the breaking news last Friday was that Whitey-hating, racist, Marxist, socialist, Kenyan-born, President Sambo B. Hussein Obama-Rama-Lama-Ding-Dong (NIGGA-IL), had "won" the Nobel Peace Prize, after only 9mos in office.

I read the headlines on my computer at 6am, along with the weather, in total disbelief.

Yet, after hucksters, charlatans, liars, scumbags, murderers like Yassir Arafat, Jimmy Carter, Al Gore, Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu and a slew of other do-nothings, it's become quite clear that it's a highly-politicized, leftist award; nothing more.

According to Nobel's will — remember that he invented the more powerful dynamite; the Chinese actually invented mild gunpowder — the Peace Prize should be awarded "to the person who shall have done the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses." Hussein Obama-Rama-Lama-Ding-Dong isn't even close. He's a failure in everything he's done since his inauguration in January 2009. Everything. No accomplishments whatsoever.

Oh well, it is what it is. Liberals accomplish nothing; they promise the moon and the sun, and deliver zero. Witness what they've done on their "liberal-demokkkRAT plantation", to America's Black Family, over the past 50-60 years. They've destroyed it, completely. That's an "accomplishment"? Not in any way shape for form, IMO!

Obama's a phony, a fraud, a racist, an imposter, a known-liar, a poseur, a fake, a 'prima donna' whose political strings are designed and pulled by George Soros & Co, who should have been duly-charged, tried, convicted & executed, many years ago.

Sure, the DJIA (representing only 30 stocks) closed above 10,000 on Wednesday, for the first time in over a year, up 59% since March. But that means n-o-t-h-i-n-g! The S&P Index (representing 500 industrials) is the *true indicator*, IMO. Expect another stock market crash, very soon. But I digress.

Friday was so stressful, I think I felt a heart attack coming on. So I took a 324mg aspirin, and rested in my office. After dealing with payroll, meetings with the Stewartstown postmaster and police chief about Monday's 'community service project', billing of this year's largest LSCP job, dealing with my various foremen and designer, horticulturalist and Dad, as we poured-over that job's details to determine its profitability, as we do with all jobs, I had to go for a 15-min walk, just to get some fresh air, after the chest pains subsided.

I wasn't feeling well on Saturday, so I stayed home from work. Dad, Jennifer & Charlie handled the day's business, while I rested-up. I did go out for a walk around the block, just to get some fresh air. Helped immensely, BTW.

Snow in Denver and Colorado Springs last week, blizzards in Nebraska, snow in Idaho, and it's moving eastward by the day. Global warming? Hardly; from the lack of sunspots and solar flares since 1999, it looks as though we're coming into a mini-ice age. 2009 had to be one of the coolest Summers on record in the Mid-Atlantic Zone, in the past 20 years.

Sunday was another decent retail sales day, with numerous tree purchases. On Monday, Columbus Day, we ripped-out six ***large*** 40 year-old Yews at the Stewartstown Post Office, and re-landscaped the front of the building. James, my Staff Designer, did some nice design work, and Alan, my Foreman, and his landscape crew did a very nice installation. All gratis, as my 2009 "community service project".

My 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo went in to have 12 hydraulic lifters replaced, on Tuesday morning, so rather than waste money on a rental car, I opted to use one of my company dump trucks — the 2004 Ford F-450 Super Duty 10 ton stake body dump — to drive to and from work, for a couple of days. Bad news: the #5 piston skirt broke and the piston will also have to be replaced, so it could be more than a couple of days.

Screw it; I rented a 2009 Ford Focus for a week, after Fishel Automotive's Service Mgr informed me that although replacement of my 12 hydraulic lifters were successful, but that the #5 piston skirt had broken-off and fallen into the oil pan, and that any continued operation of the 6-cyl engine could/would result in major damage if the injured piston fractured and score the block's cylinder wall. I opted to let them have and fully-repair it, ditch my 10-ton dump truck, and rent a car for a week, or whatever it takes. (((sigh)))

On Wednesday evening, after Glenn Beck on FOX NEWS, I watched both "Hellboy", a venerable 2004 series on FX-TV, also well-worth watching, as was the 2004 movie "Premonition". Brrrrrr! Weird dreams ahead for the night.

It started raining Wednesday night and continued all day Thursday. Thursday was my scheduled day off, and I had quite a list of errands and chore to do. I was up at 6am to feed and water the cats, and it was pouring. I slept-in until 12 noon. Still raining hard. 41°F and a 35°F windchill, so I quickly cranked-up the heat to 80°F in the condo. As well as coming early, I think it's going to be a long, cold Winter.

Back to work Friday, with two more Sunday's to go, until the 25% Off Nursery-Wide Sales is over, and we can start putting everything away, for Winter storage. I have 1-2 more estimates to complete Friday, but with the Wintry weather rapidly closing-in, I doubt we'll get to them. They'' have to be transferred to the Spring 2010 Lists.
