We Are On "Summer Hours"

We are open on our "Summer Hours" Schedule: Monday – Saturday, 8:00am – 3:00pm, and Closed on Sundays (weather permitting, of course). We will be closed on Sunday, September 4th & Monday, September 5th, for the Labor Day Holiday Weekend. Please adjust your visitation schedules accordingly. Our Annual 25% Off Fall Sale starts Thursday, September 1st, and so does our "Fall Hours Schedule", which'll be posted here on Thursday. Calling ahead to make sure we're open during either "very hot & stormy weather", would be a very good idea, as we do occasionally close-down earlier than the posted business hours. Or simply call my Office at 717.246.1414 or 1.800.828.3405 to get me, or to leave a message, after hours. I'll get back to you within 24 hours to discuss your plans and landscape needs.

We Are Officially-Registered & Licensed PA Home Improvement Contractors

Pennsylvania Act 132 (PA HICPA), aka known "PA Senate Bill 100 of 2007", the "Home Improvement Contractor Registration Law", officially became PA State Law on July 1, 2009. We are now into our 3rd year of being a Registered Pennsylvania Home Improvement Contractor Registration Number: PA000403, aka HIC #403. (As of May 20th, 2011, we just renewed our status and number and received our new Certificate from the Office of The State Attorney General.) All Hardscape Projects (excluding related labor costs) are covered by this new law and a special "Official Contract" for project estimation, developed by the PA State Attorney's Office and the PLNA (Pennsylvania Landscape & Nursery Ass'n), must be used to detail total the Hardscape Project costs, down payment etc. The Greenscape Project's plant material is NOT covered by this Contract, nor are the man-hours of installation for either the Hardscape or Greenscape Materials; Customers will be billed for those separately on the Final Invoice, along with the Greenscape Plant Material, other materials and machinery etc, if used. All Home Improvement Contractors' HIC (PAOAGHC) Numbers must be displayed on all contractors' trucks, ads, brochures, etc, as ours are. If it isn't at least on their truck(s), call the State Attorney General's Office and report them at 1-888-520-6680. Do not accept any hardscape work from any company without a PA HIC # and the accompanying 7-page Official PA-Sanctioned Home Improvement Contract! If you do, you risk losing all your money and getting shoddy, little or no work done, and there are still "many-tens-of-thousands of them out there", doing that type of lousy business. We never have, and never will in our 21+ years of operation.

Professional Landscape Design Help Is Available

Our On-Staff, Registered Landscape Architect is readily-available to help you make the right decision and choice, the first time. We now do free landscape plans for established customers, to a degree. We also do not charge first-time customers for their "prioritized" and detailed Residential Landscape Plans, but WE keep the plans in your folder in my office files, along with your Landcape Estimates and (2009 PA State Law-mandated, 8-page) HICPA Hardscape Contracts, unless you wish to purchase the plan, and then receive your own copy. A detailed Hardscape materials-only cost estimate and HICPA (Home Improvement Customer Protection Act) Contract, for any hardscape aspect of the job (excludes labor), automatically follows its completion and mailing to a prospective Customer. The first site visit is free. I keep the LSCP Design; you get a copy if you purchase the plant material from us, or have us do the installation. Please keep in mind that my Key Staff Registered Landscape Architect does not provide full Landscape Installation cost estimates; he does only comprehensive, detailed landscape designs for 1-2 "prioritized phases". I will provide the full or phased-installation cost estimates and job scheduling, after you and my Key Staff Registered Landscape Architect have finished the design phase(s). Drip Irrigation Systems are mandatory with each Landscape Installation; no exceptions or NO 5-YR WARRANTY. Payment for the chosen Greenscape plant material and all Hardscape material is required prior to beginning the project, to reserve your materials. Without a Landscape Design, there can be no phased-cost Landscape Estimate(s) or full-blown Landscape Project. So let's take the "first step" together, by doing an initial "prioritized", phased-Landscape Design Plan, then the Landscape Estimate and the required HICPA Hardscape Contract, in that exact order.
