As of this holiday morning, America is informed that the negotiations between the US and Iran may take several more days to resolve. You better believe that Iran is going to make a deal. One way or another, they will give up their stash of sixty-percent enriched uranium. Nobody believes they would not attempt to make bombs with it, especially Mr. Trump. So, Iran will not be going back to whatever is considered normal life until they agree to give it up, and then make it happen. Iran is like a demon-possessed teenager with a firearm getting its head banged into the sidewalk. What part of give-it-up don’t you understand?

The news media apparently forgot what it broadcast a couple of weeks ago: Iran’s oil storage capacity was nearing the red-line. If the wells have to be shut-in, such is the geology that it would wreck the oil fields themselves. Perhaps this is happening now. Nobody is reporting on it. But the news media doesn’t really report on anything. It opines. It spins. It constructs story-lines for advantage, it gaslights, it perverts the consensus about reality out of existence, it just plain lies.

If Iran is jerking the US around again, this will be the last time. They will prove to be negotiation-incapable, as the Russian phrase goes. They will punch their own express ticket back to the 12th century, lights out, bridges down across the rugged terrain, back to donkey carts, magic lamps, and vizeers instead of mullahs.

Why does America’s lefty-left beat its drum for an Iranian victory when 1) it’s not happening, and 2) it’s hardly in the interest of Western Civ for anything like that to happen? You can conclude that they hate and despise Western Civ, especially anything that resembles America’s traditional sense-of-self: a republic based on civic and economic liberty. Liberty means individuals making their own decisions within an armature of laws written in good faith, to mean what they say.

The Lefty-left is mainly about acquiring power through bad faith in order to push everyone around, tell them what they’re allowed to want out of life, and severely punish anyone who objects to that treatment. What’s often overlooked is the role that sadism plays in the psychology of the Lefty-left. They seem to love it when illegal aliens rape and strangle 19-year-old American girls. (You don’t hear them deplore it, do you? Their house-organ, The New York Times, won’t even report it.) More than anything they want to subject you to the most savage humiliations.

We are at a dangerous pass this Memorial Day. Mr. Trump and his people are methodically rearranging the works to expel these grifting demons. Their resistance to being expelled will manifest in ever more dirty fighting as spring blossoms into a summer of violent “activism.” They will try as hard as possible to wreck the country’s 250th birthday celebrations. It might look like civil war. They will not stop trying to kill Donald Trump and possibly other figures around him. Even if they manage that, it will not stop what it is coming for them.

This time around nobody believes their sob stories, their whining about “oppression,” their bullshit about “equity” and “justice.” This time, they will not be allowed to get away with sheer lawlessness. They will not be able to pass off fake martyrs such as George Floyd. The elections this time — if they can happen — will be clean and fair. That can be the only way they will be allowed to happen.

This will be the most emphatic counter-revolution in modern history, a complete rejection of childish unreality — the cavalcade of absurdities you have been told to swallow for a mad decade: that you can change your sex “assigned at birth.” (Assigned by whom? By some cosmic committee of gender komisars?) That merit has no merit (don’t be good at anything). That men and maleness represent some inferior way of being human? That people from outside American society, from faraway lands, deserve to live here under a special gift economy of vast subsidies, at your expense, to set up antagonistic counter-cultures? That words don’t mean what they mean?

Expect the pace to quicken now, even with Tulsi Gabbard gone. Her operational deputy DNI, Aaron Lukas, is a proven, capable warrior. Most of the critical information has already been recovered from the Deep State’s vaults, hidden rooms, burn bags, and SCIFs. The adjudication of crimes against our country will be spooling out the next hundred days as a vivid and orderly counterpoint to whatever nose-ringed chaos the Democrats send out into the streets. The republic will celebrate its 250th birthday by carrying-on as it was designed to do, while the demons skulk back into the shadows until the next great turning.

A Day In The Life.

Up at 8:00a on Saturday, a cold, rainy 63°F, cloudy sky, breezy morning, I upped the heat, made coffee, fired-up the Win-7 Pentium HP Desktop to let its 32 million lines of code load, had breakfast, had a couple smokes in the garage and checked the leftover errands list. I scanned the weather -- rainy holiday weekend -- and the breaking news websites, tuned into a "CP Show" Podcast 12-3p, on local WSBA-910, and relaxed for the morning.

Nowhere to go, nothing to do, and no one to do it with.

The rain, often heavy downpours, continued all day. No errands today, so I got ready for the day and watched the Indy 500 Qualifying Trials, and the F-1 Canada GP Race Sprint Qualifying.

I did some minor condo chores, took a short nap, watched the evening news and unplugged around 1a.

Up at 9:15a on Sunday, still raining, a chilly 51°, so I bumped up the heat a bit, made coffee and checked the desktop for news and weather. I got ready for the day, started a load of laundry, and did some condo chores. Everything's closed tomorrow for Memorial Day, so I won't be doing the usual 2-4 stop trip south of York. I watched the Indy 500 Race until 6:30p, and skipped the TRASHCAR Coke 600 race, had a few beers with a neighbor, and opted to call it quits, early.

Up at 8:15a on Monday, a rainy, cool 56°, I upped the heat, made coffee and scanned the news and weather. The "Best of CP" was on, since today is a travel day for most taking the 4-day holiday weekend. The lawn care crews were noisily spreading mulch from a screaming tractor bucket, and will be back tomorrow, so that ruined my morning.

I did some chores, watched the evening news, and switched to History's epic "Wprld War II" series, until 11:30p, and bagged it for the day. My cleaning lady's in at 8:30a.

Up at 6a, on Tuesday, a foggy, sunny, 69° morning, noisy w/ lawn care crews mulching, and leaf blowers screaming. I left the AC at 72°, made coffee and scanned the news and weather websites. JoAnne arrived at 8:30, and got to work. I tuned into the "CP Show, from 9-12. had some financial matters to take care of, so I made a call. When it was time for the office-sunroom to be cleaned, I got out of the way and hit the LR couch for an hour.

After lunch, I woked on some niggling paperwork, took a short walk to the community mailboxes, and got the garbage/recyclables bins ready to go out a day late, due to the holiday. I watched the evening news at 6p, and switched to History's "Secret of Skinwalker Ranch" and "The Proof Is Out There", until 1a. Lights out.

Up at 7a on Wednesday, a rainy, warm 68°, I left the AC at 73°, made coffee and scanned the news and weather. I tuned into the "CP Show", from 9-12, while taking several phone calls, and doing a reschedule of the week, due to *pain*. I skipped lunch, spent the afternoon taking aspirin and Tramadol, and some LR couch time, which alleviated the pain. I had dinner, watched the evening news, and switched to Discovery's "Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch" and "Expedition Files", and unplugged at 12 midnight.

Up at 7a on Thursday, a cool 56°, dry, sunny, blue sky morning, I turned-off the AC, opened the front and back screendoors, made coffee and... the FRICKIN' LAWNMOWER CREWS WERE STILL WORKING AND lawnmowers, FERTILIZER MACHINES, LEAF BLOWERS, WEED WHACKER MACHINES WERE MAKING EAR SPLITTING NOISE!. Clouds of dust, dirt, pollen, clippings flying everywhere -- I had to close the condo once again! That crap just doesn't end!

I tuned into the usual "CP Show" from 9-12, and planned the day. I took a drive to Flinchbaugh's Orchard & Farm Market, in nearby Hallam, to get some food items and some peace and quiet, from the damned lawsn care machines. Afterward, on my way home, I stopped at the Wellspan "Stonybrook Lab" in East York, and got the bloodwork done for 2 of my Drs, and finally got home, and unloaded the food goodies. I had lunch around 2p, and hit the LR couch for a 2+hr snooze.

6p came early, I watched the evening news, then switched to History's "Ancient Aliens" and TWC's "Deadline To Disaster" until 1a, and bagged it for the night.

I slept-in until 9:30a on Friday, a clear sky, sunny, less humid, 65° morning, turned-off the AC, made coffee, and tuned into the ongoing "CP Show". After breakfast, I checked email and scanned the news and weather websites. Sweet Sherry's here around 1p, and it'll be good to see her after a week.

I opened-up the condo to get some fresh, but getting warmer air, thru the place, got ready for the day, and Sherry was here around 1. We had 5 wonderful hours together, and soon I was caught-up on all news with her and the Family. She left just after 6p, with a stop to make on her way home, I watched the evening news, in progress and switched to History's "The unXplained" and TWC's "Weather Gone Viral" until 11:30, and quit for the night.

Today starts a new week, here in the "Journal", and I have a mid-week Dr's app't, but otherwise, a clear week. I'll call Sherry over the weekend, and we'll get something set-up for us.

Basic Disconnect Between Democrats, Common Sense, and Truth.

The Democrats and the media (but I’m repeating myself) are profoundly dishonest, and there are a lot of “experts” they hire, with our tax dollars, who are even more dishonest.

I have degrees in statistical analysis and political science. I’m not an expert at anything, except research and eighth-grade math. But I’ve spotted a basic disconnect between the Democrats, common sense and the truth.

We had a president issue blanket pre-emptive pardons on his way out the door, to his entire family and his closest political allies, for crimes that nobody even knows about, that may or may not have been committed.

And for all the pardons except his son’s, there’s no indication that he even read them. He was hopelessly senile. A POC/LGBTQ committee, operating him like a Muppet every day for four years, signed those pardons with an Autopen.

Basic common sense dictates that it stinks like three-day-old roadkill in August. And the left-wing propaganda minions at CNN and MSDNC roll down the window, let the stench pour in, and don’t bat an eyelash.

In the waning days of the Muppeteer Committee’s frantic efforts to cling to its remaining shreds of power, Americans witness yet another stunning victory for accountability, as the Department of Justice reached a settlement in the long-running saga of illegal IRS targeting of Donald Trump.

Far from the corrupt enrichment scheme peddled by the Democrats’ propaganda bureaus, this outcome represented a principled stand against weaponized government. Trump could have pocketed $10 billion in statutory damages (26 U.S.C. § 7431) for this breathtaking breach of his private tax records while a private citizen.

Instead, he directed those resources toward an Anti-Weaponization Fund. It isn’t an “insurrection slush fund,” as detractors claim. This $1.7 billion fund will aid ordinary Americans, regardless of their political party, who are victimized by the same bureaucratic tyranny.

The lunatics of the left-wing fringe, predictably apoplectic, spun this as some unprecedented sweetheart deal. Yet once again, the facts tell a different story. Trump received zero dollars personally. The audits against his businesses were dropped only for pre-settlement conduct — not some blanket immunity. The fund itself offers relief to citizens across the political spectrum who suffered under the politicized assaults of Lawfare apparatchiks.

Compare this restraint to the Biden Crime Syndicate’s Autopen orgy of self-dealing. Blanket, pre-emptive pardons shielded Hunter and James Biden, Mark Milley, Anthony Fauci, the entire January 6 Committee and all of its staff and witnesses from scrutiny over crimes both known and unknown, complete with an 11-year window of protection and zero public accountability.

The Trump settlement wasn’t corruption; it was restitution.

Previous administrations, including Obama’s (Keepseagle v. Vilsack, $760 million), funneled massive tax-funded settlements through the Judgment Fund without congressional appropriation — often against the advice of career officials — and received glowing coverage from the usual suspects.

When Trump employs the same mechanism to shield past and future victims, rather than enrich himself, suddenly it’s a constitutional crisis.

The sheer hypocrisy reveals the 11 years of Lawfare waged against the former — and future — president: endless tax-funded investigations, prosecutions, civil lawsuits, choreographed leaks, and impeachments designed not to pursue justice, but to badger and cripple a political opponent.

The Democratic Party Deep State (DPDS) and its media allies have long treated the tax code, intelligence agencies, and courts as weapons.

Discriminatory denial of tax-exempt status to Tea Party groups, followed by Lois Lerner’s mysterious hard drive crash, erasing all her emails? The press says, “We’re not interested.” Unauthorized leaks of Trump’s returns? Crickets from the press about the leaker’s federal felony, but what he leaked induced a media feeding frenzy. Biden family influence-peddling, documented across continents, bringing in untaxable millions from hostile foreign governments — even terrorist groups and drug cartels? “Nothing to see here.” The pattern is unmistakable: one set of rules for the DPDS ruling class, another for everyone else.

Trump’s decision to forgo personal gain in favor of a compensation pool for Jan. 6 defendants, FACE Act targets, and other victims of political persecution exposes the fraud at the heart of the “democracy dies in darkness” crowd.

Congress has shown zero appetite for legislating remedies for these citizens. This fund was the only practical path forward.

The propaganda bureaus for the Democratic Party, of course, demand “judicial oversight” now — as if the partisan Democrats in judicial robes, who delivered one anti-Trump decision after another, only to be reversed on appeal and sometimes unanimously scolded by the Supreme Court, are impartial arbiters.

No prior president has ever endured this volume of simultaneous legal warfare, financial record leaks, and targeted audits. Pretending this is business as usual requires a suspension of disbelief that only the most devoted Useful Idiots of the DPDS regime can muster.

Ultimately, this settlement underscores a deeper truth. While the lunatics of the left-wing fringe hyperventilate about “threats to democracy,” the real danger has always been the unaccountable DPDS administrative state, operating as an extension of one political party.

Eleven years of Lawfare have failed. Americans see through the smokescreen, and rendered their verdict in November 2024.

True leadership means rejecting personal windfalls, to protect innocent “little guys” from past and future abuses — the exact opposite of the Biden model of “family, cronies and political tribe first, country last.”

The American people, exhausted by this spectacle and the parallel LGBTQ, transgender, DEI and “climate catastrophe” sideshow freaks, are poised to deliver their verdict at the ballot box once again this fall.
