Over the past seven years, our unique newspaper advertising style has attracted considerable attention. We have never advertised price; instead, we market an image unlike any other garden center or nursery anywhere. We are positioned as the leader of all Garden Center & Nurseries in a modern, upscale facility with top-of-the-line merchandise that other places only dream about.
A recent series of our "info-ads" about mulch and the criminal activities of a local paper mill adding cancer-causing dioxins and furans to its mulch has changed the way people in Pennsylvania and Maryland view and purchase mulch. When connected to the food chain, as most gardens are, the cancerous dioxins and furans soon leach-out and are uptaken in vegetables and are then eaten by people. No wonder York County has one of the highest cancer rates in the nation! All from that filthy paper mill's past criminal activities.
Two subsequent newspaper articles in The Weekly Record and York Daily Record also exposed these shameful actions and the conspiratorial vendors who sell the poisonous mulch to the unsuspecting public.
Our ads are highly entertaining, thought-provoking, sometimes shocking, provide copious amounts of commonsense information, urge people to do things and tell them how. People all over the region have collected our ads for years. Cool. And thanks.
