of us in this weather. By 10am, it was already 93°F and rising. After all

paperwork was completed, Dad nicely tipped the two men and their grandson, and they left for Boston, their last stop and backhaul point. Sunburnt and drenched, I went home, ate a handful of Bayer® 325mg Aspirin, grabbed a shower and some dry clothes, made an Egg & Olive Salad Sandwich, BLT Pasta Salad and Chips & Guacamole, for lunch. I listened to the morning's missed Chris Plante Show Podcast, paid some more upcoming bills, worked on filing at the basement workbench and caught a two hour snooze on the LR couch. By 6pm, the Mark Levin Show was on until 9. I armed the Condo, as usual, and bagged it around 10pm. 78°F and dropping.

Awake at 6:45am on Wednesday, and tired from yesterday's heat during the moving van unloading, I just made coffee, some OJ, made some delicious Creamed Chipped Beef on Toast (we called it "shit-on-a-shingle" in the Boy Scouts), and checked the weather and news sites: another – ***SEVERE HEAT ADVISORY*** – for 96°F forecast with a Heat Index of 103-105°F, and even worse for the next few days. It was already 85°F and rising quickly. I drove over to Rutter's® convenience store and got a carton of Marlboros® before the heat set-in, and decided to stay inside today. the driveway edges for next week's sealcoating, over the weekend, after temps drop back down into the 80s. I listened to the Chris Plante Show, from 9-12, while Steaming Local Asparagus and making Fresh Hollandaise Sauce, from scratch (a lot of work). By 12noon, it was 89°F and still climbing. While listening to Rush, I re-lubed the garage doors wheels' bearings, slide-hanger track and spring wheels's bearings with Lithium Grease Spray, drove over to the US Post Office to drop-off some bills, then to Rite Aid to get a 3-lb container of candied Orange Slices, came home and closed-down for the day's heat. 97°F. Crap.

I washed two days worth of sweaty clothes and was just glad to have stayed-in today, and out of the heat. It's going to be with us for the next 3-4 days, and I can only imagine what the load is on the region's power grid. I listened to a couple of recent Bob Durgin Podcasts, on WHP-580AM. Harrisburg, while I worked on paperwork and filing, starting some new filing boxes on the basement shelves (old pic). The Mark Levin Show came on from 6-9pm, and afterward, I watched a hair-raising, anger-inducing moving about the 1996 missile shoot-down/US Gov't cover-up of Flight TWA 800, on EPIX-HD TV, until 10:30, and then some Fox News. That incident caused me not to fly commercial since it happened. I have to take the Jeep into S&D Automotive at 9:30am, for the moving load-rescheduled annual state inspection and urgent AC service, so I packed-it-in at 10:30pm.

After a night of weird dreams, I tried to get back to sleep, but just got up at 3:30am for good, made coffee,

OJ and some Cream of Wheat w/ Keller's Butter. Cloudy, 72°F and forecast to hit 95-97°F with a 110°F Heat Index. I checked the news and weather sites: ***SEVERE HEAT ADVISORY*** posted. I fed the birds and squirrel, kept reading thru the news sites to get up-to-ate on overnight activity of the assholes rioting over that dead subhuman ghetto thug rat, Martin. I drove to S&D Automotive for the needed work and inspection appointment at 9:30, and came home around 1:30pm. At 2pm, I received a call from Choice Security, telling me that the GC&N Complex had a power failure and the alarm system needed resetting. I made a quick Fried Egg, Bacon, Cheese & Tomato Sandwich and chips for lunch, and drove 20 miles down I-83 south to reset the system's keypad, before the back-up battery went dead. 101°F/ 113°F Heat Index. Yikes. With the oppressive heat, overheated and stalled-out cars, clogged highways and construction delays, I took all the backroads and shortcuts I could, finally got home at 6:15pm, and tuned into the Mark Levin Show until 9. I watched Fox News and checked The Weather Channel for the incoming t-storms, bearing down on the York area.

Tomorrow starts a new week here in the "Journal", and with a pending driveway sealcoating for Dad, and Becky arriving from SF, cleaning ladies coming-in for a day, plus some financial retirement meetings I have scheduled, and canceled things from last week needing rescheduling, it's a mildly-busy week, so far. But that'll change, I'm sure; it always does.

Are you truly ready for when, not if, TSHTF (The Shit Hits The Fan). And a lot of my "Journal" Readers have emailed and called me to discuss what preparations they should take for that "coming awful event". Believe me, "it" IS coming. Based upon what's happening around the world and here in the US, I have a terrible, terrible *gut feeling* that TSWHTF (The Shit Will Hit The Fan), sometime in late-2012 or in early-2013. Don't ask why; I just do.

First, Israel is preparing for war, after being attacked for years on many fronts, and not fighting back as she should have. This war will truly have "Biblical implications" around the world. The Middle East is rapidly-collapsing under the subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic riots (muslim Brotherhood) and rule ("arab Spring"), with world crude oil prices projected to hit $200+/bbl, or even higher into the $300-$400 range,

Europe is on the verge of insolvency and collapse, no thanks in great part to Germany, teetering-and-tottering Asia and South America will quickly-follow, then comes the downfall of Canada, and The USA won't be far behind, in late 2012 and into 2013. Watch this video; be sure you're sitting-down, and don't have any food or liquid in your mouth upon which to choke.

There are people who are still connected to the old one and can't conceive of life without that old paradigm. I think you saw that in the Great Depression. A lot of people never recovered from it because once that hit it was the end of their lives. claim. Obama: "Entrepreneurs Don't Build Businesses"

"Last week, President Barack Obama delivered some telling remarks to a fire station full of people in Roanoke, Virginia. I'll save you the trouble of reading the (long and uninspired) speech and provide you with the most interesting part:

     "If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." – President Barack Obama, July 13th, 2012.

It would be easy to respond with something along the lines of, "Somebody else made that happen? Who? Who magically imagined the product or service, started the business, built it up, and created the jobs? Who was it? The tooth fairy?" And to some extent, President Obama's statement is so ridiculous as to merit that sort of quick, flippant response.

However, he's not entirely wrong. This reminds me of an argument that Massachusetts Senate Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren would probably make. If he's talking about a mid-sized or large business, where an entrepreneur has hired additional employees, then at that point the business's success isn't purely that of its founder.

Employees add value to a business through work and ideas. That's why you hire employees, after all. Steve Jobs didn't invent every last detail of the phones, computers, and tablets to come out of Apple over the last decade. There were engineers working on those products who developed them. So, employees help entrepreneurs to build their business. "Somebody else" did indeed play a part in making that happen.

But what makes the president's remarks so inane is the totality of what he's saying. He's not saying that entrepreneurs and employees work together to build a business. It's not a collaborative effort. It's all thanks to the employees. Usually, I can understand the way the president's mind works on most issues by examining it through a pragmatic, liberal, or progressive framework. This one baffles me.

As I explained, I can see that he has some of a point, but he's still just obviously wrong on the broader point. Sure, the employees help to build the business, but the business itself wouldn't exist without the entrepreneur. So, to say to entrepreneurs and to business owners, "...you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen," is just wrong. It's silly. They did build that by setting the foundation for the business.

Entrepreneurs are almost always the hardest workers in their business. They work a simply insane number of hours to get their idea off the ground. If they succeed (and they face a tremendous risk if they don't), then they'll start to grow and to hire employees to help. Honestly, if I were an entrepreneur and I read those remarks by the president, I would be furious. It's a tremendous insult to the true job-creators in America, entrepreneurs.

In the context of a long, somewhat rambling campaign speech that touched on every issue under the sun, it may seem as though I'm over-exaggerating the importance of a minor thing he said. But President Obama isn't a stupid man, or even one who makes off-the-cuff remarks he doesn't really mean. He's a very smart man, and he meant what he said.

When the most important issues for most Americans are economic growth and job creation, I believe it's essential to know exactly where both candidates stand on the importance of entrepreneurs. Yesterday, we learned that President Obama believes that entrepreneurs don't build businesses. Ultimately, they're irrelevant. Take that for what you will." ©Principles and Policy, July 14, 2012

It's not my intentions to be the judge here — that's God's "job" — but rather to "hasten the meeting" so that He can send the following subhuman filth to the "Fires of Hell", "River or Lake of Sulphur", or whatever He deems appropriate. I'd gladly/happily volunteer, at no cost to any of my Hard-Working, Fellow US Taxpayers, to gladly/gleefully/happily headshoot these murderous, lowlife dirtbags of all stripes — their skin-color doesn't matter one whit to me, at all — and rid American Society's innocents — especially our too-vulnerable, "Whosoever shall shed man's blood, his blood shall be shed: for man was made to the image of God."
– Genesis 9:6 precious children and the frail, defenseless elderly — of the subhuman criminals who prey upon them, once-and-for-ever. And yes, I'd rather see one innocent man convicted and executed, than 10 murderers, robbers, child rapists-murderers freed, to rob, rape and murder again. Society's innocents — our precious, defenseless children and the frail, defenseless elderly — must be protected from predators, murderers, rapists, robbers and other subhuman filth, at all times and at any cost, IMO.

The 6th Commandment actually says: "Thou Shalt Not Murder". It does NOT say, "Thou Shalt Not Kill." I personally don't consider any summary-execution — except by subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic pigshit — as murder, in any way, shape or form. It's "Due-Justice-For-Crimes-On-This-Earth", IMO.

The Death Penalty is The Foundation of Government.
