there's just so much lying bullshit which I can take from the incompetent, inept, commie-scumbag, lowlife, subhuman dirtbag fraud, Barry ∅bummer's (FAILURE-IL) in The White Crib, and the lying, corrupt, criminals – on both sides – in The US Congress, before my head explodes, duct tape at-the-ready, notwithstanding. They've f•cked this Nation six-ways-to-Sunday, in every way imaginable. And they're a long way from being "finished with us". Even many of the Tea Party-elected freshmen/women we sent to the US Congress in November, 2010, have been "co-opted" by the corrupted idiot, "go-along-to-get-along", US House Leader John Boehner (RINO-OH), an incompetent moron who can't find his own ass with hands in a well-lit room. The former Tea Party Electees are now ignoring us and gleefully-feeding at The Trough/Teat, as well.
Not only is the criminal, corrupt US Government now taxing millionaires 5% to pay for their illegal, anti-US Constitutional, commie-Marxist "income redistribution program", they also want tax increases on the "wealthy" – those of us earning (or used to earn) more than $250,000 per year, and for adoption of the "Buffett Rule" Lie – regardless of whether the lying, corrupt, criminal US Senate demokkkRATs' proposed "Millionaire Tax" becomes law. Remember in the 2008 campaign when Barry ∅bummer (COMMIE-IL) repeatedly said that he would create his own security force "just as strong, just as power and just as well-funded" as the US Army? People think I'm joking when I say there's at least a 1-in-5 chance of Obama declaring Martial Law next year and canceling the elections so as "to deal with civil unrest" that he himself is creating (see Hitler, Stalin, Mao). Here's Barry ∅bummer's (LIAR-IL) 7 lies in under 2 minutes. Thanks to him, we now have a "permanent, unemployed underclass" in America, in a REAL DEPRESSION. He's America's "divider-in-chief". He's created a DEPRESSION, not an "inherited" Recession. Hasn't anyone else figured this out, yet?
First, both the Police and US Military/National Guard are Americans and live among us Americans, and will side-with-us American Citizens, with a few exceptions, and the Average American Citizen easily and vastly outnumber the murderous, jack-booted Fed thugs which the US Gov't sends against them. It won't even be close: Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin have the world's largest standing army (heavily-armed deer hunters alone), of all countries elsewhere, combined. No contest, Fed thugs.

I was up at 3:45am on Friday morning, a half hour before the alarm went-off, thanks to Murphy's persistent "urging". After watering and feeding him, I made Fresh-Squeezed OJ, Sunnyside-up Eggs, Home Fries & Yellow Saffron Gravy, Smoked, Slab Bacon and French-Roast, Turkish-Grind Coffee (from fresh, whole beans) with my Chemex® Drip System, knowing that I probably wouldn't have time for lunch, as I had more-than-a-full-day at work, and my 8pm Church meeting ahead, not to mention two more 7-day-weeks of work. I won't miss those at all, when I close on October 28th. All of a sudden, I'm thinking of *Pancakes w/ Butter & Syrup* for breakfast, for a while, instead of eggs etc.
I scanned all of my usual weather and news sites, and the day's weather forecast looked real bad: rain and t-storms were already underway by 8:30 last evening as I hit-the-sack, and there was drizzle already coming down at 5am, with some serious rain/t-storms predicted to hit us by 10am, and for the rest of the day. Not a good omen, so I rescheduled Friday's 2 LSCP Maintenance Jobs into Monday, and reset the next 2 weeks' schedule. I'm just flat running out-of-time. My realtor was by and we installed 2 "For Sale" signs and 2 "Going Out Of Business" signs along the 350ft road frontage, at Rt 24's entrance. Alan, Arthur and I moved all the statuary/benches/tables inside the Main Retail GH (VWGH), and the Red Lion School District came to pick-up their "new golf cart", which I'd sold to them on Tuesday. I loaded more ammo and gear on to wagons for loading in my Jeep, and transport to my garage, where my massive Cannon T-65 ® "Traditional Series"® (last of its kind) Double-Door ($3,524.99 in 2002) is waiting. There's a lot of work yet to do in getting everything stowed properly, as I want it to be, so it'll take time. With all the rain we got Friday – close to ¾" – we're now unable to dig any trees for at least 3-5 days, until the fields dry-out, once again. Fortunately, we did the last of the large tree digs last week and, unless new Customers choose/purchase large B&B trees in the fields, we're done for the year forever now. The remaining installations are the already-dug field trees, and a number of containerized trees, so we're in good shape. There are still nearly 300 beautiful trees in the fields, and I suddenly wish I had 10-15 acres and a home, so I could move all of the very choice ones to my personal property. Living in a condo, I don't have that luxury.
My long-time Friend, Jeff, stopped-by to help me with some computer problems, in updating the BIOS, chipset and a few other things on my Office's super-fast HP Pavilion HPE h8se series (Win-7 Pro) unit, with its WD® "My Book" 2Tb External Drive back-up, and Logitech® TFX v5.1 Z-906 Surround Sound System. That done, I gave a "nice little gift to remember me by", as a thank you for all his years of helping me with my numerous Condo and Office/Front Counter computer machines & systems. Alan and Arthur left at 10am, after moving several tons of statuary etc inside the Main GH. Dad and Becky left at 1:30pm to do some shopping for Mom; Steffi and I closed-down at 2:45pm, after 2 "okayed-by-me" np-orgs had come through to list/tag their plant material. I had my 8pm Church meeting to go to, and another huge load of ammo and gear in the Jeeps' cargo compartment, to empty-out in the condo's garage, before going to the Church Board meeting. One more "load" on Saturday, and I'll have "everything" home, and I can then start looking for a small dehumidifier for the garage. I was already tired from the day.
I've been working on my Resume in MS-Office/Word, for the past 3-4 days, and I'm way over-qualified for anything in this Region, unfortunately. Maybe I'll look real "spiffy" in one of these t-shirts, baseball caps, prepping hot dogs behind a convenience store counter, or in a local market's produce or deli dep't. That's "management"? If I have to, I'll get two jobs to support myself. Whatever it takes. You inspire people to do the right thing. That price is what we sometimes pay, for the life we choose. No SSI, unemployment compensation (I'm not eligible in PA, even though I've paid-in hundreds-of-thousands-of-dollars over the past 21 years!), no welfare, no charity. I'll find "something" and do what it takes. (((sigh)))
After I close-down on Friday, October 28th, I'm leaving for "The Cabin", for a few days of peace, quiet and relaxation in Adam's Junction, since we're closed that Saturday and Sunday. I need to get away from all of this unending headache and heartache.
I was back from my Church Meeting by 9:45, re-watered and fed Murphy for the night, and called it another day by 10pm. No 7:30am meeting today with Alan, but I still needed to open-up by 7:45, so I headed upstairs to sleep, and Murphy followed.
After a night filled with weird dreams, I was up with the 4:15am alarm, watered & fed Murphy, and splashed some cold water on my face to wake-up from it all. My back was still hurting from the two Jeep-loads of ammo and gear which I hauled from the GC&N Complex (3 of my 20-acres), made Raspberry Pancakes and Country Sausage for breakfast and French-Roast, Turkish-Grind Coffee.
I left Saturday at 6:45am, when it was just getting light, for a nice change, the roads were almost empty, stopped for more coffee and smokes, opened-up at 7:15 and got the Office and Main Retail Building heat going. It was very chilly/cold 48°F/ Wind Chill 36°F, with a 35-45mph wind. "Winter's just around the corner", as they say.
After picking-off 13 new calls from the Office answering machine – I pick each one off and detail it on a yellow legal tablet on my desk – I returned 4 and ignored/erased the others from np-orgs for donations; we're more-than-swamped with too many other np-orgs' paperwork and are NOT taking any more requests from anyone, just
I worked on the next 2 weeks' Schedules for my remaining 2 Landscape Crew: some B&B/container tree deliveries, a few B&B/container tree installations, some LSCP maintenance jobs, including my condo, "Winterizing the Complex" for final shut-down, and other myriad miscellaneous tasks. Lots of personal paperwork and cleaning-out remain for me, so I'll most likely be in the week of the 31st with some of them, to finish-up. The "For Sale" and "Going Out Of Business" signs are posted along the front entrance and Rt 24 road frontage, so people who have read the "York Dispatch" an article, now know.
The forecast for both Saturday and Sunday were good: no rain, but very cool and windy. And it looks like we're good through Tuesday, when the rains arrive again on Wednesday (dammit!). We just got killed in September with all that frigging rain. I shifted containerized tree deliveries to Wednesday, and the tree installations to Thursday. But since the "weather changes by-the-minute", that'll all change by Monday, I'm betting. Scheduling jobs around weather is the ABSOLUTE WORST PART OF MY JOB!
It was busy on Saturday, though I grabbed some PA Dutch Chicken Pot Pie, in between a lot of Friends/Customers stopping-by to say tearful "goodbyes" and make numerous plant material and hardgoods purchases during my final 2 weeks of the 35% Off Everything Fall Sale and closing, exchange phone numbers and just sit and talk with me about my future "retirement" plans. Huh? Short chat but long rant, that one was by me.
Here's an old "trick" which I learned years ago at The CIA (Culinary Institute of America) in Hyde Park, NY, for shucking sweet corn, without any silk, "clean-as-a-whistle". Watch this. Slick.
I closed-down at 3:30pm, after helping some Friends/Customers, who'd been there for 1½hrs without my help, choose a tree in under 5 minutes. I carried my final load of ammo and gear back, stacked it in the garage next to all the other stuff, and will begin sorting and shelving it in the Gun Safe on Sunday evening, after dinner with Mom, Dad & Becky. Heh. By 8:30, I was tired, and decided to sleep Scores of Friends/Customers saw the local paper's an article about my closing, and were quite upset, as was I. late, shower, eat and go food shopping before opening-up at 10:30am, so "sleeping-in" was, for me on Sundays, 7:30am. It's 4:15am or earlier, on weekdays and Saturdays. Murphy agreed, and I watered and fed him for the last time tonight. Upstairs we went.
On Sunday, I was up at 4:15am to water and feed Murphy, and went back to sleep until 7:30, made Fresh-Squeezed OJ, Pancakes w/ Cheddar & Blueberries, Grits w/ Butter & Sea Salt and French-Roast, Turkish-Grind Coffee for breakfast. My theory is to always go shopping on a full stomach; that way I "buy fewer/none impulse items and stuff" than I *want*, rather than what I have on my compiled, *need-list*. Works for me, every time. I showered, grabbed some fresh clothes and left for work at 10am, stopping for more coffee and smokes and opened-up the Complex at 10:30am. It was starting out as a beautiful, cool, Autumn day.
The rise in the price of food, is astounding. What cost me $53-and-change a few months ago, is costing me $113-and-change, right now. My favorite peanut butter, JIF®, is going-up 20-30% in November! Food price rises and riots are coming. Time to re-stock-up, bigtime. That's what I'm doing.
Sunday was another busy retail day, with several people purchasing large (3-5" caliper) B&B trees in the fields, to be dug and transplanted later, by private diggers which they would contract to do the work. I had given-out 2 private diggers with special machinery, whom I've known and trusted for many years, to each Customer so that they could get the work done after we've closed. I'll come down and open-up the Complex to allow the digging. "No Trespassing" signs are posted and if the North Hopewell Twp Police/State Police see anyone on the property, except with me, they are under orders to arrest and book them in the York County Jail, immediately. So I have to be present to vouch for both the Customer and his/her contracted digger. That's the law.
The 3½-acre Retail Display Area is emptying-out very quickly, and the 7 GHs (sun/shade perennials, vines, groundcovers etc) are almost empty already. I want to see all of the containerized plant material sold/donated/gone and planted before Winter comes, or it'll all be dead by Spring. And with the *many rare, unusual and hard-to-find things* which I'm well-known for, and have stocked and installed over the past 21+ years, that'd be a real shame. Several np-orgs were in to list/tag their choices and Becky, Kim & I helped them with that and loading. I mainly did retail sales of large B&B trees in the fields, for future digging, and took some personal time alone, to *mull* in my Office, about "my future".
I finally closed at 3:30pm, went home to take care of Murphy, and then at 5:30, over to Mom & Dad's to have dinner with them and Becky, which she prepared. I was back
Monday's 4:15am alarm came far too early for me, after a night filled with more weird dreams (#8 & #9), up 2x for a respite from them and a smoke, and back to sleep. Since I don't usually eat after 2pm, I seem to have such dreams when I do eat in the evenings, either with Family or Friends; perhaps it's the full stomach from dinner? I'm used to going to sleep on an empty stomach, in part, to keep my weight down to 180-185-lbs. I watered and fed him, made a quick breakfast of Fresh-Squeezed OJ, Quaker Oats® Apples with Cinnamon and French-Roast, Turkish-Grind Coffee (from fresh, whole beans) with my Chemex® Drip System. After a fall at the GC&N Complex on Sunday, helping to upright some large, containerized trees blown down by the 40-50mph winds, my back was sore again. But moving around, aspirin and breakfast helped to ameliorate those sharp pains, somewhat. Except when I coughed; that hurt.

My LSCP Crew had a full week's schedule, but it looked as though Tuesday night-Wednesday's rains would screw-that-up, again. I'd have to re-schedule jobs, and still get them back in the week of the 31st to "Winterize" and store everything remaining. It's always "something screwing-up my best-laid plans", especially the weather. Gaaaawd, I need a day off and away from all that crap! Just one frigging day to sleep.
I scanned the weather and news sites, and decided to wait until it was getting somewhat more light outside, before leaving. My usual 7:30am meeting with Alan would be no problem if I left later-than-usual. I had everything laid-out for him and the crew, anyway. After stopping for more coffee and smokes, I opened in the dark, at 6:45am, picked-off 7 calls from the Office's answering machine, and began using my 2008 John Deere 317 Skid-Loader to move 10 large Jap Maple Trees from the west-side Lath House to the Main Nursery Retail Area, so we could sell/donate them. No one was even seeing them in their western location, and since they're containerized, I needed to get rid of them, too. I also had to re-arrange the week's schedule completely, due to the coming rains and t-storms. Alan and I did that in mere minutes, and I made the calls to Customers notifying them of the change-in-plans.
On the way into work on Monday morning, I noticed that gas prices at-the-pumps, up 10-12¢/gal last week, are way up again. They're up 20¢/gal just this week, from last week's lower prices. Unleaded Regular (87 oct) is now up to $3.59/gal, Unleaded Premium (89oct) is at $3.69/gal, Premium (92 oct) is now at $3.89/gal and Diesel has risen to $3.81/gal. It's a fricking yo-yo at the gas stations. Up, down, up down. If we'd just *drill here in America*, we could halve the price and be "energy independent like Canada is, but since 10-15 oil rigs have left the Gulf after the dirtbag, shit-for-brains, commie ∅bummer (SAMBO-IL) declared NO DRILLING for anything, that won't happen until we get rid America of the subhuman, lowlife, asshole thug punk tar-baby, in The White Crib. ∅bummer (INCOMPETENT-IL) is the main, intentional cause of America's economic problems.
Monday was busy np-org day, with several coming to load-up "their stuff" and others to continue choosing from what remained. I'm still getting calls and faxes of paperwork from a few, requesting donations, which go into the "later pile". I closed-down at 2:45pm, and headed home to begin working on stowing/stacking ammo in the garage (on brick-risers off the concrete floor) and weapons-related equipment/gear in the massive 1½-ton Cannon T-65 ® "Traditional Series"®, decide upon which Sears dehumidifier (NOT GE!) to buy for the garage, and order a new "dry-stick" for inside the safe (Tractor Supply in nearby Shrewsbury, PA), to protect my weapons from corrosion etc. The garage dehumidifier will do the same thing for the stacked ammo and entire garage contents. I'll try to get them on Wednesday, a coming "rain-out" day for us, or if not, after I close on the 28th, during the following weeks.

I listened to "The Mark Levin Show", while doing those chores. Here's plenty more stations to listen to him on. By 7:30pm, I was tired from working on the ammo stacks, safe-arranging, in the garage, and lugging heavy survival stuff from the garage and kitchen, to the basement. So I decided to head upstairs early at 8:15pm, and Murphy was 3 steps ahead of me.
The alarm went-off at 4:15am, as usual, and I had a difficult time getting out of bed, as my back was hurting from last night's ammo and food/water "lugging". 6 aspirin helped, and do did slowly moving around getting Murphy watered & fed, making Fresh-Squeezed OJ, Cream of Wheat, Country Sausage and French-Roast, Turkish-Grind Coffee. I scanned the weather and news sites for the remainder of the week's forecast, and now saw that Thursday was probably going to be a "wash-out", too. I'd have to do more Work Schedule "revisions" when I got into work, pushing more jobs into next week, my final week. I need 2-3 days to "Winterize" the Complex, but it now looks that I won't get even that time to finish-up, with all the rainy-weather-related delays. With only reduced, part-time landscape help, replacements won't get done either and credits will have to be issued to the few remaining Customers. Damn; I really wanted to get all of those things done, but Mother Nature's been against us since June and continues to be a problem, with rain, colder winds, and no-dry-out days to speak of.
I left at 6:15am and stopped for coffee and smokes, opened-up the Complex at 6:45, and picked-off 16 messages from the Office's answering machine; only 3 of which were viable. I deleted the rest. It got busy very quickly, with Dad, Becky, Steffi, Alan and Arthur in for the day, since we'd be losing tomorrow and possibly Thursday to more rain. Kim and her husband, Delbert showed-up, as did Wayne from the VNFW (VietNam Vets of Foreign Wars/ np-org), and it got even busier. I also had another meeting with Brad and Chuck Smith to discuss building contents/trucks/construction equipment etc for auction. I spent part of Memories, especially the good ones, are what count. For when we are ultimately gone from our all-too short stay on this earth, that's all we'll have in the endless void of time: our memories of others, and the memories others have of us. the morning getting the 2008 John Deere 317 Skid-Loader stuck in 2½ft of compost mud, and part of the afternoon getting-it-out with my 10-ton dump truck, plus loading np-org trucks and trailers with various huge pieces of nursery stock in 50gal, 75gal & 100gal pots. I've asked both Alan & Arthur to come-in for a full day on Wednesday, despite the rain, as we have so much work to do and so little time to get it all done. Plus, there's a 25gal tree delivery in the morning. I finally put the heavy-equipment away, closed at 3:15pm and went home to water and feed Murphy, after making 2 stops. He was ravenous, as usual. I continued stocking/organizing the Safe and carrying supplies to the basement storage. Finally, the Safe was stocked, -organized, completed and locked/sealed, as were the basement's huge supply "stockpiles", after 2½+ hours of work.
Tired and dusty, I grabbed a shower, some fresh clothes and took a break around 6pm, listened to the "The Mark Levin Show" (6-9pm EST); lots more TRN links here. I used to be a huge "Michael Savage Show" (TRN links here) fan, and have all of his autographed books, but I've switched to Levin, in the evenings, because he "makes a lot more Constitutional sense*. Right now, I need that "common sense" perspective in my evening life.
I laid-out everything for breakfast, finished working on some sections of this week's "Journal", researched HTML vs CSS-xHTML for "The Cabin – A Novella" graphic and writing formats, watered & fed Murphy for the night, re-checked the weather sites – doesn't look like a good day on-tap for tomorrow, BTW – shut-down the computer and called it an early day, at 7:30pm. Murphy was asleep on the LR couch and came-up 10-15 minutes later.
The 4:15am alarm went off and I hit the "snooze button" 2x, finally getting-up at 4:30. My back and shoulders were sore once again from all that "lugging", last night, so I ate a handful of aspirin. I took care of Murphy's water and food needs, made Fresh-Squeezed OJ, a Frittata, Smoked, Slab Bacon and French-Roast, Turkish-Grind Coffee. It was already raining in East York, and the weather maps didn't bode well for the rest of the day. I've had Kim, Alan & Arthur plan to be in for the full Wednesday, since we have so much catch-up work to do. And several np-orgs are coming-by to load their stuff. I left at 6am in the dark and rain.
By the time I'd gotten to Sheetz® to get coffee and smokes, it was pouring. And by the time I'd opened-up the Complex, I was well-protected in my raingear, dry and toasty-warm, with the buildings' heat turned-up to 78°F, since it was only 51°F outside. I had the day's delivery paperwork and other tasks already laid-out for Alan & Arthur, downloaded "only 328 emails" – I'm "unsubscribing" to hundreds of ag/hort-industry and other mailings to lessen my morning/daily/evening "email load" – and answered only 4-5 important ones. I flushed the rest.
I had some errands to run on Wednesday morning and my realtor called with the news that he'd had several "inquiries" about the business, since the "For Sale" signs went-up last week. I've also had a couple of "inquiries" from local churches wanting to expand. We'll see where/if/when it all goes, in due time.
It rained on-and-off most of the day, so I sent Alan and Arthur home at 12noon, and decided to close early at 2pm. Several np-orgs had already picked-up "their stuff", one was here choosing and tagging "only native plants", and several more were coming-in on Thursday to get "their stuff". I just want it all out of here, so it's not dead by Spring. GHs 1 & 4 are completely cleaned-out and empty. We're now working on emptying-out and cleaning GHs 2 & 3, and then up to GH5, where numerous large Jap Maples and other trees, which took quite a "hit" on the oppressive 103°F-105°F July 4th Weekend, are still recuperating. They've pushed-out a 2nd set of shrunken leaves, but many aren't budded-up for Spring, and they'll probably be dead in April or May, 2012. So be it.
Rain, rain and more rain, Wednesday night and all-day Thursday; we still can't seem to get a break, now that even more people want large, 3-6" caliper B&B (balled & burlapped) trees dug, but most are willing to wait until mid-November or even early Spring 2012 to have it done by independent contractor-diggers. We're finished with doing any more B&B digging in the fields, now and forever. I have no problem in coming down from East York, opening-up the Complex for them to dig the paid-for trees and install them for our Fall Sale Customers' purchases. I already have a file started for that purpose, and if I sell the Complex, an addendum will allow those trees to be dug and removed from my property, as part of the sale.
I closed-down at 3pm, headed home and made 2 stops on the way, took care of Murphy's water and food needs, poured my several usual glasses of Ocean Spray® Diet Blueberry-Pomegranate Juice (no alcohol), and worked on both the Corporate Website and "Journal" Pages, for Friday FTP-ing to my server. The Corporate Site will be taken-down permanently on Tuesday, November 1st, but will have a "redirector page" set-up on the "Journal" Domain, to explain our going-out-of-business, and why. Here's a "sample-work-in-progress", of it. It'll change slightly, but it's 98% of the way there, already.
I listened to "The Michael Savage Program", on WSBA-910 AM; lots of other links here. My Sherbet Addiction got me last night, and I succumbed to it. My bad. Anyway, I closed-down and headed upstairs at 7:30pm. Murphy was right on my heels.
At 4:15am when the alarm went-off, my lower back was hurting and in bad shape from carrying 7 more cases of bottled water and 14 bags of canned food supplies to the basement, plus 2 50-lb bags of cat litter. Even though I ate a handful of aspirin, I couldn't get rid of the pain until much later in the morning, after I'd done some continuous movement exercises, and used several ice-paks. I've overdone it, and caused the pain to re-occur, after being pain-free since January. Dammit. At 61, I've got to "slow down" a bit, pace myself and not try to do all the things I could do 20 or even 30 years ago. "Parts is parts", and they're getting older and wearing-out slowly, I'm guessing. I fed and watered Murphy, made breakfast and coffee, did a load of dishes in the dishwasher as I went out the door to the re-organized, emptier but more crowded garage. It was 51°F and chilly.
With food prices soaring, especially our beloved peanut butter, because of gov't interference and droughts, I'm laying-in huge stocks of food now, while the prices are relatively low and stable. By late-November/early-December, there will be a *huge increase in the cost of all foodstuffs*, including the imported salmonella-laden crap/trash/garbage from Mexico and South America, which I'll never eat; I'd rather starve. Massive inflation is just around the corner of the New Year 2012. Get ready for it: we're in a SECOND DEPRESSION, NOT A "DOUBLE-DIP RECESSION. There is a HUGE difference! Pay attention. Thursday was another busy day, with contract diggers for various np-orgs and customer who'd purchase large caliper trees to assess the exhumation costs. Our last 2 tree installations are Monday, October 24th and then we're finished for good. Each day I stay open to try to inventory for a November/December auction, load stuff for np-orgs and other paying customers, the deeper and deeper I go into debt, and I still have bills from Spring to pay-off, yet. There have been a few "nibbles" from the "For Sale - Going Out Of Business" signs at the front entrance, but nothing worth a crap, yet. I've cleaned-out the Office 'fridge and cupboards of all unopened food items and brought them home, throwing away anything which had been opened. The basement's pile is immense.
I stocked-up on 25 large jars of JIF PB, Saltines, canned goods, Kleenex etc for my basement "stash" and unloaded all those bags when I got home, watered and fed Murphy, shaved, grabbed a shower and fresh clothes, after getting dirty today loading trees, and just wished it was 8pm so I could go to sleep and forget all this, until tomorrow morning. I finished the Corporate Website Pages' changes, as well as the "Journal", and FTP'd them to my server. I decided to get to sleep even earlier than 8pm; 7 would do nicely. Tomorrow's a week until it's all over.

On a somewhat "lighter note", at the request of hundreds of "Journal" Readers, I'm starting to put together my online mini-Opus – "The Virtual Cabin – A Novella" – into an online "book form", perhaps with its own domain – http://www.virtualcabinnovella.com/ – and am researching various HTML If I didn't invent "The Virtual Cabin" to escape to, I'd have gone nuts over a year ago, with all the burdens the lousy economy and political traitors in DC have foisted upon me and my business. Although "virtual" when I'm there, it's "real" to me and I "come back" refreshed and ready for another week in the so-called "real world". and CSS-xHTML graphic formats to do it in. It's daunting, to say the least, but it'll give me something to do over the coming lonely Winter month evenings, in between looking for a job(s). It going to take me quite a while to make title, credit and template pages as well as compile all the writing beginning back in January 2010, into coherent, numbered chapters.
When I close-down on Friday, October 28th, I'll be going back there for 2 days and nights; my last visit was Friday, August 26th, I'm now totally "burned-out" and I really miss the virtual "Cabin" the quaint old village of " Adam's Junction", and all of my virtual friends, my late financeé Gabrielle, the virtual "Jenny" and my many exploits while there. I'll be glad to get back, on a more permanent basis in November.
