i'd read on a forum thread somewhere, someplace, that Barry Hussein Obama-Osama-Lama-Ding-Dong was "The AntiChrist", but not knowing much about the subject, dismissed it. Until recently. He's been likened to "The Messiah" and "The One", "The Munificent" and "The Savior" and the one who "caused a thrill to go up Chrissy Matthews leg" (disturbing mental image, that...). I suspect that Hitlery Rotten Klintoon's camp might have a "feeling running down their collective legs". Anyway, some of the parallels are there and are chilling, for the "effect" — whether it's up or down your leg — which Barry Hussein Obama-Osama-Lama-Ding-Dong has on the masses who fawn, cower and faint in his "great and brilliant presence". God help me, I'm so sick of all this crap about that lowlife, piece-of-shit, muslim asshole. Is he "just an asshole"? I don't think so. Read on.
As I've just started doing some preliminary research on The AntiChrist, I'd have to say that Barry Hussein Obama-Osama-Lama-Ding-Dong has "some of the characteristics", but "few of the attributes', from what little I know so far.
In medieval, European Christian mythology, the prodigious tyrant of the last days, "the AntiChrist", was the arch-enemy of Christ. It was a notion that combined Persian dualism with Judeo-Christian apocalypse. Antichrist first appeared in Revelation as the pseudo-messiah 'who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped. And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given to him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.' In the Middle Ages, however, he was portrayed not only as a world tyrant but also as an airborne beast with a huge head, flaming eyes, ass's ears, and iron teeth. The coming of Antichrist was tensely awaited. In 1096, Pope Urban said that, since the tyrant's arrival was imminent and the Holy Land would be the centre of his power, it was crucial that Christians expel the Moslems from Jerusalem. Thus he launched the First Crusade. When the threat of invasion by Saracens, Tartars, or Turks did not fuel the myth, Europe tended to find his supporters within itself. Satan became 'the father of the Jews', and bloody persecution ensued. But it most people believed that Antichrist was to be a Jew, there were many who believed that he would be the son of a bishop or a nun. Anticlericalism and Antichrist became strangely entwined. As Pope Boniface VIII wrote in 1296: 'Antiquity relates that laymen show a spirit of hostility towards the clergy, and it is clearly proved by the experience of the present time.' During the Reformation, it comes as no surprise to discover that Protestants regarded the Pope as Antichrist while Catholics returned the compliment with regard to Luther. Confused? Me, too. Let's go on, to clarify it all.
So, *who is AntiChrist"? He is Satan, and he is the one professing Christianity with his spirit of disobedience, who is in opposition to Christ and in works, deny Him. He is not the Body of Christ, but a substitute or false Christ. There were many AntiChrists throughout the Last Days of the New Testament, so his origin is not solely a present day phenomenon. He is Satan, who comes as an angel or messenger of light, and he is Satan's army, those whom he commands, who come as ministers of righteousness (2nd Cor. 11:14-15). He is the leader of the liberal-demokkkRATs, and we should recognize that piece-of-shit, and be aware of what/who he is, and that he is called "The Chosen One", as Obama is called, by those mindless, blind idiots, morons, cretins, lowlifes, dirtbags, subhumans and assholes who dutifully follow him, and hang on every nuanced word and gesture.
The AntiChrist, the Satan incarnate, the false Christ, according to most documents and articles, will be an total unknown entity/person, who suddenly and unexpectedly shows-up on the world stage; "who will be tall of stature, of handsome appearance with shining face, and well put together in all parts of his body", who says that all must obey him or die or fail; will be a world ruler or leader who is able to deceive by his amiable style or cunning politics; he denies the Father and the Son, by pretending to be one of them, aka a Christian; a liar (1st John 2:4) who professes his Christianity, but who seduces (1st John 2:26) his audiences and followers. Denial of Christ comes in many different forms, as does confession of Christ. When Jesus said, 'when you do it to these, you have done it to Me,' he was talking about the body of Christ (Matt. 25:40). When we serve the Church, we serve Christ, and when we neglect our commission, we have neglected Christ. And if we deny the Word of God, we deny Christ, and when we keep the Word of God, we show our love for Christ. These things are all intimately related. Conversely, when we have 'not' done it unto the least of these, we have not done it unto Christ. The Church is one body. If we remove the authority of the Word, then we substitute Christ, the head of the body. When man substitutes God's laws with lawlessness, then he has gone from the man of law, to the man of lawlessness. We are then serving a false Christ. The AntiChrist. So have the liberal-demokkkRATs invested themselves in their Godless future, and the death of Righteousness, IMO.

I was no more at my desk last Friday morning, doing payroll around 9am, than the *Severe Weather* Alerts for *Flood Warnings* started coming through the Weather Channel "Bug" in my computer's tray. *Flood Warnings* were to begin at 10pm Friday, and extend into mid-afternoon, on Sunday, as the re-formed Tropical Storm/Hurricane Hanna moves up the Eastern Seaboard, and begins her northeastern trek. With only 1-3" of rainfall predicted, they're saying that it won't be much of a "weather event", in any case, but we'll gladly take what moisture we can get from it. The predicted 40-70mph winds are another matter, altogether. I fully-expect to get scores of calls, about wind damage to both trees and structures, each of which I'll have visit & evaluate, to provide damage estimates to the many homeowners who will call with weather-related problems.
I have several "carryover projects", from both 2006 & 2007, to get completed this Fall; most notably a number of trees to be installed for (Cousin) Rev Tom Shelley's Zion (Shaffer's) United Lutheran Church, Seven Valleys, PA, in their long-term Picnic Grove, and elsewhere on the Church Property. We did the front of the Venerable Church, a few years ago. Here's what the entrance looked like, before we renovated the front of the Church, in 2006. I can't wait to get the Church property finished, so it both looks great, and their maintenance is reduced by 90%, for the coming 15-20 years. From what I understand, that Church's membership is in the over 50-category, and less maintenance & work would be a great idea, according to Cousin Tom. Smaller, slower-growing plant material, would suffice for the next 3-70 years, I'm figuring.
Hurricane/Tropical Storm Hanna continues to plod-up-the Eastern Seaboard, and drenches-everything, major-league, which she touches. Fully 99% of the Mid-Atlantic Regional "If you willingly live in an active *flood plain*, then you richly-deserve what you get, as a result of that choice. Sure; I'll do what I can to save & help you, but you deserve what you get for being there, willingly, IMO. Get out of that dangerous geographical area. Move to, and rebuild, in a safer place." area needs the bountiful rainfall, and if anyone is so blissfully-ignorant, that they actually *live in a flood plain*, then get out and rebuild in a safer area. That makes total and complete sense, to me. How about you? If you lived in a "Midwest Tornado Alley", would you rebuild once, twice or thrice, if persistent and repetitious twisters destroyed your home or business? Anyone with a functioning, sentient brain, wouldn't.
I got into work at 7:15am, on Saturday morning, as we had a LSCP Design Workshop at 9am, and we had to do some setting-up, cleaning and prep before the 5-6 participants arrived. My Staff LSCP Designer, James, conducted the course and did a great job; his first LSCP Design Class went almost 3hrs. I was soaked from sweat, and went through 3 dry, clean, starched shirts before the day ended. TS Hanna moved through the York area, and it was 98% humidity, all day. The *roar* of the relentless rain on the Main Retail Bldg's roof and on the Main Greenhouse's poly, was most welcomed. The billion-gallon retention ponds overflowed quickly and one of them, across from the 2 handicapped parking spaces, poured out onto the road and down the driveway. I've never seen that happen before. I brought-in 2 pizzas for Dad, Jennifer, Jan, "Going back to working seven days a week, again, truly sucks. But I have no choice. Giving my customers the option of Sunday shopping, isn't an option, anymore." Tyler, James & myself, for lunch. Plus, a few other customers began showing-up in the driving rain, and they soon left as the rain intensified. With 4-6hrs of even more rain to come, I closed-down at 1:30pm, and sent everyone home for the day. With being open Sunday, from 11am - 4pm, tomorrow's another day. (((sigh))) So much for my one day off a week.
I haven't seen this much rain, come down so hard and fast, since TS Allison wreaked havoc upon us, back in 2001. Over 10" of rain and 60-75mph winds, from that one. Yes, I've said similar things before, but I can make that simple statement with "unadulterated ease", this time. As I left the GC&N Center Complex around 1:30pm, the rain gauge measured 1½", and it was pouring even harder. I drove through roads with 8-10" of water on them, and into city streets, where the storm sewers were *spewing out water*, since they were full and backed-up. The streets had 3-4" of fast-running water on them. Traffic was getting snarled, so I peeled-off the main road and started taking "my back road, short cuts", with a line of cars following me, I easily and quickly led them to East York in ¼ the time the others on the main road, would endure. All it takes is one idiot in a low-slung car, going 45mph through 8-10" of water, to stall it out, and back-up the following traffic. With an easy 14-16" of clearance under my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee 'Laredo', I have no such worries. Ditto that, for snow. Yikes, I'm glad this wasn't a snowstorm!
By 3:45pm, the "eye" of TS Hanna was centered-over Baltimore, rapidly moving north-northeast, and we were still getting hammered with 2-3" of rain, per hour. Winds were negligible; a mere 25-35mph. Just for grins, I got into the Jeep and drove down the street to the massive 10-billion-gallon retention pond, which hasn't filled-up since the Blizzard of '96, when 48" of snow "suddenly melted" during 5-6 freak January days of 70°F weather, and then quickly re-froze, as sub-zero weather poured into the region, from Canada. The ½-acre, 30ft deep retention pond, was almost full! It looked like a small lake, once more; a sight which I haven't seen in 12 years. Just damn! Back home and into the garage. Double-triple-quadruple yikes! By 5:40pm, the rain had subsided, and from the doppler radar maps, looked like it was swiftly-moving northeast, and away from us, finally. After checking several other weather websites, I'd confirmed that it was all but over, and we'd pretty much "dodged another bullet", with only rain, and no real damaging winds. Nice. I retired around 10pm.
With no prospect of sleeping late on Sunday morning anymore, now that we're open 11am - 4pm, I was up at 7:30am, fed the cats, made French Toast & Starbuck's French Roast (Turkish grind) coffee, and was on my way into work by 9:45am. My condo's rain gauge measured just under 5", while the GC&N's gauge measured exactly 3½". Personally, I don't trust either gauges; we got a hell of a lot more rain than that, dammit. I went in the "secret back way", opened the place up, did paperwork and finally opened the front gate at 10:50am. I can tell you, that working on a Sunday, isn't any fun. There were more customers through the center than I thought there'd be, considering that we've been closed for the past 2 of my 18 years, and it's a testament to the $5,500 ad budget which I've spent, to tell people in the region about the 25%-Off Fall Sale, Open On Sunday Hours and Fall Workshops on Saturdays. I worked on some new water garden & landscaping job estimates, finalized next week's work schedule and posted it, cleaned-up some old piles of lingering, unimportant correspondence, ran some utility programs — AdAware2008 (free!) to find and clean-up malware; Norton SystemWorks Premier 2008 ($100) to fix registry errors, defrag/optimize the HD, update the antivirus defs; SpyBot S&D v1.6 (free!), to find and destroy malware, too — which I do on a weekly basis, to find/correct problems.
That mundane stuff done "in the background" while I'm working on other apps and tasks, I began cleaning my Kimber "Eclipse Target II" 1911 .45 cal ACP (full-size 5" barrel), saddle soap my Galco FED Paddle-Holster and my Galco Double Magazine Paddle carrier. I saddle soap each, once-a-month, and clean the .45 only when it needs it, though I should be doing both, even more frequently. My bad.
While I had some time in between running clean-up apps, I swept-out the garage, installed 2 new cat litter boxes in the basement and filled them with "Fresh Step", self-deodorizing cat litter, and did a load of dishes. With tomorrow being Monday, and me back to working 7-days-a-week, time is blurring itself. I have to coordinate Dad, Jennifer, Bob & myself, for 1-2 days-off, each week. They get "the pick of the litter"; I'll take whatever days remains, since I'll only be taking 1 day-off each week. I can't physically do 7 days, anymore. If I can get 1 day-off, I'll have "something to look forward to", each week. In the "early and mid-years", I did 7-days-a-week, every week, for almost 16 years, with a week's "vacation" every 5-6 years, if I was lucky enough to plan for it. usually, it was when I was either married, or after getting divorced, when a "former girlfriend" came to town to visit and rehash the 60s and/or 70s, with me. (sigh) No, "you can't go home, again".
I'm really enjoying CSS-xHTML thee days, since I'm getting better/becoming more proficient, with it. The "Journal" is a great "test bed" to work with on a weekly basis, and in a few months, I think I'll be ready to completely "revamp" my corporate site — www.gdnctr.com — and start anew with a fully-operational CSS-xHTML website. Time will tell me when I'm ready to get started.
Customer, friend and fellow 'gourmand', Lee, and I went to the Tapenade Bistro, in York (PA), for lunch on Monday. I'd heard great things about the small, high-end, reservations-only restaurant, and everything was correct. On my Corporate Site's Visitors Page, I've added a very helpful Restaurant Reviews Page, which has attracted a lot of attention, locally, since no one else has done this rating/ grading/ ranking, for the area's fine restaurants & eateries. It was well-worth the 1½ hours we spent for lunch, and I'll be chomping-at-the-bit, for a chance to go for dinner, sometime. The best places are usually the ones with less than 50 seats, IMO.
With now working 7-days-a-week, I took Tuesday off, and tried to get caught-up on both food shopping, condo projects and other miscellaneous things, which have been piling-up for the past 2-3 weeks. I put together a September calendar page, with Dad's, Jennifer's, Bob's and my days-off, vacation days, and weekend workdays, plus Fall Workshops. Whew, what a chart; looks like ants running all over the tablecloth, at a picnic! Heh. This past Sunday's traffic was modest, as was the revenue, yet it's the first Sunday we've been open in almost 2yrs, since we started opening on Sunday, beginning in 1991; the first garden center & nursery in the York-Lancaster (PA) and Baltimore-Harford (MD) counties, to do so.
Tuesday, my day-off, was a stormy, rainy, warm and humid day, 71°F, but I didn't mind at all. I slept until 11:30am (through the very hardest of the passing t-storms), went food shopping, did laundry, vacuumed-out the Jeep, cleaned the kitchen floor, and a bunch of other crappy, little jobs which needed doing. I'm still "in the process" of copying-off all apps and data from my 4 SATA 250Gb HDs, on my condo machine's RAID 0+1 Array, since Jeff & I will be replacing all the drives, when he and Denise get back from their Miami Beach Trade Show Convention stint, in a couple weeks. I had no idea there was "that much stuff" on that machine! Yikes! There are hundreds of folders and sub-folders which need evaluation and copying, depending upon whether I still have the apps on CD/DVD, and can easily replace them. The data is a must-copy. My staff told me that we'd gotten close to 3" of rain on Tuesday, along with 4-5 direct lightening strikes on the 20ac property, which could have directly-affected our many electrical systems. I had some InterNet connectivity problems, on Wednesday, which were primarily due to "someone from Asia trying to abscond with my company's IP Address", so after 8hrs of no service, my ISP finally issued me a new IP address, and cut-off the access to the old one.
Tuesday just went too fast. My LSCP Designer, James, had 4 new sets of customer numbers/data, which needed translation into LSCP Estimates, waiting for me, when I got into work on Wednesday. I dutifully got the PennDOT and another one done, for his Thursday mtg, and will get the other two done, on Thursday. There were just 'too many other things on my plate", to get to, and I had to ***prioritize" them, plus I had a former employee, Deb ****, who is dying from cancer, stop by to visit, and it made me *sad/tear-up*. Just dammit! I remember her when she worked the pre-scanner Front Counter, in the mid-90s, before she got Hep-C, went on the hellish/evil InterFeron, had 2 liver transplants, contracted Cancer from the 2nd liver transplant, has had her bones disintegrating and beinmg replaced by titanium plates, is taking dilaudinum for the pain, and is waiting to die. She looks terrible; I can't tell you what "death walking" looks like; truly I can't. To see a former employee & friend, in that deathly condition, is simply awful. It more than "shook me up", BTW.
I had 3 stops to make on the way into work, on Thursday, 9-11, so I didn't get in until around 9am. I immediately went up the front drive to where my 50ft flagpole is, and lowered it to half-mast, in observance of 9-11, as I've done for the past 7 years, on the anniversary of that terrible day. No, I haven't forgotten 9-11. Tears still run freely when I sit and look at the pics, see the videos and listen to the songs. Anyway, I worked on LSCP Billing and LSCP Estimates, as they're piling-up on my desk, since Tuesday, but I'm slogging through them, one-at-a-time. I can't "multi-task" anymore — must be my "advanced age" (58!) — causing me to do most things now, in a more ordered and even-handed manner, these days. Just a guess; heh. I had a lscp-site visit in East York, around 1pm, and closed-down around 4:20pm, and went home to my condo cats, a heating pad and the comfy LR couch. I closed my eyes, and memories of 9-11 flooded-back into my realtime consciousness, from the deepest recesses of my mind. I slept for 3hrs, got up in time to watch The History Channel's documentary, "102 Minutes That Changed America". (((SIGH)))

First time in a very long time, that I've been so impressed by a newcomer, since I can't remember when, BTW.
