by now, all of us and America are infected with the worst possible leftist, Marxist, socialist, treasonous, hate-America-filled government administration, to ever come down the pike. And it's going to get a whole lot worse, in a few more months.

What Ted Cruz (R-TX) did, was symbolic and valiant, but a useless gesture, like a butterfly's fart-in-the-wind.

The political ruling class no longer listens to us serfs and peons. They whiz on our legs and tell us it's raining.

Among others, Thomas Jefferson warned that the financial disaster we now face would be but one of many problems paper money would visit upon us if we allowed our “leaders” to remove the backing from the currency, to wit:

“When the servants if the people are paid with something other than that which the people themselves have produced – the real, tangible products of their labors or some fixed and real medium of that exchange – the roles of master and servant will be reversed.”

It was believed by Roger Sherman and a majority of those at the Constitutional Convention that un-backed currency would so damage the fabric of the nation that they ATTEMPTED to prohibit it with these few words at Article 1, Section 10, requiring the states to enforce the prohibition: "No State shall…make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts."

If the people and their states grew inattentive to this matter – and they have! – Jefferson also saw this problem ahead:

In a letter to John Taylor in 1816, he wrote, “And I sincerely believe, with you, that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies; and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity, under the name of funding, is but swindling futurity on a large scale.”

We have been "... swindling futurity ..." for a long time and this is now where we find ourselves. If the government, through its banker masters at the Federal Reserve, can create “money” from thin air, they certainly don't need ours every April 15th. That annual sheep shearing is simply an attempt to vacuum enough of the excess paper from the system to keep the rest of us from catching on to the biggest theft ring in the history of man. They have now created so much that their attempt is failing and failing badly to a point where all but the dullest among us (Obama voters and his growing cadres of personal and corporate welfare beneficiaries) are starting to “get it.”

If you understood that last paragraph, you can now make the small leap to an understanding as to why the “progressive” utopian welfare state hacks in Washington don't give a damn WHAT you think. Their power to create all the “money” they need to fuel their infernal machine and fill the gaping maws of enough of those hoards of welfare constituents to assure their perpetual re-election means that – ready – THEY NO LONGER NEED YOU! They have become, as Mr. Jefferson predicted, our MASTERS.

That they are taking down a nation and a system that has provided more wealth, safety and abundance to more people than any other in history matters not to them. Failing to grasp the lesson of the French Revolution, they believe themselves to be above the impending disaster.

We're running out of time to get this increasingly ravenous beast back into the cage from which we have carelessly allowed it to escape.

A Day In The Life

Friday morning at 5:45 was a "balmy" but cloudy day in the upper-50s, but I still flipped-on the heat for a short while, to take the night's chill off the Condo. I made French-Roast, Turkish-Grind Coffee (from whole, freshly-ground Starbuck's® Dark French Roast Fresh Ground Beans) with my Chemex® Drip System, fresh-squeezed OJ w/ lots of pulp, fed the birds as usual, and checked the news and weather sites. Since I'd closed email early last evening, there were a lot to scan, go thru and answer. I had to meet with some neighbors and get my copies of last nights CHCA paperwork etc, from the Annual Meeting. I drove over to Dad's at 8:45am and saw that all four utilities had marked the gas, water, sewer and electric, as required by law, before the sidewalk, driveway and landscaping began. The massive load of Hanover pavers arrives Monday morning, as does the ComCast Tech Guy, on another matter, but we'll be anxious to get it all underway. We talked about the new realtor I'd met with yesterday, and suddenly, my old realtor 2yrs called and said he had a "hot" prospect and needed to show her the place on Sunday; I gave him permission, Looks like Dad & Becky

have 1-2 new squirrels getting ready to set-up shop in the detached 2 car garage, for the Winter, They already making a mess up in the rafter platforms with leaves, straw and twigs. Dealing with the is going to be another bitch, as I did it with two others this past Spring. Not having been bitten of stung in 26yrs, I got stung on my thumb, while trying to nail a black wasp in Dad's Sunroom, and he got away. I pulled the tiny stinger out, put some toothpaste on it to take the pain away, and it worked. I left for home at 12:15pm, after stopping for a carton of Marlboros.

I finally made two stacks of Crusty French Toast & Bacon, for lunch, and listened to the morning's missed Chris Plante Show Podcast until 6, and then the usual Mark Levin Show came on until 9pm. I was fading, but stayed-up to watch commentary of the US Senate BS antics they played today with America's future: pitiful. By 10:30pm, I was tired of reading about the Senate corruption, lies, treason, and BS that 95% of the Senators had pulled over our collective eyes. I shut down, armed the Condo, and went upstairs to bed.

Up at 6:45am on Saturday, I wasn't feeling well. I made coffee, skipped OJ and breakfast, and laid down on the LR couch until it got light outside. At 47°F, although it was still "nippy"

outside, I went out for a short walk around the Condo complex, to get some fresh air; that helped a little. Later, after reading the news and weather sites, and checking email, I made a Soft-Boiled Eggs w/ Bacon and toast, and managed to keep that down. I also ate some aspirin and laid back down for an hour to rest. I had to get my usual Monday laundry/change-the-bed day done by tomorrow, since I'll be at Dad's at 7:30am all week to supervise the new sidewalk, driveway apron and landscaping, plus I have an eye Dr's exam on Friday. Busy week ahead. Feeling better, I did paperwork and paid bills, all afternoon, plus the first load of laundry. I baked-off 6 Chicken Cordon Bleu with fresh-made Classic Hollandaise Sauce, containerized them for tomorrow and Tuesday lunches while in the field. Later, I listened to the 2 previous weeks of Chris Plante Show Podcasts, while checking my Sunday morning's food shopping list, doing paperwork and filing. By 11:30pm, it was time to get some shut-eye, so I armed the Condo, shut-it-down and took a trip to la-la-land.

Sunday morning at 6am was noticeably cooler, at 40°F, than any previous day so far, but at least I wasn't feeling sick. I cranked-up the heat to 78°F, made coffee, OJ and checked the weather and news sites, while I scanned the morning's food shopping list. Time for a dietary change: no more lunchmeat sandwiches, mayo and breads for a while. I've got to get some weight off as we go into Winter, since I won't be that active. I revised the list and left at 9am. I drove to Weis Market, got my list filled in 10-15 mins, packed the Jeep and stopped next at Weis Gas-N-Go, for a

50¢/gal credit from $329 to $2.79, I got 18.7gals for the 2002 Jeep's 20gal tank; the last tank netted me 14.3mpg of in-town driving. That sucks, but with almost 300k on the vehicle, it's not unexpected. I went at Dad's to visit with him and Becky, recheck the week's deliveries and construction schedules, got his laptop back-up procedure done, and came home around 12:15pm. After unpacking and putting away everything, my neighbor cam over with two jammed .30-.06cal lever rifles and I cleared them of all ammo for him; they needed cleaning, so I helped him with them down in my basement shop, workshop bench. I had a large piece of Becky's delicious Meatloaf w/ Bacon for lunch, did 3 more loads of laundry, bed linen change and I was finished by 4pm. I listened to some "Gun Talk Podcasts" and watched 4 new episodes of "First Person Defender" Series until 8, when the "Gun Talk" Live Stream came on, working on my own firearms until 11pm, and followed it on a forum's thread. By 11:30, I was tired, and since I needed to be at Dad's by 7:30am tomorrow, decided to pack it in for the night.

I was awake and up at 5am on Monday, made coffee, and OJ, gathered my stuff to take along to Dad's for the day, checked the weather and news sites, email and left at 7:30. Traffic was very heavy (for York, Pa), but I made it just after 8am. Damn, I forgot my camera! There were 5 contractors scheduled for the day: hardscapers, paver manufacturer, roofers, Comcast tech and landscapers. Suddenly, the

cul-de-sac Dad lives on, was getting crowded, and I was dealing with all of them; too much, too fast. But all fell in-line and choreographers itself with no one tripping over each other. Hanover Industries delivered 4½ pallets of specially-chosen color pavers; the hardscapers and landscaper arrived to remove the front walk before and after, driveway apron, foundation landscaping and dispose; Comcast worked on Becky's laptop and iPad and the house network; roofers sealed-up a small roof soffit gap which had again let in destructive grey squirrels. By 12noon, the "choreographed chaos" had subsided, the hardscapers/landscapers remained and worked until 4pm. I had 2 Chicken Cordon Bleu and some of Becky's killer Egg & Olive Salad. I left at 2pm to get some other things done, and will be back by 9am the rest of the week, except Friday, when I have a 10am Eye Dr's app't. I listened to the morning's missed Chris Plante Show Podcast until 6pm, when the usual Mark Levin Show came on from 6-9pm. While watching the dipshits in the US Senate, purposely trying to jam 0samboCare down our throats and shut-down the US Government, I applied for my Social Security Account, online, but won't start drawing until I'm 65, in less than two years. I got my most recent Benefits & Earnings Statements, for my files. Decent amounts, if I wait until full retirement. Tired, I closed down, armed the Condo, and called it a day at 11:30pm.

even notices? Shit-for-brainless lib-dems and 0bummer-boy didn't get their way, and the Repubs pulled a partial plug, for "non-essential services", which should have included all 3 branches of the wasteful, commie/marxist gov't of 0sambo&Co. The clueless Repubs will get blamed by the lickspittle gov't-media scumbags, but who cares? DO IT! Gee whiz; national parks closed and the "Panda Cams" stopped working? BFD! Shut the whole damned thing down! Defund 0shithead-Care!

After only 5 hours of sleep, I was up at 4:45am on Tuesday, 60°F, made coffee, OJ and had a Buttery & Flaky Croissant. I checked the weather and news sites, scanned email and read more about the so-called "gov't shutdown", which isn't a shut-down at all. We continue to have exceptional weather for, hopefully, finishing-up this week's multiple hardscape/landscape projects at Dad's. My cleaning lady arrived at 8:30, and I left for North York. Because of construction on I-83, the traffic on Rt30 west was heavy, and I was literally boxed-in my yellow school busses. The hardscaper's crew chief was already at Dad's for the day, shooting grades with a laser transit (I had one for my Garden Center, which 3 crews used), laying-out my revised sidewalk measurements and boundaries, underground drainage system I'd designed, getting the crushed stone base ready-to-install, so there wasn't much for me to do, except stay out of his way and let him get the job done. I worked on some projects on Dad's computer, checking on the hardscape progress every 45mins, but decided to leave at 12:30pm, when the crew chief pulled-off the job, for lunch. I know when to get in someone's face about a problem, and when to stand back, if the person is a professional, like myself. I left for home, made a couple of stops at the cleaners and an oriental rug store, and got back by 1:30. Temps were already up to 79°F and rising; "Indian Summer" was upon us.

I went out for a leisurely walk, and ran into several neighbors walking their dogs, and who were among the many "snowbirds" in the Condo

Complex, who leave for Florida, by October 15th. Hells bells, the place is half-unoccupied from Oct 15th thru May 15th. Back home by 3pm, I had a late lunch of Meatloaf w/ Mashed Potatoes and Corn, and listened to the morning's missed Chris Plante Show Podcast until 6pm, when the usual Mark Levin Show came on from 6-9pm. By 9:30, temps had dropped into the low-60s, but it was warm enough to keep the AC on low, for the night. I scanned the CATV channel on my large, wide computer screen, and listened to the moronic media's idiotic talking head gnashing teeth and wetting themselves about the "gov't shutdown", about how the Repubs are 100% responsible for it. Total BS. By 10pm, I closed down, armed the place, and went up to sleep.

Up again at 5am on Wednesday, I made coffee and OJ, skipped breakfast, scanned the weather and news sites, and checked email as it finally got light at 7am, on a 52°F morning. With 82°F forecast for the day, most people were oblivious that the Plains is already getting snow, and we won't be far behind; it's going to be an early and bad Winter, IMO. We're overdue for a relatively bad one, like '93, '96, '03 and '10. No matter; we'll get thru it just fine, as we've done with all of the others. We may not survive 0bummerCare (ACA), but we'll probably survive Mother Nature's wrath. My former realtor emailed and said he's got a "hot prospect" for the GC&N sale, but that "financing"

will be an issue. That's been the problem with all of his "prospects" for the past 2 years, and why I had to let his contract expire and take on another realty company. I left at 8:45am, for Dad's, to check-on and supervise the ongoing projects. I'm glad I did, as the hardscapers hit numerous underground "surprises", and we're going to be 1 pallet short of Hanover® Appian® Random Tumbled "South Mountain Sand®", which I quickly re-ordered from Glen-Gery® Co, and which will be delivered next Monday morning. They hit unmarked, dual electric wires in metal pipes, running to the driveway lamp post(s) (should have been marked by Met-Ed Co, but weren't)), two huge chunks of concrete against the foundation, obstructing the new downspout system, large tree roots everywhere, and had to re-cut the driveway apron edges area twice, and re-clean the trench each time, as its saw-cut edges kept breaking-off until they cut back to thicker macadam. A clean cut was needed to lay the random rows of pavers against, in the new apron area. The re-cutting/enlarging of that and other areas will now require more "South Mountain Sand®" pavers, so I had to order another full pallet of 288 blocks in 4 sizes. We'd calculated pretty close on the pavers, so we wouldn't have 100-200 left over; now it's a moot point, and we will have leftovers. Always better to have too many, than not enough. The roof/downspout underground drainage system I designed, had to be re-routed farther away from the sidewalk than needed, to clear some other pipes, which were marked by the utility companies. Always something, isn't it? Anytime you open the ground up, it's always a surprise, as you never know what's under the soil, or buried in it, especially on older homes and properties. The unexpected delays and extra pavers cost almost a half day, and will put us over budget.

By 1pm, there was nothing more which required me there, and I left to run some errands and go home. Temps were up to 81°F, but still very pleasant. I was back by 2:30, made a Hot Turkey Sandwich w/ Fries and Crusty Bread, and caught the mornings missed Chris Plante Show Podcast until 6pm, when the usual Mark Levin Show came

on from 6-9pm. By 9:45pm, I'd finished some paperwork, revised the landscape sketch for the paver company's guys once again, and was tired enough to call it quits. I armed the Condo, shut-down and went upstairs.

I slept-in until 5:30am on Thursday, already a balmy 54°F, and a forecast high of 82°F. I made the usual coffee, had some Del Monte® Mandarin Oranges and skipped breakfast; I'll take a bananna along for the morning's fare, and have lunch when I get back from Dad's, later. After scanning the news and weather, and checking email, I left at 8:45. When I arrived, there was only the hardscape company's mason on-the-job, but the front driveway apron's 4-5" base was in, as was the front walk's 2 downspouts' drainage system and sidewalk base. The 2" builder's sand layer went in next on the driveway apron, and soon the apron block was being dry-laid. My ancient (2005) 2002 Kodak Easy-Share DX3900 Digital Camera's 3-yr old rechargeable battery pack died – I have 2 new units at home – so I got two AA batteries from Dad, to finish shooting a few pics, and will post the rest of the project in next Friday's "Journal". I left around 12:15pm, stopped at the eye doctor's office to confirm tomorrow morning's appointment, and went home. For lunch, I started-in on a plate of Yankee Pot Roast and crusty Italian bread spread with garlic paste, butter & fresh parsley, listened to Rush for an hour, and went out for a walk around the area. High for the day was 81°F. By 4pm, I was back to do some

paperwork, with the mornings missed Chris Plante Show Podcast until 6pm, when the usual Mark Levin Show came on from 6-9pm. I stayed-up until 10:30pm, to watch the CATV news reports of the wacko woman in the rental car going nuts in DC, after hearing so many wrong and idiotic reports all afternoon. Meh. Time to sleep.

Tomorrow starts a new week here in the "Journal", with heavy t-storms and rain coming Sunday and Monday, setting us back another 1-2 days on the 3 projects, at Dad's. I 'm waiting to hear from my former realtor about a possible sale of the GC N Complex, and will still need to go to a meeting with the two agents from Rock Commercial, to hear their presentation and recommendation for them to become my new commercial realty agency. Plus, I need to get over to Sherry's and do some transplanting this Fall, and tag a number of other plants for Spring transplanting and after-bloom pruning. Hey Sweetie; I haven't forgotten – (((smile))) – I'm just up to my eyeballs in alligators, right now. I'll be there as soon as I can, and I promise you that it'll look great! Plus, I'm helping Becky look for a "certain condo or house" to conform to her high standards. Me; I can sleep in a tent or in my Jeep, if need be. School and property taxes are due on the 15th. and I've got to get my Condo prepped for the coming bad Winter. Count on it; we're way overdue.

Are you truly ready for when, not if, TSHTF (The Shit Hits The Fan). And a lot of my "Journal" Readers have emailed and called me to discuss what preparations they should take for that "coming awful event". Believe me, "it" IS coming. Based upon what's happening around the world and here in the US, I have a terrible, terrible *gut feeling* that TSWHTF (The Shit Will Hit The Fan), sometime in late-2012 or in early-2013. Don't ask why; I just do.

First, Israel is preparing for war, after being attacked for years on many fronts, and not fighting back as she should have. This war will truly have "Biblical implications" around the world. The Middle East is rapidly-collapsing under the subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic riots (muslim Brotherhood) and rule ("arab Spring"), with world crude oil prices projected to hit $200+/bbl, or even higher into the $300-$400 range,

Europe is on the verge of insolvency and collapse, no thanks in great part to Germany, teetering-and-tottering Asia and South America will quickly-follow, then comes the downfall of Canada, and The USA won't be far behind, in late 2012 and into 2013. Watch this video; be sure you're sitting-down, and don't have any food or liquid in your mouth upon which to choke.

I said numerous times that Y2K was a waste of time and money to prepare for, and that came true. I'm reading that "survival stores" are reporting a huge upswing in sales and preparations, and for good reason.

I'm also one of the very, very few who "predicted a 9-11 type event", 2 years and 8 months before it happened. Read down that "Journal" entry to the "Scary Stuff" section, and it was done by the subhuman, murderous muslim/islamic shit/filth/trash, NOT the US Gov't as some morons and idiots (Alex Jones & Co), have and still It's interesting you mention when an old paradigm dies and a new one takes its place. There are people who are still connected to the old one and can't conceive of life without that old paradigm. I think you saw that in the Great Depression. A lot of people never recovered from it because once that hit it was the end of their lives. claim. dangerous and short-lived CFLs (Compact Fluorescent Light bulbs). Better stock-up NOW on 60w, 75w and 100w incandescents, where and when you can find them, before they become unavailable and illegal!

The Contemporary Commerce Clause debate, When "decided by the SCOTUS in the Summer of 2012", will cause CWIII, if upheld. Obama: "Entrepreneurs Don't Build Businesses"

"Last week, President Barack Obama delivered some telling remarks to a fire station full of people in Roanoke, Virginia. I'll save you the trouble of reading the (long and uninspired) speech and provide you with the most interesting part:

     "If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen." – President Barack Obama, July 13th, 2012.

It would be easy to respond with something along the lines of, "Somebody else made that happen? Who? Who magically imagined the product or service, started the business, built it up, and created the jobs? Who was it? The tooth fairy?" And to some extent, President Obama's statement is so ridiculous as to merit that sort of quick, flippant response.

However, he's not entirely wrong. This reminds me of an argument that Massachusetts Senate Democratic candidate Elizabeth Warren would probably make. If he's talking about a mid-sized or large business, where an entrepreneur has hired additional employees, then at that point the business's success isn't purely that of its founder.

Employees add value to a business through work and ideas. That's why you hire employees, after all. Steve Jobs didn't invent every last detail of the phones, computers, and tablets to come out of Apple over the last decade. There were engineers working on those products who developed them. So, employees help entrepreneurs to build their business. "Somebody else" did indeed play a part in making that happen.

But what makes the president's remarks so inane is the totality of what he's saying. He's not saying that entrepreneurs and employees work together to build a business. It's not a collaborative effort. It's all thanks to the employees. Usually, I can understand the way the president's mind works on most issues by examining it through a pragmatic, liberal, or progressive framework. This one baffles me.

As I explained, I can see that he has some of a point, but he's still just obviously wrong on the broader point. Sure, the employees help to build the business, but the business itself wouldn't exist without the entrepreneur. So, to say to entrepreneurs and to business owners, "...you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen," is just wrong. It's silly. They did build that by setting the foundation for the business.

Entrepreneurs are almost always the hardest workers in their business. They work a simply insane number of hours to get their idea off the ground. If they succeed (and they face a tremendous risk if they don't), then they'll start to grow and to hire employees to help. Honestly, if I were an entrepreneur and I read those remarks by the president, I would be furious. It's a tremendous insult to the true job-creators in America, entrepreneurs.

In the context of a long, somewhat rambling campaign speech that touched on every issue under the sun, it may seem as though I'm over-exaggerating the importance of a minor thing he said. But President Obama isn't a stupid man, or even one who makes off-the-cuff remarks he doesn't really mean. He's a very smart man, and he meant what he said.

When the most important issues for most Americans are economic growth and job creation, I believe it's essential to know exactly where both candidates stand on the importance of entrepreneurs. Yesterday, we learned that President Obama believes that entrepreneurs don't build businesses. Ultimately, they're irrelevant. Take that for what you will." ©Principles and Policy, July 14, 2012
