america just lost something

friday, june 7th, 2024

Donald Trump did not lose on (last) Thursday.  Our once venerated legal system did.  And, by extension, all Americans lost something precious.  Because the failure of justice is a failure of the people.

[FULL TITLE: "In Trump trial there was no real crime but America just lost something it can never get back."]

The conviction of the former president in a Manhattan courtroom was preordained.  With the inexorable verdict, the ideals of a fair trial and an impartial jury faded into a figment of our Founders’ imaginations. They knew that the worst oppression is done by the color of law.  They feared it and tried to prevent it.  So, they, too, have lost.

No reversal on appeal can erase the ugly stain. It is indelible. Ethical integrity, equal justice, and the revered rule of law became the fateful casualties of this assault on liberty. There was no real crime to be found.  Prosecutors simply invented one —an undefined conspiracy that was factually impossible and unsupported anywhere in the criminal codes. There was never any plausible evidence that Trump committed crimes. There was no legal basis for the D.A.'s indictment

The trial itself that stretched for five agonizing weeks seemed a mere formality, a hollow exercise.  A bookkeeping entry magically morphed from an expired misdemeanor to an active felony in the way that a porcupine is transmogrified into a prince.

At trial, the accused was never informed of his alleged felonious conduct. It was an egregious violation of his Sixth Amendment rights.  Jurors were then given a creative menu of three possibilities and informed that our cherished constitutional principle of unanimity had gone the way of the dodo.  We still don’t know —and may never know— what conspiracy Trump supposedly committed.

The tragic coda to the Trump trial is that Americans can no longer trust our system of justice. Faith has been squandered.

District Attorney Alvin Bragg proved the English philosopher and jurist, Jeremy Bentham, correct.  "It is never the law itself that is in the wrong; it is always some wicked interpreter of the law that has corrupted and abused it."

But Bragg did not act alone.  His accomplice and co-prosecutor, Judge Juan Merchan, blithely disregarded the established rules of evidence, manipulated standards of admissibility to favor the prosecution, sanctioned prejudicial testimony bereft of probative value, and helped engineer a wrongful conviction by depriving Trump of a full and legitimate defense to which he was entitled. Merchan did all of this without conscience or regret.

There was never any plausible evidence that Trump committed crimes. There was no legal basis for the indictment. Facts were contrived or exaggerated.  Statutes were perverted or ignored.  The law enforcers became law-breakers.  Bragg’s scheme to exploit a pathological liar and convicted perjurer as his star witness was a devious maneuver by an unscrupulous prosecutor.

On cue, Cohen lied to the jury, just as he had lied to everyone else.  It was no surprise coming from a man who told Congress, "I have lied, but I am not a liar."  That is a twisted syllogism from an insufferable reprobate.

The problem with liars is that, for them, truth has no meaning.  They are incapable of distinguishing fantasy from reality.  They lie to themselves about their own lies.  But that did not stop Bragg and his confederates from mining Cohen’s skills as an expert prevaricator in their relentless quest to convict Trump.

Did they suborn perjury? Absolutely. They knew Cohen would lie. They wanted him to. He did not disappoint.

Bragg never had authority to bring a case against Trump based on federal campaign finance violations, which appeared to be the centerpiece of his misbegotten case. That’s why he concealed it to the bitter end. A competent or unbiased judge would never have allowed it. Merchan was neither.

The tragic coda to the Trump trial is that Americans can no longer trust our system of justice.  Faith has been squandered. If it can be weaponized against a former president, it can happen to any of us. We are all at risk.

When a district attorney, who is a powerful force in government, abuses his position of trust to subvert the legal process, and when a judge acts in concert to dismantle the due process rights of the accused, our system of justice is threatened. Reverence to the rule of law is lost.

Sadly, it is no more.

A Day In The Life.

Up at 7a on Friday, I went thru my BS finger stick routine to check my BSL (Blood Sugar Level) and recorded it on my Diabetes 2 chart, made coffee, took two 50mg Tramadol and a 300mg Gabapentin for Sciatica pain, fired-up the Win-7 Pentium HP desktop to let 32 million lines of Win-7 code load, had a couple smokes in the cool garage and checked the day's to-do list.

It was already a very cool 53° outside, so I fired-up the furnace, had some wonderful Kona "Farm Hand" Coffee, then scanned the news and weather sites, and tuned into the "Chris Stigall Show LIVE" (CS Show) from 6-9a, then the "Chris Plante Show LIVE" (CP Show) 9-12noon, and finally to the Michael Berry Show PODCAST (MB Show Podcast) 12-3p, and his evening Podcasts.

Don't text me; it's too damned gay.

From yesterday commentary... After a bogus FBI probe, two impeachments, one Mar-A-Lago raid, four indictments and multiple overturned ballot disqualifications, Democrats demonKKKrat leftist-fascists finally got what they wanted. For now. In one of the darkest hours in American history, after an ex-president for the first time was convicted in criminal court, of 34 "felonies". Fat, stupid, lowlife, leftist, corrupt, compromised, commie asshole, DA (DumbAss) Alvin Bragg, could only smile and chat with laughing leftist/demonKKKrat reporters. “I did my job,” the Manhattan DA declared to a light-headed, comical news conference that completely ignored the gravity of having just secured 34 felony convictions that could send Donald Trump to prison, for life. But that won';t happen; probably. That job was not begun by Bragg, though he campaigned successfully to be New York City's chief prosecutor with a bold promise he could be the guy that finally held Donald Trump accountable. Meh. The radical far-Left (nay demonKKKrats) got exactly what they craved: 1) Trump convicted of a felony crime, and 2) Trump's 2024 campaign heavily-damaged thru house arrest, and 3) bad PR, and 4) voters questioning that their own Trump votes are even ethical or a waste of time.

Canada now has a new "official holiday", called 'Menstrual Hygiene Day'. And they're flying the new "period flag", as they "work towards menstrual equity". Not kidding. (((sigh))).

Communists, socialists, demonKKKrats, leftists, Marxists, fascists and anarchists are very good at solving imaginary problems.

I had a quick lunch, left at 12noon to get 3 errands done, and then over to the nearby 2:30 therapeutic massage, where Heidi GOT RID OF MY SCIATICA PAIN, in 30 minutes! She did the same for my crippling neck/shoulder pain, 8-9yrs ago. Amazing! I was more-than-good for the rest of the day.

I worked on some condo chores and a small pile of paperwork until 6p, watched the news, had a burger and fries, and watched Discovery's "Gold Rush" until 1a. Lights out.

Up at 8a on Saturday, to another sunny, clear blue sky, 61° and a nice 80° weekend ahead. I started coffee, had breakfast and a couple of smokes in the garage, with the overhead door open to get some fresh, morning air, tuned into the week's "CS Show Podcasts", about Trump's 34-count conviction, and just relaxed. If you liked it the first time around, back in the late-80s, you'll love the "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" Sequel. Heh.

Well, well, it's once again the deviancy of so-called "Pride Month", and does degeneracy, sickness, perversion and debauchery really need a full month? IMO, it shouldn't get even a nano-second. And this pastor, also thinks that way.

By early afternoon, I'd gotten extremely tired and fell asleep on the LR couch. Much later -- 3+ hours -- I tried calling Sherry, but my phone wasn't working, from the last morning call. Dark and dead. I tried to restart several times, but no luck. The battery store was closed, so I was SOL (shit-out-of-luck) for the day. I'll try something else -- don't know what -- tomorrow. After a nice Pasta & Meatballs dinner, I watched History's "Ancient Aliens" Marathon until 11:30, and unplugged for the night.

Up at 8:30a on Sunday, sunny and already 68°. I made coffee, had smokes in the garage, amd scanned the news sites' headlines and articles' updates from yesterday. The cellphone is back, and working! I'm not even trying to figure out what happened. It's working; good enough for now. I watched the IndyCar GP Race in Detroit, which started around 12noon, and like almost all street races, it was marred by accidents and yellow flags. Boring. After a late lunch, I had paperwork to catch-up on, and some condo chores to do. I did a load of laundry, and will do the other in a day or so. Some rain cells blew thru late afternoon, but it was brief. I called Sherry to make plans for the coming week, had some dinner and caught the evening news. Another NBC (Nothing But Crap) night for TV, but at least Motor Trend's "Iron Resurrection" was on until midnight. Lights out.

Awake and up at 5:30a on Monday, sunny 70° and forecast to be nice, made the new Monarch Estate Gesha Peaberry Coffee (WOW!), had a smoke in the garage, tuned into the "CS Show LIVE" and scanned the news headlines. The corrupt, criminal FBI marches in a Fag Parade. The subhuman POS who murdered an MPD cop, is a dirtbag black muzzie(SPIT!). Of course, we Baby Boomers are to blame for the Nation's mess. And that nasty old black bitch, ?Mad Max is calling for Civil War, and blaming us. And on and on and on. Heh; just another news day.

I left for my usual 3 errands trip to points south of York, at 12:15p. Traffic was moderate, except near and in construction zone chokepoints, as usual. Back by 1:15, I settled-in for some (MB Show Podcast) replays. I had a large Italian pasta lunch, crashed from the morning's caffeine, and got 2hrs on the LR couch. A 5p call from my GI Dr's office in Hershey woke me, and I mistakenly canceled the 1yr app't (automated recording), which I'll call back at 8a and try to get rescheduled. Meh.

After dinner, I planted one of the Gaillardia "Goblin" Blanket Flowers I'd gotten last week -- best perennial bang-for-the-buck anywhere -- and watched the news and switched to History's "History's Greatest Mysteries" series until midnight. Lights out.

Up at 8a on Tuesday, a very warm 75°, mostly sunny, forecast to be a (((HOT))) 90°-plus. I made coffee, enjoyed a smoke and a mug in the now-open garage, for some fresh air. I tuned into the remainder of the "CS Show LIVE" and scanned the day's news headlines. I noticed a weather warning.

The 'fix' is in: a loser-demonKKKrat jury has been empaneled, the DoIJ (Dept of InJustice) will cut a deal, with no consequences, and the defense will all walk away with some money, big smiles, WH unending gratitude, warm wet underwear, and back-rubs all around. The far-left WaPo is circling the toilet bowl and, hopefully, will flush this time. Heh, the sequel to "Beetle Juice" is due out soon. Funny movie. Uh oh, it's June and time to ruin it with "Pride Month" bullshit crap. Me, myself & I don't celebrate that trash, crap, shit, filth, garbage and sewage.

It was 115° on the back patio, in direct sun, but only in the low-80s in the shade. The lawnmower crews are mowing this morning, and Penn State-Hershey called to restore yesterday's mistakenly canceled 10:20a Thursday appointment. Good, good, good. I had an Apple/Raisin Fritter for breakfast and a 2nd carafe of Kona Coffee, the lawn care guys finished and left, and things quieted down. I knew from the first smoke I had in the garage, that the heat & humidity were going to cause me some problems, with my Early Stage 3 COPD situation. The AC everyone takes for granted, is a blessing for me.

Sherry arrived at 1p. We talked for a while, then drove to Flinchbaugh's Orchard & Farm Market in Hallam, to get some goodies, and back to my place. After some real good hugs and kisses, she left after 5p, I had some dinner, watched the news, and settled-in with History's "Secret of SkinWalker Ranch", and quit at midnight.

Up at 5:45a on Wednesday, an overcast, muggy 77% humidity, warm 70° start to the day, with t-storms forecast. Natch. Meanwhile, the Southwest gets cooked again in triple-digit temps. I scanned the news headlines, with coffee, after a smoke in the garage, and some fresh air. Another humid day ahead, here.

News we'll never get the truth about? Another nigra ghettopotamus' murder of a White mother and 3yr old child, with the death of the child. And the murderous nigrette sweathog bitch was released, with zero "hate crime" charges. Take a guess why, go ahead... I'll wait.

I had some condo chores, another load of laundry to get done, had lunch and grabbed a 2½hr snooze on the LR couch. The heavy rain arrived before I could get the 2nd Gaillardia perennial into he front garden, so I let it sit out in the rain to stay watered. My files and paperwork are condensed for tomorrow morning's trip to PSU-Hershey Medical Center, for the 10:20a app't. History's "American Pickers" had some past episodes that I hadn't seen, so I stayed with it thru the evening, except for the 6p & 11p news. Lights out.

80th Anniv D-Day

Up at 6a with the alarm, on Thursday, to another very humid (80%) and warm 71° morning, I made coffee, had a couple of Marlboros in the opened garage, fed the squirrels, and did the usual morning finger stick for the BSL (Blood Sugar Level) test. The "CS Show LIVE" was already in-progress, and I went thru a mental checklist of items I'd need for the morning's annual trip to PSU-Hershey Medical Center; got it all ready from last evening. I'll take my Kimber 1911 .45cal ACP along in-holster, but secure it in the Jeep, while I'm inside for the app't. I don't feel comfortable without it, as I've carried concealed (CCW) since 7.14.75, when I was robbed and shot, in West Palm Bch, FL.

I had an Apple Fritter w/ KerryGold Irish Butter for breakfast, scanned the news headlines, and got ready for the day. My cleaning lady, JoAnne, emailed me that she'd be at her/husband's beach house in MD, for June, so I'm on my own. No sweat; I took care of my condo in NJ and here in PA -- and ran a multi-million dollar business -- long before any of my housekeepers worked for me. I hope she and Tim have a wonderful vacation; they richly deserve it.

I left at 9:15a for the 35=40min drive up north thru Harrisburg and east to Hershey. The app't went great, and I was back on the road to York, in heavy traffic by 11:30. Finally home, I had a large portion of Mackenzie Scottish Smoked Salmon for lunch, checked the news headlines on CFP, closed the condo's office-sunroom 4ft x 9ft window blinds, and hit the LR couch for 2hrs+. Nice nap. High for the day was 91°, with Y-U-G-E humidity. Hey, Summer's here.

I skipped dinner, watched the evening news, and History's special, "D-Day: The Unheard Tapes, Pt 1". By 11p, I was ready for some serious shuteye.

Tomorrow starts a new week here in the "Journal", and I've got 2-3 full days of 'medical stuff' to do and, hopefully will get together with Sherry.

America Has Its First Show Trial.

To understand the damage done by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Judge Juan Merchan, and the Manhattan jury in the Donald Trump corporate records trial, one must first understand the most important rule of modern life: Everything the left touches, it destroys.

The Justice Department and the American legal system are only the most immediate examples.

Here are 25 other examples:

1. Universities.
2. High schools.
3. Elementary schools.
4. Children’s innocence.
5. Marriage and family.
6. Children who say they are the other sex.
7. Journalism.
8. Women’s psychological health.
9. Black life.
10. Black-white relations.
11. Art.
12. Music.
13. Architecture.
14. The military.
15. The FBI.
16. The CDC and NIH.
17. The American Medical Association and most other medical associations.
18. Medical schools.
19. Free speech.
20. Women’s sports.
21. The border.
22. Religion.
23. The economy.
24. Fighting crime.
25. America’s major cities.

In the case of the Trump trial, the left has done something never done before in American history: put on trial a former president and the opposition political party candidate for president.

You don't have to be a Trump supporter to recognize the trial was a sham.

The left responds that it was morally necessary to do something heretofore associated only with corrupt dictatorships because Donald Trump had engaged in criminal activities that heretofore no presidential candidate or ex-president has ever engaged in. And “no one is above the law.”

But this response is a lie. The reason for the trial was the same reason dictatorships put opponents on trial: to prevent them from assuming or regaining power.

When dictatorships do this, such as in the former Soviet Union, we call it a show trial because the verdict has been predetermined. The “hush money trial” was such a trial. The first such trial of an American president and head of the opposition in American history.

You don’t have to be a Trump supporter to recognize the trial as such.

Jonathan Turley—not a Trump supporter—a professor of law at George Washington University, has perfectly made the case for this being a show trial.

First, regarding the judge, Turley wrote:

“CNN legal analyst Elie Honig recently wrote that there should be concern over a judge being appointed (not randomly selected) who is not just a Biden donor but someone who has earmarked donations for [in the judge’s own words], ‘resisting the Republican Party and Donald Trump’s radical right-wing legacy.'”

“Adding to these concerns,” Turley writes, “is the movement of the third-highest official in the Biden Justice Department to the staff of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg to build the case against Trump. Before joining the case, Matthew Colangelo was also paid by the Democratic National Committee [DNC] for ‘political consulting.’ So Trump was convicted in a trial with a Biden donor judge, who has a daughter who is a major Democratic operative, a lead prosecutor previously paid as a DNC political consultant and a jury selected in a district that voted roughly 90% against Trump.”

Second, regarding the charges and the trial itself, Turley notes:

“Even liberal legal analysts have admitted that the case against Trump was unprecedented and would not have been brought against anyone other than Trump…

“The trial itself was a travesty. Even after sitting in the courtroom watching the trial and the verdict, I still have no idea what Trump was convicted of in the case…

“This was a thrill-kill conviction, and the response of many in the media bordered on the indecent. For many outside of Manhattan, the scene was repulsive and chilling. You can hate Donald Trump but still be repelled by the use of the criminal justice system for political purposes.”

Even the Trump-loathing Sen. Mitt Romney agrees. He told The Atlantic, a publication allied with the Democratic Party: “Bragg should have settled the case against Trump, as would have been the normal procedure. But he made a political decision. … Democrats think they can put out the Trump fire with oxygen. It’s political malpractice.”

Andrew C. McCarthy, a former assistant United States attorney for the Southern District of New York (which includes Manhattan) and no Trump fan, writes:

“The country we love has become unlovely. … Our system embodied the rule of law, the sturdy undercarriage of a free, prosperous, pluralistic society. Now, on its good days, it’s a clown show. On the bad days—there are far too many of those—it’s a political weapon…

“As the rule of law degrades into the rule of partisan lawyers, a constitutional republic inexorably decays into a banana republic. And it won’t take long. Again, this isn’t about Trump…

“To objective, experienced eyes, Alvin Bragg’s prosecution of Trump shocks the conscience. … The DA did not so much find a crime as manufacture one.”

What Bragg did was turn a misdemeanor—whose statute of limitations had expired—into a felony under a New York statute that requires an accompanying crime without ever explaining what that secondary crime was. Indeed, McCarthy observes, “the two federal entities that Congress endowed with exclusive authority to prosecute Federal Election Campaign Act (FECA) violations, the Justice Department and the Federal Election Commission, had thoroughly investigated Trump and determined not to take action. … Had this been a federal prosecution, Justice Department guidelines would have barred Bragg from slicing a single, trivial, nonviolent offense into 34 counts.”

As regards Judge Merchan, McCarthy writes: “Merchan ensured that actual federal law would not intrude. He denied Trump’s defense the right to call former FEC commissioner Bradley Smith, who would have explained” how Trump paying Stormy Daniels not to speak publicly about her allegation that she and Mr. Trump had once engaged in a one-night stand was “Bragg’s fairy tale that Trump stole the 2016 election by skirting FECA reporting requirements” and was “utter fiction, in addition to being legal nonsense.”

In other words, the corrupt judge prevented the most important expert defense witness from testifying on Trump’s behalf.

But the left got what it wanted: the right to label President Trump, in the words of the lead editorial in the similarly corrupt New York Times, “Donald Trump, Felon.”

We are bequeathing our children and grandchildren a completely different country than the one our parents, grandparents and Founders bequeathed to us.

BANANA REPUBLIC: Jury in Merchan’s Kangaroo Court Found Trump Guilty of 34 Felonies -- But DID NOT SPECIFY What Crime Trump Committed -- NO ONE KNOWS!

The jury in corrupt Judge Juan Merchan’s kangaroo court found President Trump guilty of 34 felonies on Thursday afternoon. Each felony conviction could land President Trump in prison for four years.

Judge Merchan told jurors they did not have to agree on a crime. This is unheard of in US history. The jury only had to agree something bad happened. This, of course, is completely unconstitutional.

This was clearly the greatest travesty of justice in American history.

So now we have a convicted US President with 34 felony counts and NO ONE knows what crime President Trump committed!

The jury never explained what crime Trump committed and was not required to explain what crime Trump committed.

Jonathan Turley spoke about this on Thursday following the verdicts.

Jonathan Turley: The instructions had that feel, I called it in a column yesterday of a canned hunt, where you actually shoot game in a cage. But in defense of some of those jurors, they may have not seen any alternative but conviction.

Keep in mind, this judge allowed the government to repeatedly tell them that it was a fact that an election violation occurred and that Trump had ordered it. Judge Mershan stayed absolutely silent during that statement. Over and over again, even though it violated his instruction.

To this day, we won’t know what the jury really decided on the conspiracy. I was in that courtroom listening to 34 guilty verdicts, but they didn’t say what the jury thought had happened. They were unanimous only that some crime, some secondary crime occurred.

Judge Mershan did not require them to reach unanimity on what that crime was. So, it’s going to go on appeal, and the appellate court won’t know any more than we have in terms of knowledge as to was this an election violation, another falsification of documents, a tax violation? That’s just simply not in the record.

Jonathan Turley is right. “Beyond a reasonable doubt” was replaced with “If the ground is wet, you can infer it rained.” This is now precedent in our American legal system.

The country may never recover from these lawfare travesties by the Marxists in power and the federal agencies that support them.

'Trans Activists' Arguing Over Whether They Should Commit Mass Suicide Or Mass Genocide To Accomplish Their Political Goals Is A Perfect Example Of How Fast & Far America Has Fallen.

I wonder if there is ever a moment while DHS Secretary Mayorkas is claiming that America’s borders are entirely secure and blaming “climate change” for the influx of tens of millions of illegal aliens into the United States when he thinks, “Wow, I am really full of BS. I mean, it is simply amazing how much BS I shovel down the American people’s throats every single day.”

The notion that powerful people lie to the public is certainly not new. You can go back through the centuries and find essays, songs, drawings, and folktales that all attest to the timeless truth that every generation sees its “rulers” as an unworthy camarilla of cutthroats, liars, backstabbers, and thieves. Still, the lies being told today are just so brazen. Damaging tornado? That’s what we get for driving cars. Too many white mathematicians? Obviously another bout of “systemic racism” rearing its ugly head. Trump’s beating Biden in the polls? Duh — that’s because America runs on “hate”!

Disney and other child-grooming companies keep telling us that the only way to protect America’s youth is to put them on puberty blockers and let them dance for skeevy adults. We used to call those skeevy adults “pedophiles,” but now the medical community insists that we treat them with more respect. I have trouble respecting a profession that wants me to respect child molesters. I also have trouble respecting a profession that pushes experimental “vaccines” on patients without their informed consent.

The fact that so few physicians have taken responsibility for their unscientific and unethical behavior during totalitarianism’s favorite overhyped pandemic feels like a giant whiff and strike three for medicine. Or maybe the white coats (“systemic racism” alert!) struck out four years ago when medical associations insisted that Antifa and BLM be allowed to burn down neighborhoods in the name of “social justice health,” while the rest of us were forced to stay inside and participate in the theatrical production of the “Great COVID Hoax.” A lot of MDs have BS degrees.

(ANP Emergency!: PLEASE donate to ANP! Due to the globalists war upon truth and the independent media, our monthly revenue has been cut by more than 80% so we need your help more now than ever before. Anything at all ANP readers can do to help us is hugely appreciated.)

PINO Joe Biden tells listeners (when he’s not tripping over his own words or feet) that “white supremacy” is the “most dangerous terrorist threat” in America. Really? I’ve never met a dreaded “white supremacist.” I’ve never even seen the elusive creature from a distance! I do know generations of Americans who grew up learning the valuable lesson that a person should be judged by the content of his character and not the color of his skin. The day before yesterday, we celebrated those moral people as colorblind Americans who were creating an integrated America and a better world.

Then the Democrat Party decided that “integration” was racist and that only the forced segregation that comes from oxymoronic DEI edicts and other race-based sorting programs will do. Those who don’t obsess over the color of another person’s skin are now deemed the worst kinds of racists, while those who glorify race over every other feature of a person’s identity are applauded for their enlightenment! The Old Democrats fought first for slavery and then for segregation. The New Democrats fight for welfare-dependent slavery and segregation. Yet they congratulate themselves for somehow being on the forefront of both progress and civil rights. What unbelievable BS!

In order to understand the enemy, I read a lot of articles from legacy media institutions (i.e., corporate vehicles for State-approved propaganda). When you dive into the slop and dross that win Pulitzers, you’ve got to hold your nose and suspend your capacity for critical thinking. If you can convince your brain cells to play dead for a while, you realize that the more prestigious the publication, the more likely its writers are pod people still plugged into the Matrix.

Anyway, the prestigious pod people are absolutely blown away by how spectacular Dementia Joe’s economy is and cannot understand why any American would doubt that we’re living through a golden age of splendor. I think, “Hello, McFly! Anybody Home?” Have you not been inside a grocery store in Inflation Joe’s America? Everything costs twice as much as it did before mail-in ballot fraud catapulted his senile corpse into office. Have you not filled up a car with gasoline or paid a home energy bill lately? The “green energy” Nazis have jacked up the cost of fuels everywhere in their insane war on hydrocarbons. Even public transportation lackeys are feeling the pinch, as bankrupt cities that are hemorrhaging taxpayers desperately seek to keep municipal budgets afloat by doubling the price of sitting next to a urinating drunk on the subway (warning: they pinch, too).

Everything’s gotten so expensive in Touchy-Feely-Woke-and-Woozy Joe’s America that being just plain poor — as opposed to destitute — has become a privilege! Bidenomics means that “99 Cents Only” stores must go out of business nationwide. Nobody can make a buck in this miserable economy. Unless you crossed into the country illegally — then Democrats will give you more money than they provide struggling military families. If you’re here legally, though, you’re out of luck. When McDonald’s is selling twenty dollar “value meals,” chicken wings cost more than illegal drugs, and thrift stores are the most popular shopping spots in town, life feels a little Great Depression-y. Ooh, but don’t tell the geniuses at The New York Times or The Washington Post. To them, Biden Land is a magical place where middle class parents get to work multiple jobs just to make ends meet! How dreamy…in a dystopian BS kind of tragedy!

The boneheads at The Economist are always telling me (in some hoity-toity-posh-and-snobby accent, no less) that Americans have nothing to complain about because food and energy prices are so much worse in Europe. What kind of a-hole tells a person who’s being robbed to stop complaining because there are even worse robbers sticking it to the blokes on the other side of the pond? I don’t find remedial comfort from the knowledge that the criminals running Old Europe might be worse than the criminals destroying the New World here at home. I say, “Throw all the parasites out — whether they feed on the people from the banks of the Potomac, Thames, Seine, or Spree!” The Bastille might lie in rubble, but I hear the Tower of London provides lovely lodgings this time of year. Oh, dear. Did I just commit a “hate crime” by gluing a few words together in a syntactically impermissible way? How dreadfully felonious of me. Somewhere there’s a self-hating Scot who secretly roots for Edward Longshanks over William Wallace during showings of Braveheart just itching to punish me for dabbling in free speech. To that, I say, “Shut it, ya bampot dobber!” Aye, what bollocky BS.

I don’t know. Maybe it’s just me. Maybe everything’s fine, and what I see as pervasive BS is really some imaginary MAGA bugaboo playing tricks in my head. On the other hand, here’s a two hour and twenty-three minute video of Joe Biden — supposedly the president of the United States — struggling to string words together and form cogent thoughts. Here’s an article about an Oregon professor who blames “climate change” on a “surplus” of “white nationalism.” (Spoiler Alert: if we have too much of something, I guess we have to eliminate some white people.) Here’s a Reuters article whining that “climate change” is having a harmful impact on “Indonesian Trans Sex Workers.” Here’s a whole brouhaha on Reddit in which “trans” activists are arguing “whether they should commit mass suicide or mass genocide to accomplish their political goals.” And here’s an NBC local news affiliate blaming New Jersey’s recent earthquake on man-made “climate change.”

Nah, I must be right on this one. We’re neck deep in nuclear-grade BS today.

Gloat While You Still Can.

In the pre-gloat hours before the verdict in Judge Juan Merchan’s courtroom, Lawfare caporegime Andrew Weissmann (“Mueller’s Pitbull”) confessed Valley Girl style from his MSNBC clubhouse perch, “I mean, I am, like, now I have a man-crush on him, he is such a great judge!” Bromance on, looks like! If the two happen to frequent the same athletic club in downtown Manhattan, Judge Merchan better be careful in the post-workout shower when he bends over to pick up the soap. The Pitbull cometh!

Of course, the Alvin Bragg victory in the artfully constructed “Stormy Daniels Payoff Case” decided late Thursday calls to question how come the Mueller Special Counsel Probe into 2016 election interference (actually run by Mr. Weissmann, due to Mr. Mueller’s declining cognitive ability) failed to spot the same web of evidence — hard as they toiled, and they had a good two years and millions of taxpayer dollars to git’er done?

My guess: too many white lawyers on the Mueller staff. Everybody knows now from watching the latest crop of television commercials that white people are unusually stupid and helpless and cannot cope with common problems without assistance from helpful people of color (POCs). So, God bless Alvin Bragg for finally fixing what Bob Mueller’s fifteen bloodhounds led by a pitbull somehow botched.

The former president is now convicted on thirty-four counts of book-keeping errors in furtherance of an alleged 2016 federal election violation that the Federal Election Commission declined to charge — that is, paying a porn star to sign a non-disclosure agreement about a sexual liaison — because it is not a crime under federal election law, and about which the head of the FEC, James E. “Trey” Trainor III, was barred by Judge Merchan from testifying on during the course of the trial for reasons yet unknown.

Of course, that is but one of a great many points of law that will merit appeal in what everybody — even some white people (people of non-color, PONCs) — knows was a case so crookedly contrived that it is fated to get tossed in the higher courts, and probably with harsh remonstrance to the degenerate officers of the court who brought it and adjudicated it. But you will have to wait on that because the mills of the law grind slowly.

Now, in the radiance of the full Woke gloat, we await Judge Merchan’s sentence, to be announced a mere few days before the Republican Convention in Milwaukee in early July. Jail time at Rikers? Home confinement (with ankle bracelet)? Severe travel restrictions? Reporting to a parole officer? Drug tests? Hey, No one is above the law! It is hard to imagine that the judge will demur from inflicting maximum humiliation on this wanton repeat violator (thirty-four times!) of book-keeping errors. It would tend to interfere with the presidential candidate’s campaign schedule, but so what? Where does it say in the Constitution that an election must be fair?

Or Judge Merchan could suspend all that pending appeal and just allow Mr. Trump to go about his election business free on bail. But why would he? After all the trouble he went to. And all the glory he’s reaping for it. “Joe Biden’s” party has Mr. Trump exactly where they want him, they think: pinned down like a moth in a shadow-box, inert and pathetic. (But, in reality, more like King Kong, chained in the rank basement below the stage of a Broadway theater before busting loose in midtown and upending subway cars so as to devour the little humans tumbling out like so many tic-tacs.)

Expect Mr. Trump’s lawyers to file writs to the SCOTUS requesting expedited attention to the denial of due process issues and the election interference question. The situation is comparable to the year 2000 presidential race, where the SCOTUS stepped in on probable cause that the lower court (in Florida that time) had violated the Equal Protection clause of the constitution.

In the meantime, through the luminescent fog of gloat, perhaps you did not notice that “Joe Biden” took a giant step yesterday toward commencing World War Three. The move was framed as the US gives Ukraine permission to use American missiles to strike deep within Russia. That was a bit disingenuous, you see, because Ukraine’s military lacks the know-how to actually launch the missiles, so American military “advisors” will have to be on hand to do it, meaning US military personnel will commit an act of aggression upon Russia.

Voila! That world war you’ve all been clamoring for. . .? The perfect climax to “Joe Biden’s” catastrophic, fraudulently-acquired term in office. I scent the acrid, burnt-flesh odor of miscalculation here, as of a bunch of American cities get turned into radioactive bonfires that will blot out that sublime luminosity of gloat.

Apparently, the “Joe Biden” team has never seen a Clint Eastwood movie — too lowbrow, I’m sure — and they don’t grok the role of the underdog in the American psyche. They have succeeded in making Donald Trump the greatest underdog in US history under the direst circumstances the nation may have ever faced — worse than Valley Forge, Bull Run, or Ardennes Forest. Sinister forces are driving the country straight into a communo-fascist despotism alien to our nation’s very soul, demonic forces bent on depriving Americans of their rights, their property, and their liberty. This is the “all-in-lost” moment in that movie. This is where the hero comes back from the edge of eternal darkness, raging like Kali the Destroyer to smite the cowards arrayed against him, against the country’s honor, against the people. You asked for it. Now you’re going to get it.
